As a registered dental hygienist who worked at this practice, I feel an ethical obligation to share my experience because I believe patient safety and professional standards were compromised.
During my employment, I observed what I believed to be serious deficiencies in infection control, sterilization practices, documentation, and patient care on the surgical side (teeth extractions/dentures). I repeatedly raised these concerns internally because I believed they posed potential risks to patients. When I was unable to see meaningful corrective action, I reported my concerns to the appropriate regulatory authorities for investigation.
I also observed practices that caused me concern regarding billing, documentation, and the quality of care provided to some patients. In my professional judgment, these issues warrant review by the appropriate licensing and regulatory agencies. I have provided information based on my firsthand observations to those agencies and will cooperate fully with any investigation.
Throughout my employment, I advocated for my patients and believed they deserved care that met accepted professional and ethical standards. Unfortunately, after raising concerns regarding patient safety and compliance, my employment ended. I believe my termination was connected to my reporting of those concerns, and I am pursuing the appropriate channels to address that matter. The clinic staff may say I quit, that is a lie, the truth is I began to question the company's integrity and how patient care was provided and I was abruptly told to leave and not come back. HR has falsified documents to form a false narrative about me and the company refuses to do an internal investigation at my request.
If you are currently a patient or have recently received treatment at this clinic, I encourage you to obtain copies of your dental records and, if you have concerns about your treatment, seek an independent second opinion from another licensed dentist. Every patient deserves transparent communication, ethical treatment, and care provided in accordance with accepted standards.
This review reflects my personal experience and my firsthand observations including Dr. Heirholzer's verbal racism against patients and cruel treatment while employed at the clinic. My intent is not to attack anyone personally but to encourage accountability and to help ensure that patients receive safe, ethical, and professional dental care now that I'm no longer there to raise these concerns. I always upheld my commitment as your dental hygienist to the highest ethical standards, practice in clinical skills and abided by state law. It was my pleasure to serve you in the time I was there and will miss you all dearly. To the staff I became friends with and who prayed with me when the company was doing wrong against me, thank you, I love you too.
