Today I went at 8:30 AM and a Jamaican lady was just NOT PROFESSIONAL she stabbed the metal scraper in-between my teeth and though my gums and made me bleed... And to top that the entire time she was talking about how she forgot her lunch and how she made it and she was talking about McDonald's ice cream too... 1/10 Experience would not recommend I literally have gone to this dentist since I was 2 and it's gotten way worse!!

I was recommended to Dr. Maxwell by my dentist Dr. Hortman, my case needed an oral surgeon. I had…read moreundergone 35 radiation treatments to fight throat cancer that left the bone underneath my gums compromised. Dr. Maxwell reviewed my history along with my x-rays and gave me a preliminary diagnosis. He then proceeded with a new extensive set which confirmed his original diagnosis. The doctor gave me a plan to resolve my issues which was my teeth were chipping and cracking due to the lack of blood flow to bone underneath the gums. The bone was so compromised that it wouldn't stand up to implants so the doctor recommended dentures. The process would have to start with the blood flow being restored through hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Maxwell needed my medical records to build a case for the insurance company. Immediately I thought about the hoops I would have to jump through to get them to him. The only thing that I had to give him were the names of my doctors and his staff took care of everything. The staff at Coastal Carolina is the best I've ever seen and I've been to more medical facilities than I could count. Through all my visits there the only thing I had to do is sit back and open my mouth. The staff took care of everything in an extremely friendly, compassionate and efficient way . . . they all followed Dr. Maxwell's example. It did take months for the doctor to prepare me for the dentures that Dr. Hortman made for me. The two doctors worked hand in hand through the whole process to restore my mouth. I highly recommend Dr. Maxwell and Coastal Carolina Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. My appointments were on time, never having to wait long. I was there for a cleaning as a first time patient. Their charges were in line with other dental offices. I would remind you to be alert to upsales. Had I been properly informed beforehand that the services would not be covered as represented, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed financial decision regarding the appointment and treatment. I took a chance and walked in to Seabreeze; they were able to see my daughter that day to remove her wire and today they removed her braces. The cost was FAR LESS than I anticipated and the care was SUPERIOR. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I loved our old Orthodontist and I'm grateful to have found Seabreeze.
