Not quite a fan, but occasionally I find something that is worthy of making it to my wardrobe. The brand is not particularly my vibe, but I walk their aisles sometimes . Today nothing grabbed me.

Very organized! Everything was very neat -- including the clearance section (which is always a giant mess). Their clothes just isn't my style, but they have a lot of cute clothes for babies and kids. Their prices seemed fairly reasonable, but I just didn't see anything that peaked my interest. They also had many signs posted about promotions and deals going on. I wasn't approached by any workers that asked if I needed any help, but I wasn't in there for very long. Every once in a while, they'll have some cute pieces so stop by occasionally!

We happened to shop around and came across the Old Navy in Promenade Mall In Temecula. The interior was clean and the clothing wears were arranged nicely. The sales associates were friendly and accommodating. What we like about this place is that the style and sizes are available for all ages, and the pricing is reasonably affordable. The only downfall was the fitting rooms were disarray with a bunch of clothing, hangers and plastics. It would be nice if the front desk associate for these rooms perform constant upkeep of the changing areas. A 3.5 for sure, but a 4.0 or higher if this section is maintained daily. The wifey ended up taking home a nice knee-length floral dress and came with a qualifying $10 cash back coupon for any $25 or more purchased in the future.

Took daughter to buy white shorts. I politely asked the sales associate and who I believe was the merchandiser manager to point me to the white shorts section. Both told me they had "no white shorts". Being a former retail manager myself at the Beverly Center and Fred Segal I thought impossible. Reminded me of when my employees thought items where out and all they had to do was a little walking around the store or remember their planograms. So I took it upon myself to prove my point. Here are pics of the amount of non existing white shorts I found under 5 minutes of legwork. I must say that the ladies where very nice, nothing personal. Hope this makes the DM chuckle a little .

Lines wrapped through the store, no staff to help, never a variety of sizes available. Get your act together.

Old Navy is Old Navy. Cheap clothes and a good place to shop for your back to school kids.

We were browsing dress shirts when my boyfriend asked to try on a simple white shirt (around $90). Before even allowing him to try it on, the man questioned whether the price was "acceptable," then went on to complain about customers on a budget wasting his time by asking to try things on. This was unnecessary and off-putting. My boyfriend tried the shirt anyway. While the fit was fine, the fabric and overall quality did not justify the price, so he decided not to purchase it. At that point, the situation escalated. The owner became visibly irritated and began criticizing my boyfriend's current shirt, insisting the one in the store was far superior--ironically, the shirt he was wearing had been purchased from that same store previously. The entire interaction felt argumentative, dismissive, and unnecessarily condescending. Shopping should not feel like you have to justify your budget or defend your decisions as a customer. There are plenty of places that offer both quality products and respectful service. This was not one of them.

We rented complete head-to-toe looks for both of my boys for prom, and they looked absolutely amazing. Everything fit well, and the overall presentation was sharp and polished. I highly recommend using Men's Wearhouse. While prices can be a bit higher during prom season, you're truly paying for the experience--and it shows. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. If you want to avoid the hassle of piecing together an outfit for prom, a wedding, or any special event, this is definitely the place to go. The suit was ordered and scheduled to be delivered Thursday, which had FedEx tracking and email confirmation. When he went to pick it up Thursday evening, it was not there. Grandma's funeral is this Saturday in the Bay area. My husband flies out Friday morning to attend and now has no suit to wear despite spending 3 hours Sunday afternoon at a fitting. In what world is this acceptable? It seems they can't even keep track of orders that are shipped in, so go somewhere else. Save your money! Don't waste your time. They don't care about their customers. UPDATE* So my husband tried go pick up his suit again. Of course, they closed at 6pm on Memorial Day. We had called earlier that morning and the phone was cutting in and out. What we both heard the associate on the phone say was "Well since it's Monday..." and then it cut out so we just assumed it was normal Monday business hours because why else would you begin a sentence like that? What she should have said was "We close at 6 today." It's a holiday. Call any other place and that's how they respond. The lack of efficiency and unnecessary verbosity when it comes to service and communication in this location is beyond frustrating. My husband headed to the store after 6PM unfortunately. For the record, we live about 20 minutes away so it's a 40 minute round trip drive to go each time. So that's an hour and 20 minutes he has driven to still NOT HAVE A SUIT!! (Also gas is $6/gal) At this point, I feel like they should just give my husband his suit for free or perhaps he should return it because this is not how it should be!

They were more than happy to relieve me of my skateboard and longboard. I had a mortgage to pay. I did not want to risk a broken bone. Time to adult I thought. Five years later my awesome wife got not rollerblading. She wanted me to roll around with her while she practiced. I am not a roller skater nor a roller bladder. I used to be a skateboarder. I told her about Active. How when I was twelve, I used to scrounge up my change to buy bearings and wheels at Active while my mom, brother, and I washed our weekly laundry at the coin-laundry place next door. We live in Vista now. I wanted to check out the Active in Escondido; however, it has since closed. I try to spend local and checked out local skate shops but kept thinking about my old Active. I convinced my wife that we could go to Temecula and pop in for a bite at Old Town after to make it worth the drive. I felt like a kid again walking into Active in Temecula, same shopping center, but in the new location. I had the fortune of meeting Jackson. He is enthusiastic about skateboarding. I told him that this would be my last board, and for me, it was like buying a car. We talked about styles, boards, form versus function, etc. Jackson led me through each category and made me feel confident that I was selecting items that fit my riding style and personal style preferences. This is my favorite board that I have ever owned. The front cashier said my board was dope when ringing out. I already knew, but to hear the first person say it, made me grin from ear-to-ear. I hope Active comes back strong. I will try to spend my money there when I can to support the cause. The Return. Thank you Jackson, the woman in the front, and Active. I felt like a kid again. I made sure to cruise Old Town on my awesome new board to make sure the first ride was in Temecula. Where I grew up. Where I hung out at Active. Where I fell in love with skating. Thank you!
