Preferable a comfortable fabric that gave and didn't wrinkle very easily since I would be folding it up to take it on a carry-on to NJ. The gown was altered perfectly and the communication with the proprietor was excellent! I couldn't have found the most perfect gown. If you don't know already, these gowns are design by Camilyn Beth. Her fabrics are wisely chosen for ease of wearing and the designs are simple elegance. When I was in my 20s I would call it a "smart" looking dress because it was something Jackie O or Hepburn would wear. My tastes have always been classic, simple and comfortable, so this gown was perfect for me. All I have to say to Camilyn Beth is bravo! You hit fashion on the nail when it comes to classic elegance.
