This place is absolutely AMAZING on every level. For drinks we got a strawberry matcha and an iced latte and both of them tasted perfectly. Not only that but the customer service was spot on they were so sweet and helpful! We even got food the strawberry crepe and the fresh rolls with peanut sauce. My girlfriend melted over the strawberry dessert and the fresh rolls with peanut sauce was the BEST I have ever had. This will for sure be a regular spot I go to. The inside is also very cute and cozy a fantastic place to sit down and relax!

Definitely new since I left home. I was interested. Ambiance was wonderful. A good amount of seating with each sitting spot feelings mildly secluded, which is nice. No one wants their coffee shop gossip being overheard. And when you walk in, you're first greeted with that classic glass case of available pastries and goodies. It was hard to not just order one of each item. Service was nice. It was counter service, and they bring your order right to your table. Can't ask for better service than that. Nice folks, good small talk. And the food, it was delightful. We got a couple of fancy coffee drinks, which were well-flavored, not too sweet, and the iced one was presented in a mason jar. Classic. We also shared like four food items. The pull-apart monkey bread was sweet and dense and delicious. Don't order this if you're alone. You'll need help to finish it. Got a creme filled pull pastry thing. That was nice. Flakes for days. This was no rough puff. For the chocolate croissant, also known as a pain au chocolat. Again, very flakey, very buttery, the perfect touch of sweet chocolate. And a savory, massive scone. Bacon and chives, I think. Also very good. Crumbly. Overall, I was very surprised. There certainly wasn't anywhere like this in Pensacola when I lived here. This place is a quality bakery that could easily be found in a medium-sized city. I was so pleased and will definitely come back.

They brought all that we ordered right to our table. Very nice. And the pastries themselves were very high quality. Flakey, not dry, well filled, of a good size. Definitely a high point. Cons: No real cons. I didn't have enough stomach space to try everything I wanted. Lol. Tips: The chocolate croissant and the creme filled thing we got were delicious. The scone was also good, but maybe less good than other things we left on the table. Need to come back here!

Finally heard my boyfriend…read moresay he wanted to go to a bakery and I knew just the place. 10/10, should have gone so much sooner than we did. My boyfriend said, and I quote, "the most perfect donut dough. Light, fluffy, perfection." His donuts & breakfast sandwich were everything he wanted and more. I personally got the cinnamon roll and I INHALED it. I'm not even a big cinnamon person and I've never finished a roll in one sitting before. Safe to say, we're obsessed. The business is also so cute and boho feeling. Plus they had cute hats, bracelets and incredibly soft sweatshirts for sale. We haven't even left the dinning room yet and my boyfriend's already talking about coming here again tomorrow.

What we did get was very good. The cake donuts melted in your mouth and had good flavor. On our second stop, they had a few more options, though I must say - they don't have the largest variety of donuts in general. It's a small shop, so it's not like they can pump out volumes of 50 different kinds of donuts. I get it, but it also can be disappointing if you're looking for something in particular. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I am going to assume that you do not know about Local Thyme. It has just opened. The baker, Caleb puts a list of the items he wants to make for the week online and you place your order. He then will drop it off at Aragon Wine Market on Thursday nights when they have their free wine tastings. This went super smoothly the first time but not so much the last time. It appears that the person who was helping Caleb forgot to bring our order. My wife reached out to Caleb at around 6pm. He was at Aragon and said to our surprise that he would be right out to the house with our order. W-W-W what? Yep! Caleb drove the 20 minutes to our house, there is a toll, just to be sure that we got our order! Wow! Old school service, and the bread was fantastic too? Crazy........ So I get to work this morning and I am listening to one of my coworkers talk about this business she is trying to work with who is giving her the run around and not getting back to her. She complains that it is a brand new company and they are not trying very hard. I was happy to tell her about Local Thyme and what Caleb did for us last night. She immediately wanted to know the name of his business. I happily gave it to her. If you are sitting around thinking to yourself that you need something in your life and everything is blah and gray, I have just the thing to make your life bright and shiny again! It's sourdough cookies! Holy crap!!!!!!!! Those things will absolutely change your life. Just saying. Try them, you are welcome! Hell, its all delicious! I have a croque monsieur to devour for lunch today! I am so excited! Ok........Yes, you are right. I live to eat!

I saw the reviews of Cakemasters and thought it would be a great place from which to order one, a German Chocolate one, specifically. Not being super knowledgeable about the area's geography, I found out on the pickup day that the bakery was almost an hour and a half from where we were staying with some bad traffic in Destin. I was cursing my gaffe...until I got the cake. It was wonderful! Lisa baked it that morning and it was so delicious, everyone in the family was raving about how it was one of the best tasting cakes they'd ever had. I did have to add a relative's name to the cake after I picked it up, so please note the picture attached is NOT how she gave it to us. I'd highly recommend Cakemaster's for reasonably priced, delicious cakes!
