The prices are decent. I had the Açaí Peanut Butter Bowl. This came with the frozen pureed açaí, and was topped with coconuts, granola, and peanut butter of course. It doesn't have any room for seating inside because it's such a small building. It's takeout only. That's okay because the Hudson River waterfront will only be a few blocks away and that's a cool place for eating bowls and such.

The large size is usually sufficient for a meal and keeps me full for a few hours. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating; they always confirm your order and choice of milk in advance. While the shop is clean, it is very small so there isn't much seating inside with only one stool, but they provide bags for grab and go.

What I received had ZERO raw coconut, it was literally just frozen coconut milk with blueberries and strawberries. I also paid extra to add chia seeds, which they forgot to put in (that part 100% understandable). I went back and politely asked for my chia seeds and asked where the raw coconut was. The employee added the chia seeds and casually said, "Yeah, I forgot," with absolutely no apology or acknowledgment. When I asked about the missing raw coconut, I got a bunch of excuses that honestly didn't even make sense. If an ingredient is listed in the description, I expect to actually receive it, and if you make a mistake, at least own it and apologize. This was not worth the money at all (was in total $18) Definitely my first and LAST time coming to this Playa Bowls location. Do better.
