Solid food, attentive knowledgeable server, great decor, crowded and a bit loud but like a family party loud. It all made for an enjoyable and reasonably priced evening supper. The blue cheese dressing was delicious and the greens were crisp and cold. Yum! The French onion soup had a flavorful broth and the toast float with melted cheese presented a great visual. The teriyaki chicken reminded me of my mother's mock chow mein of my youth. Not everyone will catch this vibe. The Shore Lunch was the perfect up north style meal. I loved every bite of walleye, roasted fried potatoes with onions, and baked beans.

Excellent high end food at a convenient spot for a long journey. This place has a good strategic location, close to the freeway, and on a stretch between other major towns. The decor is modern and clean, with dark woods and black and white photography on the walls. The food would be at home in any swanky downtown area. The salmon cucumber salad was an excellent balance of flavors that was better than the sum of it's parts. The blackjack blue burger (blackened seasoning and blue cheese) was so tasty, I didn't even bother to add condiments. Even the kids fettuccini Alfredo was delicious. With burgers around $8, and entrees around $14, it's well worth the price. If this place was in my home town, I would add it to my list of regular haunts.

Minnesota fish plate, tasty sauce. Corn and potato very good.

This place gets good reviews for a reason. Stopped in for a late dinner. I had the Minnesota fish dish which was so tasty! My friend had the prime rib and it was like butter it was so good. They have a large drink selection, including local craft beers and specialty cocktails, and wine. Ambiance inside is very nice and wait staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. Also had the strawberry rhubarb crisp with ice cream which was extremely tasty and not overly sugared! Would eat here again!

Bean Town Grill is so good! I probably come here way more than I should but I've never had a bad experience. I always check out the lunch or dinner specials to see if anything catches my eye and every time I've ordered a special it has not disappointed. If nothing catches my eye for lunch or dinner the regular menu is always good too!

The bacon chicken salad with Raspberry vinaigrette. Very...blah

I'm going to start by saying I might just be a salad snob. My daughters (15 & 12) and I stopped here while traveling specifically for a salad. We were feeling bogged down from travel and needed some fresh, green food. The review about salad dressings being homemade made me think maybe the salads here might be a little more creative than standard American salad- which is what we were wanting. They were not. Honestly, Wendy's fast food joint has more creative, tasty salads. I'm not kidding. Even my 15 yr old agreed. We both ordered the Chicken Bacon salad with the Raspberry vinaigrette. Mine was sans the cheese and tomatoes. Which left lettuce, chicken & bacon. Yes, that's it. My daughter went with the honey mustard dressing and cheese and tomatoes on it. She didn't even eat half of it. I had a bite of hers thinking maybe it would taste better. Nope. It didn't. Considering the restaurant is considered a little more higher end, I can't believe how subpar the salads were. Really. Bummed.

Prime rib open face sandwich is fantastic. There is about 5 to 6 different flavors that come together to make up explosive taste.

Ate here for dinner. The food was good, prices are a bit high but for this area, it was not bad.
