I LOVED my experience at The Body Collective. Today was my first pilates class ever, so I was a little nervous. The instructor Lyla was amazing! She was so welcoming and helped me calm any nerves I had about reformer Pilates. I have had friends go to other studios and they had no idea how to use the machines and felt so lost during the class that they have sworn off reformer pilates. After welcoming me, Lyla taught me all about the reformer machine and made sure I knew how to use it, which i'm sooo grateful for. The class itself was great! It challenged me but it wasn't too out of reach for my fitness level. You can also adjust weights and the machine to match where your fitness level is at, which is nice. It was my 1st class, so I took lots of breathers and lil breaks. I felt like during my breathers, I got lots of validation and I didn't fall behind. After the class, my body felt like jello and I will definitely be sore tomorrow, but I looove feeling my body strengthening! The studio itself is gorgeous, calm, and clean. They have different studios for different classes offered. They also have water to fill your water bottles and also merch and supplies for sale. There is a lot of parking in the back which is really nice. They have a 5 minute late rule, so be on time :) I'm so thankful I signed up for this class through Class Pass. I heard a lot of good things about the Body Collective and since I have class pass, I decided to sign up for a class. I'm in the middle of trying out a few studios in the OC before committing to a membership. When I entered, I realized that the sign up for class pass is different (you don't check in via the iPad but via the front desk person). As I sat and waited, I overhead her making a comment about how there have been "so many class pass" people lately. That kind of irked me but I decided to not acknowledge it. The class was a reformer sculpt class led by Riley. She was a good instructor. She introduced herself and asked me if I had any injuries or modifications needed. The class itself is more on the challenging side so make sure you have a few reformer classes done before doing a sculpt one. I saw that they have mat classes as well and I'm interested in taking one by Meg. Still a little irked by the comment about Class Passers that I overheard but not going to let it get to me. I took my first pilates class here and I've been returning religiously ever since. I'm a class pass girly so this studio works so well for my wallet, my time, and my energy! I typically take classes with Taylor Urena or Lily Young. Both of these individuals are so great at what they do and the way they teach (and the music they play). I took a Sculpt class at Body Collective and it was exactly what I needed after two days of heavy lifting. I came in sore and achy, not sure if I'd make it through, but the workout is easily adaptable to meet you where you're at. Instructor Lily was great. Her cues were clear, the pacing was on point, and the class flowed seamlessly. I left feeling challenged but not overworked, which was the perfect balance for recovery. I am literally obsessed with The Body Collective! The community here is incredible and the women I've met are some of the kindest humans. The owner, Tiffany, has such a deep passion for creating an aesthetic and intentional space, and it shows in every detail of the studio. I've been coming here since early 2024, and no matter how many other studios I try, I always come back. Lily's, Karly's, and both Taylors' classes are favorites, and Lyla and Syd kick my ass in the best way. There's truly so much talent across the instructors. Beyond the classes, I've watched both the studio and my own strength evolve. Coming from a powerlifting and bodybuilding background, my hips and shoulders were wrecked, but Pilates here has completely improved my mobility, joint health, and overall well-being. They also host amazing community events and wellness experiences that make the space feel even more special. Tiffany has created something really special! Honestly, one of the best Pilates studio I've been to! The instructors are amazing , the selection of classes available and times available are unbeatable! All equipment is provided, you just need to show up in nonslip socks! The unlimited pass is so worth it. The more I attend the lower the cost per class and the hotter I get.. it just makes sense hahaha! Taylor U. , Meg D. and Brittney R. are the absolute best instructors you can take. The instructors and desk staff are friendly and welcoming, the studio is beautiful and clean, only downside (and not their fault) is the parking can be a little tricky in the evenings. This was my first time at the body collective and I had a great experience!! The studio is so beautiful and clean. I was so surprised to see only 6 reformers in the Pilates room, it felt like it was a private session! Juliette was AMAZING! She offered modifications to make the moves more beginner friendly or more difficult to give us a challenge. It was also very helpful that she demoed each move! She provided clear directions for each of the transitions that made it easy to follow along and also gave very helpful cues to focus on proper form and alignment!! Took another class today-- my favorite: Abs Arms Booty and of course totally LOVE it! First time taking a class by Lyla as I've been wanting to take her class but it's usually during my work hours. She's so lovely and nice. Music playlist was p e r f e c t; it definitely sets the mood. Her transitions were very smooth and the moments where we have to do pulses, she knew not to count too slow since we are already tired. I do appreciate that since I've been to other studios where the instructor continues to count slowly from 10 for every single move regardless of clients struggling. It's a cute little studio that has a place for you to put your shoes in bags. You do need to wear grip socks, but they provide all the other equipment. I have been a member of Body Collective since it opened and it has been a game changer addition to my workout routine! All the instructures I have taken are great, but Britt's Arms Abs and Booty class is a MUST every week. No class is ever the same and it is always challenging. Zephanie is another favorite of mine and she kicks my butt every time. If you are looking for a Pilates studio, I cannot recommend Body Collective enough. I love the 6 am classes! Every girl that works there is so warm and inviting, especially for an early morning class! it's the best way to start my day.
