Good food for the extreme east side with not a lot of choices out here. I like to support locally owned restaurants and ordered a lot of take out here during COVID. Brought my son and husband for Father's Day. The restaurant was sweltering hot-- the employees were sweaty. Needless to say it wasn't pleasant and we were quick to box our pizza and go. I hope they figure out how to make it nice--in past it wasn't so awful to eat there in spite of the awful metal chairs that are so uncomfortable. read more

Just left from Bear Canyon Pizza-if you have allergies to animals this is NOT the place for you to come to eat. Directly behind me and directly to my right both tables had medium to large size dogs 'communicating' with each other and eating scraps off the floor - gross. I'm not used to this in any eating establishment as a norm-maybe for service animals. Does the local health code ordinance permit this? NOT COOL- Rather disgusting. Noted however at each table were very prominently marked and detailed instructions for people with children on how to supervise/control their children. I don't know if the waitress had hit the ganja but when she rang me up she didn't coherently provide much in the way of recommendations as far as what to order, mixed up the 'special, -I've been here before and the wait staff then seemed more cleaned up, proactive and positive-I don't know if it's starting to go downhill with my experience tonight. Someone earlier mentioned the quality of the taste of the ingredients- while they provide many ingredients I affirm *those* do not take the place of flavor and this place is in the bottom half of Tucson pizzerias. My table was covered in crumbs and empty drinking utensils. Bear Canyon Pizza has some potential however they need to shake them selves loose from some of the things I mentioned and get with modern times if they want to be anything other than a grungy place. read more

what a wonderful experience I had last nite at the pizzeria and garden outdoor bar with live music . even though it was packed to capacity the staff and waiters displayed outstanding reserve . i would suggest this be a place to bring your pet and children there are multiple options for the kids and their are dogs everywhere if you are a pet owner you know how hard it is to bring your best friend out and enjoy the joy time together read more

Hands down the best pizza place on the north east side. The pizza options are immense and we love the New York style crust and flavor. The better part is all the beers on tap. This place always has a rotating selection of at least 12 beers on tap from craft breweries all over the country. We love this place because it is great for kids. My boyfriend has a few grand kids who visit and we always seem to choose this place. They have an outdoor patio with a play center and indoor play corner for kids too. Since my group often meets in the area I have been here more than a half dozen times, and I am somewhat resigned to this culinary purgatory. Ok, The good: Beer selection. If you can't find a beer you enjoy here maybe you should move on to wine. The ambience is relaxed and open. The meh: The pizza. Sorry, huge slices aren't better than quality ingredients and preparation. It falls in the bottom half of Tucson pizza places. The kinda sad: The limited selection of sandwiches are again very big, but somehow lacking in YUM units. Even the counter service seems a bit confused and erratic - as in, who knows when and in what order the food will be served. In the end it seems there is a lack of attention to the food side of the establishment. For instance, the last time i was there the chicken on the chicken parm sandwich was not cooked through and the fries had half-cooked ones throughout the large pile served. I mean c'mon, how hard is it to pull a frozen chicken breast and fries from the freezer and fry them long enough to cook through. read more

I have had 2 not bad but HORRIBLE experiences at BCP. First time I order a salad and Fettuccine Alfredo to be delivered. Estimated arrival time 35 minutes, it took them 1 hour 40 minutes and 2 phone calls to get it delivered. I vowed to not use them again. My husband said let's go have pizza at BCP it will be fine. Ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and 1 pepperoni, after 40 minutes they brought 2 slices and number 3 never arrived. My husband got a refund for the undelivered slice and now I am SURE never to give this establishment my business. They seem to have an army of employees to no avail because service sucks also overpriced. NEVER AGAIN! read more

We relocated to Az from Houston and I'm always looking for recommendations on good places to eat. My coworkers raved about this place so I had to check it out. My husband and I ordered the Bar-B-Q pizza and drove from Fairfield and Rancho Vistoso to try this pizza! Let me tell you it was so delicious!! The atmosphere here is open, friendly, and inviting. They're not short of seats, and when I came here it was packed. Customer service was friendly and food was good. I had to get extra cheese on my pizza for it to seem like enough, and even with extra cheese it seemed like a regular amount, which kind of made me sad since I really like cheese! Ingredients were fresh and food was cooked with just the right amount of crisp. I spent about $30 on 2 slices, 2 fountain drinks + an appetizer. That was probably the most I've paid for a couple of slices. But these slices were huge. About half the size of a medium pizza. Was worth it for the experience but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here unless I was on that side of town. read more

One large pizza with three toppings comes out to more than $30. That is fucking ridiculous. For that money, we could go to Serial Grillers not 2 Miles away and get a fully loaded 20 inch pizza, with money left to spare. But for the money, you could certainly do worse. read more

The pizza is 5-star, but the restaurant's format is no good. The servers don't come to your table - any time you want something, you have to go stand in line at the counter. Both times I did so, I waited ten minutes (partly because the staff could not figure out how to operate the cash register). So, if you want another beer or appetizer, you have to interrupt your conversation, leave your table and wait. It's really cumbersome. I can't imagine doing that for a large party! This pizza place is in my neighborhood so we have been getting our pizza there since shortly after they opened. Service used to be great dine in or takeout. Since COVID we have been getting takeout, service and food quality has slipped a little each time. Tonight I was very disappointed. Pizza of poor quality and even though I was there before the time for pick up, I waited 15 minutes past time of pick, up for my food to be brought to my car. This place was amazing! The calzones we got were HUGE and soooo good! They had an awesome selection of craft beers, it reminded me of the address at 1702 pizza and beer. Except way better and on the east side. They were helpful in helping me choose a beer I wanted as well. The only thing I regret is making my own Stromboli. Finally, someone has decided that the far northeast side was worthy of a solid beer and pizza joint! My parents live out in this neck of the woods, so it's nice to have some quality places popping up nearby where we can meet for a bite and a drink, or just a place with decent food that also delivers to the folks who live out here. It's super family friendly and can accommodate a fairly large party - which is nice for people like me, who have a ginormous family. Kids are kept happy with pizza and mac n cheese, and us parents/grandparents are kept happy with delicious "grown up" food and a great beer selection. I thought the prices were fair, especially if you order a whole pie. Individual slices are more than you'd pay at some other pizza places, but the slices here are HUGE and for many will be a stand alone meal. This would be a fun place to watch a game, too. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items. For those of you who grew up in this area and mourned the loss of Round Table (yep, I was one of them!) please give this place a try! read more

Found this spot on Yelp. Ordered home delivery 2 weeks ago. Liked it so much went to the restaurant's soft opening this week. As far a Tucson Pizzerias go, this Bronx Sicilian kid approves. One suggestion, ask for extra thin extra well. The dough: well made, chewy, good taste and crust is bubbly and crisp. The sauce: Tucson sauces are always too sweet for me. BCP does it right. It's savory without the bitter bite of an under stewed tomato sauce. The cheese: Most often falls short. Not here Toppings are plentiful. The beer choice is unique local and cold. Great new place for us to try close to Mt Lemmon. After a long day of climbing my husband and friend stopped here with the dogs. What a kewl spot. They have local wine and beer on tap. Dog friendly patio, which the patio was huge with a small kids playground. The cheese bread appetizer was good. We had a large half sabino Popeye and half three cataracts. Be warned three cataracts is hot and spicy. What tasty food. The service was great and very helpful. We will be spending more trips here for sure. read more

Just what this area needed! Solid local business with good food and fun facility. With two little kids, the play areas both inside and out mean I can get a few minutes to myself while they play - not to mention it saves the "I'm bored!" dialogue while we wait for the food to arrive. It's not cheap, but it's good and quality so worth the price. TVs, casual, hip. Love the paintings of downtown Tucson, and all the other Tucson themed decor. Best part is the craft beers on tap. I had never been to this restaurant, however, my girlfriend and two little girls had and said they liked it. Overall experience was good. This is a counter order restaurant and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. We sat and waited for the food to be delivered. We watched the NFL game while our girls played in the closed off play area outside, which was really cool actually. They had a good time. I ordered their Buffalo Wings extra crispy, and the Breaded Cauliflower nachos. My girlfriend ordered the Capri salad and my girls had the cheese bread. Good came out in a timely manner and was hot. The wings were very good and extra crispy as ordered. The sauce was sufficient but not bathing the wings. Blue cheese was as expected. The cauliflower nachos however left a lot to be desired. There very very large chunks of cauliflower, breaded and deep fried, then covered in the tomatoes etc. The problem is, they were nothing like nachos. The second you grabbed one of the cauliflower pieces, none of the "accessories" stayed at all. So it was more like a basket of breaded huge cauliflower and some toppings. I love the idea and I think If they think of some other ways to do it, it could be a hit. The kids ate the cheese bread no problem and seemed to enjoy it, and the portion was great.
