It was so fun bringing my 6 month old daughter here and letting her taste some stuff. The food options are incredibly flavorful, unique, and healthy (some of them anyway lol). The coffee of course is quite good too and they have LOTS of options. The atmosphere is very cool too. Kinda feels like you're at your wealthy friend's house. It is expensive, but well worth it for the experience.

    Carmel macchiato and pumpkin deliciousness

Jailyn was absolutely amazing! Her customer service was perfect and she was so patient with our order. We bought so many gifts for our sister. The coffee is amazing, and the pumpkin "bar" taste delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

I am so happy I found this place. I was in Burlington for three days and I ate lunch at Beancounter all three days. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The location was clean. I enjoyed eating outside in the area they have out front. The decorum of the coffeehouse is dog friendly and artistic. I do not drink coffee so I cannot comment on how good their coffee is. However, I had an herbal tea, and it was delicious. If I am back in Burlington I am heading to Beancounter.

Wow, what a hidden gem. My wife had a Grilled Chicken Wrap and I had a Asian Chicken Salad. Great portions and the tastes are even better. Will be back definitely.

Very nice place to sit and relax with some coffee and a snack/light lunch. All of their bakery items are home made and delicious.

Very nice repurposed old building. Friendly service. Blueberry pound ale to die for. Vanilla latte was perfect for the chilly day.

Our friends got the fish & chips and they loved it. The batter looked very crispy and our fries were on point. Megan served us and she was very friendly and attentive. They've made upgrades to their menu and I think that their food options are getting better each time we return. We've also tried their Som Burger which is tasty and their Birria Tacos -- good but could use a little more seasoning. Overall, we love The Som and highly recommend them!

The positives are the décor and atmosphere. Lamps softly light the tables, and there's comfortable seating suitable for parties of any size. Service was a little slow, which I attribute to how busy it was, but the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the drinks were awful. The Long Island tasted like a premix, and the rum and Coke was watered down with too much ice. I ordered the butter chicken--it was filling but very bland. My lady ordered the birria tacos, which were extremely dry and unsatisfactory. Overall, this wasn't a good experience, and I'll be skipping this establishment the next time I'm in Burlington.

This location opened about a year ago and it…read morealways looked so busy we thought we would go somewhere not as busy when we went to town for lunch, until last Thursday when it looked less packed. The service was friendly, and fast. The overall surroundings were nice and 'homey', and everything was clean. After you order they give you a thing to put on your table and then they bring your order to you. Didnt have to wait long and a nice young man came by with our food. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and lattice fries meal for less than ten bucks. For this area, that is a good price for lunch. I dont remember if there was lettuce and tomato on the sandwich so I will pay closer attention next time. Fresh bun, good flavor on the chicken, and good spice level. The lattice fries were really good and salted just right. I couldnt figure out the ketchup at first, as it comes in a little plastic cup that you either pull the end off to squirt or peel the top back to dip. Same type of container for the chicken dipping sauce. These types of sauce containers make it hard to utilize all the ketchup or sauce. The pop was good. I wish there was a fountian where you could go back and get more, as the amount of ice in the drink seems to limit how much drink you are actually getting. The bathrooms reminded me of what you would get in a fancy hotel, from a design, cleanliness, and overall layout and function. Really impressed with that. Only suggestions would be to have fountain pop for refills, and have the condiments (maybe just the K and M) where the customer can squirt them out as needed. My coworker pointed out that the menu options are not a mile long. But I think we both agreed that they have figured out how nail a collection of items, and deliver a quick quality meal. I am going back, I am interested in consistency, how is it when they are busy, and is the service and quality the same from day to day. One thing I must add, is that if you want to replicate the chick fil a at home, get the red back chicken from aldi and, and get the dipping sauce they make. Aldi also has a bun that is the same. Makes me wonder if the chicken Aldi sells comes from the same people that make the chick fil a. It is that similar.
