BRING A LARGE TOWEL! If that's a beach towel, bath towel, so be it but, brim a towel. You will be sweaty, and you will be slipping and sliding around the mat without one. They will provide a mat for you, or you can bring your own. Parking is plentiful, and there is a shared bathroom in the plaza that requires a code that you can find at the front desk of the studio. They have a little free parking lot which is so helpful for parking. The building itself is cute and aesthetically pleasing. The studio itself is sooooo nicely decorated, inside and out. It's the perfect warm temperature to have hot pilates without it being too hot. They also have a water station in the welcoming area as well as cubbies for your belongings. I took a class with Sasha and she was great! She was so welcoming, personable, and motivating. I endometriosis and took the class on day 1 of my period, which is always awfulllllll. Sasha was motivating but also supportive when I needed to do a lighter version of the exercise or needed breaks :) I loved my experience and will definitely love to return! My only suggestion is more in-person tours or info for new guests. I didn't really know where to put my stuff and if I was new to reformer pilates, I would have had not understood how to use the reformer machines. But all in all, I had an amazing time and got a great workout. I felt so welcomed and really felt like I fit in with the class as a newbie. I have gone to other studios where I felt like a fish out of water with my pilates level, but here I feel like I fit in even at a newer fitness level :)

Parking wasn't difficult because we came on a Wednesday afternoon but I can see it being a problem over the weekend. There is a small parking lot shared with other businesses. Workout was great! We did a few moves I've never done before. Heavy legs were challenging and the flow was smooth.

And weights and towels to borrow. And several other items, depending what class you take. - Unlike the other CM hot yoga studio, this place includes dumbbells for simultaneous strength training and sculpting. Some of the exercises were challenging for me, and I'm pretty fit. - Since Hot Yoga Sculpt class was very small with only 3 students (unlike the hot yoga class at the other Costa Mesa hot yoga studio, which had like 30 students), you get more personal space and you're not breathing each other's sharp exhalation. - Teacher Cristina was attentive, supportive, and friendly. She helped fine-tune my technique. - Instead of them handing out wipes after class, they have baskets for you to drop off everything you borrowed for sanitation. - Their shower rooms have hairspray and gel! Wow! Non-likes: - During the workout, some music was relatively cacophonous: too much fast-paced lyrics and rhythm, when yoga is supposed to be about super steady, soothing vibes and tranquility. - The yoga class did not emphasize balance as much. The studio paired me with Becky, and she has been amazing. The private sessions with her helped me rebuild confidence in my form and feel ready to transition back into group classes. She knows how to challenge you in all the right ways, which I really appreciate! The group sessions have been fun to get into as well. They're definitely not easy (for me ), but the instructors make it easy to work at your own pace. This studio has quickly become my new happy place.

I'm sure it's not easy to keep it clean and updated on low membership rates. They have all the equipment you need for working out, but it's old. They also have a good variety of classes, though I wish there were more evening and weekend options. A couple of the teachers are outstanding (Denise, Laura, Norma). The dance classes are not very good. The locker room is clean and well maintained. The room for classes is really in need of a remodel. There is a big slope in the floor, and parts are peeling or cracked and need to be replaced. The equipment is often dusty and some things are just dirty. There is a lot of dust everywhere, and they don't wipe down or sweep between classes, or disinfect the equipment in the gym or the exercise room. The mats get used and put back as is. Recently in a yoga class, I inhaled a mound of dust from being down on the floor and it was pretty gross! There are fans that need to be hosed down and every time they go on a little waft of dust comes out. I hate to complain because I'm grateful for the good things this gym offers (location, price, staff & members are very nice - no "scene" and nonsense!). But they also need to refresh a little bit would go a long way.

She was so welcoming and helped me calm any nerves I had about reformer Pilates. I have had friends go to other studios and they had no idea how to use the machines and felt so lost during the class that they have sworn off reformer pilates. After welcoming me, Lyla taught me all about the reformer machine and made sure I knew how to use it, which i'm sooo grateful for. The class itself was great! It challenged me but it wasn't too out of reach for my fitness level. You can also adjust weights and the machine to match where your fitness level is at, which is nice. It was my 1st class, so I took lots of breathers and lil breaks. I felt like during my breathers, I got lots of validation and I didn't fall behind. After the class, my body felt like jello and I will definitely be sore tomorrow, but I looove feeling my body strengthening! The studio itself is gorgeous, calm, and clean. They have different studios for different classes offered. They also have water to fill your water bottles and also merch and supplies for sale. There is a lot of parking in the back which is really nice. They have a 5 minute late rule, so be on time :) I'm so thankful I signed up for this class through Class Pass. I can't wait to come back :)

I'm in the middle of trying out a few studios in the OC before committing to a membership. When I entered, I realized that the sign up for class pass is different (you don't check in via the iPad but via the front desk person). As I sat and waited, I overhead her making a comment about how there have been "so many class pass" people lately. That kind of irked me but I decided to not acknowledge it. The class was a reformer sculpt class led by Riley. She was a good instructor. She introduced herself and asked me if I had any injuries or modifications needed. The class itself is more on the challenging side so make sure you have a few reformer classes done before doing a sculpt one. I saw that they have mat classes as well and I'm interested in taking one by Meg. Still a little irked by the comment about Class Passers that I overheard but not going to let it get to me. I know I am a valuable client and don't need validation. Parking: lot in the back Cubicles and bathroom are provided. The studio itself is very beautiful and aesthetic.
