Dr Maser and his staff are angels who answered my prayers. I told them how horrible my previous dental experience had been and how sensitive my teeth are. They have been the most gentle ever. Both hygienist I've had the pleasure of meeting were nice and so very gentle. They continued to ask me throughout the process how I was doing and if I had any pain. I truly appreciated that. Then today I had my first filling with Dr Maser. He heard my concerns about feeling everything while he filled my cavity. I never felt anything. His dental assistant made sure to keep checking to see how I was doing and well as Dr Maser. It was so refreshing to not feel any pain and my teeth look beautiful I could just cry. I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Maser's dental office! I came in for a cleaning and was lucky enough to work with his assistant, Noutay. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helped calm my nerves right away--which is no small feat at the dentist's office. The entire team always makes me feel welcomed and cared for, and meeting Noutay for the first time was an added bonus. While no one ever looks forward to ending their day at the dentist, I genuinely enjoy my visits with Dr. Maser's crew. As a fun side note, I can't help but admire the artwork from his daughter that's displayed in the office--now, if I could only convince her to part with a piece, my visits would be absolute perfection! read more

There are several things that I didn't like. In one appointment, they replaced four amalgam fillings with resins. One of my teeth still hurts when I chew. The day after I went back to have the tooth lowered because it felt too high, it was the only one that hit when I chewed, and the pain was so strong that I hurt the nerve of that tooth. And to this day it bothers me when I chew. I had to go back twice to have it lowered, but the doctor and the assistant clearly seemed upset. The doctor lowered the tooth that hit the one he worked on. That didn't seem right to me, and when I was leaving I asked the assistant if I could use mouthwash because my mouth was dry from all the dust from the pieces they had lowered, and she wouldn't let me use mouthwash or water. She only gave me the hose to extract my saliva. I chose this place because I saw that it had good reviews. But honestly, they didn't do a good job. Or maybe because I'm Hispanic they treated me like that ‍, I hope it's not because of that. read more

Okay so let me say, for my first visit and hating dentist (as everyone pretty much does), they were awesome. The hygentist was courteous, friendly and comforting. To be honest the whole staff was. Dr. Maser was amazing. He was forward about my dental plan and telling me what I DID, and didn't need, and not trying to do more then was needed. He helped me make a plan that was pheasable and something to work towards that im not going to go crazy about. Overall, my experience was exceptional. Due to recently moving to South Carolina from California, my wife and I needed to find a new Doctor and a new Dentist. When you are as big a BABY as I am when it comes to visiting the dentist, that was no easy task. Especially because after I found a dentist, that meant I actually had to GO to the dentist. After doing some research on the Internet, I was convinced that Michael J. Maser DMD, MAGD would be my first pick, so I made an appointment. After an initial check-up visit, and then a second visit for a cleaning, I was convinced that this Dentist and his entire office, were something special. I was feeling braver than ever when I walked in for my next appointment, which was to replace 3 fillings that were many years old. I'm sure none of the staff noticed my knees knocking and the panic that was going on inside. But from the minute I walked through the front door and was greeted by my first name with a warm welcome, I almost forgot that I was nervous. From the three-stage numbing process, through Dr. Maser completing my 3 fillings; I honestly did not feel a thing ... and don't forget; I am the biggest baby on the planet. Dr. Maser was genuinely concerned with my comfort from start to finish. After a lifetime of being totally stressed about visiting the Dentist, those days are over. My wife also visited Dr. Maser the same day ... and she was equally pleased with her visit. That night at home, I was curious about what MAGD meant in Dr. Maser's title, so I got on the Internet. MAGD stood for - Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Only the top 2% of Dentists in the U.S. and Canada - had the extra education and expertise to have this designation of MAGD. About that time, my mobile phone wrang. You will NEVER guess who it was! It was Dr. Maser himself, calling to make sure that Mary and I were OK and there were no problems. WOW!
