I'm happy to share our experience working with Mark and Michelle and Beach Haus Interiors…read more.. So a little history about our house...We built a home on Boca Grande in 2022. When asked about interior ideas, our contractor suggested Beach Haus Interiors and the Mansfield's. As the project progressed, I'd started thinking that I had the time and kinda know what I was looking for, I didn't need help with the interior of the house. I started my search for all that is home interior, which very quickly ended in tears as I was so overwhelmed. Turns out that I needed Michelle's expertise after all. Michelle began by getting an understanding of how we'd use the space...in our case we wanted a very informal and coastal vibe with a focus on the outdoor space. We loved that she gave us style, color and material choices for everything. Michelle started by laying out the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room. Helped pick out exterior colors and materials, then moved on to flooring, bathroom fixtures and tile, the kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances and of course added furniture, fixtures, rugs, wallpaper, window treatments and bedding. I'm sure that there are things I'm forgetting but you get the idea. Mark and Jacob certainly did their parts as well...they built shelves, hung all of the window treatments, assembled and installed all furniture, and hung pictures and mirrors as well as lighting. Beach Haus is a one stop shop! We are so grateful for Michelle and Mark. With all of the things to worry about while remotely building a house in Florida, we never, not for one minute, ever questioned how beautiful and functional our house would be. And yes, their entire operation was extremely professional. We shared emails and phone calls regularly, and any concerns or questions we had were very quickly addressed. Michelle would invoice us via email with a payment link that was very easy to use but only after all were in agreement with selections, materials, installation, delivery date, etc. We would highly recommend The Mansfield's and Beach Haus Interiors. I promise you that you'll have a wonderful interior decorating experience. Due to scheduling, I only had 3 weeks between trying on my wedding dress (bought off the rack) and flying out to my international destination wedding. Upon my arrival in Sarasota, I zipped my dress, and it did not go up past my waist--oh no! I went to another Sarasota tailor who saw the dress and me in it, and simply said, "No." I spent two days wallowing and online browsing when I went back to the internet to see if there was anything else to be done. THANK THE INTERNET FOR FINDING WENDY! I made an appointment via phone for later that afternoon and was greeted in her shop by the kindest, most easy-going woman, I could not help but feel more relaxed. I tried on the dress and came out of the changing room to explain my thoughts. Wendy quietly listened and simply said, "there are so many things we can do to make this dress perfect." Music to my ears! She gave me 12 days for any last minute slimming down and completely altered the bodice of the dress in something ridiculous like 2 days--I kid you not. The dress was 3 layers, the top of which was lace. To add room to zip, she hemmed lace from the skirt of the dress which she made into fabric panels under the arms on both sides, allowing more space and the zipper to zip. Wendy charged me an unbelievably reasonable rate for the level of imagination and skill that went into this work and I was thrilled to double her requested rate for the impeccable work and piece of mind she gave me during a very stressful time. Wendy, you are a godsend and I am so grateful for your time, patience, work and opinions. I only wish I could get married again to enlist your work again! You know I will be back the next time I am in Sarasota!
