I worked with Laura at Beacon Hill. She contacted me about a resume I had on Monster and she discussed the possibility of being placed with an employer though this service. I was a little skeptical at first, because of the rampant scams that are going around, but after speaking with Laura for just a little bit I realized she was legitimate and very good at her job. After our initial contact on Monday, Laura and I set a date for a Skype/FaceTime call on Friday where we could get to know each other better. At the appointed time, we spoke for about a half hour and she went over my resume thoroughly. We then went through my wants, needs, and expectations. I felt that this was extremely thoughtful, as I've been reading that most companies are not that interested in the worker. It was novel and refreshing to be valued as an potential employee. That same day, Laura found something that met my unconventional schedule and She submitted my resume for consideration by the employer.
