The girls and I stumbled into this Old Town gem, and boom Temecula everything!! Shirts, sweaters, hats, magnets... if it can be branded, it's here!! Need a souvenir or just want to scream "I LOVE TEMECULA" w your wardrobe? This is your spot. They also have western-style fashion and Native American pattern bags that say "local flair w a yeehaw!!" This is a perfect tourist store, where one can pick up nice souvenirs. They had some very well made shirts with Temecula emblazoned on them. I loved this store. Right in old town Temecula. There's a few wooden steps to get up to the entrance. Cute corner shop with the most welcoming service and friendly staff. A few of us were meandering through checking out their Birkenstocks, hats, accessories, clothes and sandals from Turkey that were so soft. Men's and women's apparel with dressing rooms available. Limited lot on the premises or street parking. A must visit when in Temecula I'll definitely stop in again! read more

I stopped into Rivers & Roads last weekend and had such a great experience! The store is beautifully set up and has such a welcoming vibe you can really tell a lot of care goes into everything. What stood out most was the customer service. The manager, Allisen, was so kind and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable without being overbearing. It honestly made the whole shopping experience even better. They have a really unique selection of items, and it's the kind of place where you'll always find something special, whether you're shopping for yourself or a gift. Absolutely the worst customer service and return policy I have ever witnessed. Received a shirt as a Christmas present. Usually a large shirt fits me just fine. The shirt purchased (size L) was nowhere near fitting me. All Rivers and Roads specific tags  are still attached to the shirt. No problem, I thought, I will drop in and exchange large for an xl. Nope, not happening without a printed receipt (the gift did not include the receipt- duh) and returns / exchanges are only good for 7 days from purchase. Spoke with an employee who referred to the manager and the exchange was denied. Our family has shopped at this store numerous times. They will no longer have our business. From one small business to another, there was a better way to handle this situation. read more

Cute retail shopping in Old Town- sister store to Under the Willow down the street. Personally, this boutique has more styles of clothing that suits what I like to wear. Today I found a corduroy Men's Brown Shirt from Brixton in a Size Small. Because I have wide shoulders, sometimes I fit better in a Men's Small versus a Women's "shacket." As the sleeves can be long, I roll them up for a casual look, do one button in the middle, and then tie it at the end and throw it over a tank and leggings. Oooo-La-Laaa, easy to wear for brunch or errands around town. Also nice to throw over jeans or cargo pants if going out to the woods for a hike and/or cozying up inside a cabin with a nice fire. This place has a bit of Western and Southwestern themes, as well as perfect looks for autumn. Think plaid and nice browns, deep reds, oranges, and shades of black. The lady that helped me is the mom of the owner who runs several stores, including one in Carlsbad. I got to try my shirt on with very little crowds (it was early in the late morning before people descend) to see how it fit. I also saw some cute tote bags, Weekender luggage, and very chic Tees for all genders. It's in the same building as the very popular Press Espresso. Grab your coffee or latte and then walk on over to support a local business. I can't wait to go browsing again and check out other items - as they come in with the change of the seasons. I have lived in Old Town a couple of months now. I have had the pleasure of visiting most all of the wonderful stores, shops. And some of the many restaurants and coffee houses. But I have to say that there is one clothing store that I frequent often. Rivers and Roads is a unique upscale clothing store located on the constantly busy Front Street. I am a 73 man on a modest budget and, truth be known, I probably should be a bit more conservative in my shopping at Rivers and Roads! But the owner has an eye for what is fashionable and fmbefitting the Old Town "vibe". The sales people are all helpful. But what I like most is that they leave you alone...unless you ask for help. Then they offer you the kind of help that is really...helpful. I do have to thank the employees for their patience with me. I can be a bit playfully flirtatious. I mean no harm and could easily be thir grandfather! The owner hires well and the staff are always professional a polite. I believe that the owner of Rivers and Roads has some other shops and boutiques in Old Town, and they all are beautifully adorned and staffed! read more
