Oh gosh, I'm just not the "membership" kind of person. It's a lovely facility, but the air is pretentious and unwelcoming. You've got your clickish groups and the all day people but unless your ESTABLISHED, THEY KNOW YOUR JUST VISITING. Nice facility, but I'll pass. read more

My job had an end of the year celebration here at the Club House. Our waitress and waiter were attentive. I ordered the build your own omelet with a side of hash browns. I loved the complimentary raisin bread. I had no issues with parking. read more

Played this course as a guest. We were met in the parking lot with a cart and they loaded our bags on to the cart for us. Went over to the driving range....comped driving range balls, all you want hit away lol. Nice course in winter conditions. Fairway grass was painted green...very flat. Greens were in great condition and very fast. Nice quiet day nobody pushing behind us and nobody in front of us. Very tough course but forgiving. The course is very rewarding if you shoot straight. Clubhouse is nicely decorated and restrooms have shavers, just about any hygiene need you may have. Sorry Jen G no pics, my bad. read more

I received a free round from a friend who had won it at a charity tournament elsewhere. When contacting the pro shop to schedule we had to explain and send a copy of the certificate as there was some confusion at first. However, once we were confirmed and arrived, everyone was extremely courteous. The staff was helpful and extremely understanding that two hacks had somehow managed to gain access to this great private course. The starter Teddy was fantastic and helped explain the course layout as there are no markers or signs at the tee box indicating the hole number. I understood the was because most who play here already know the course and don't need directions! Haha! Facility was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the course as it was very well kept. Literally not one area of the course was un maintained. Everything from the greens to the rough was manicured and created a very great playing experience. If given the opportunity to come again, I wouldn't hesitate. read more

Non Member Complaint) I went golfing here today with an employee/member of the golf course. Unfortunately the staff took the word of a long term member over others. In a short story, we were asked to leave the course due to pace of play. We were playing in front of a member who was a part of a 4 some, due to their rate of play they were going to slow for the "pros" behind them and filed a complaint. We were finishing up hole 12 and did not see this member at any other point of the day and were actually 10-15 minutes ahead of these members. Wish I had the names of these members due to the disrespect that was received by them. I am writing this complaint due to the disrespect received by these members and also the way the situation was dealt with. We were asked to leave the course with no questions asked based on what they heard from their "member". I will not support this golf course in the future, not based on the condition of the course but based on the manager as well as the "members" they have on this course. I hope many of you enjoy this course because it is a very well maintained course. And I hope none of you deal with the members that are apart of this course. Very judgmental, (quote from a member) "you don't have anything on me, I have been a member here for 30 years". As I was leaving I recorded a video of the 4 some of members who started this issue. And they were in fact the issue that was reported, the "professionals" behind them were waiting to hit into the green based on their rate of play. In conclusion, the situation was dealt with very unprofessional and I hope none of you have this experience while playing at this course. Thank you. After reading more reviews, sounds like there has been on going issues with this course based on their members and possible the same member. Hopefully this is fixed because I will not support or recommend this course in the future. read more

I recently joined a member here at bear creek. My excitement started as I drive on Clinton Keith road driving in and saw the gate community it was located in. I checked in at the gate and was waived thro to the clubhouse by a friendly guard. As I turned onto the main drive I saw the beautiful practice facility located adjacent to the clubhouse, as well as the 18th closing hole with a lake. Once I parked, I was met by a member of the staff who came our immediately To my car, and loaded my clubs onto the cart. After checking in and meeting the friendly members of the staff, I warmed up on a beautiful driving range. Add to it the rules that no one is allowed to talk on cell phones on the range, and I was in heaven. Then the round began. I cannot say I did not play one hole that wasn't beautifully layed out. The holes are surrounded by beautiful oak trees, and is maintained immaculately. The greens are just perfect. The round was magnificent! After the round, I met some of the staff including the gm max, the beautiful Julie, and several other members of the staff including Andrew in the pro shop. If I forgot anyone, please forgive me. Overall, I would encourage anyone that wants top notch treatment, a beautiful golf course, a fully stocked pro shop, a world class driving range, and fine dining (which I didn't even cover in this review) to join bear creek country club. read more

Came here for Bingo Night and Dinner. Did not Win! Boo! But had a total blast. The buffet was good. Full of fresh crisp, salad greens; attractively displayed on a gorgeous bed of crushed ice with fresh orchids, fresh sliced fruits, nuts and cheeses. A nice rice pilaf and chicken Kiev. The drinks are always nice and strong at the club bar and the Bear Creek golf course is well - Bear Creek - GORGEOUS! The greens are manicured to perfection and the flowers are lovely. read more

Played a shotgun tournament a couple of weeks ago. This course is inside a housing community and they stopped every car on the way in to check Id. This isnt Brentwood guys no one is coming down here to gawk at celebrities; just here to play in a charity tourney. Well we got in 45 minutes later. Shotgun was an hour late getting off because no one could get in. Amazing driving range; probably at least a football field wide. They only opened up 8 mats for us to warm up on, like 100 guys wanting to hit balls. We expressed our disappointment to the staff who couldn't care less. We won't be bringing our charity tourney back anytime soon. Too much arrogance and disrespect for us. That being said the course was very nice. I wish I could be writing more about the positives but that was about it. Just got a nice message from Chris C who lives in this golf course community. It was him taking a leak off the 10th green. LOVE coming to golf with my dad and two brothers at this location my dad actually works at this location and we like to come once in awhile to golf and I believe it's absolutely beautiful I enjoy the view and how relaxing and quiet it is. I like looking at all the nice houses and green grass and trees. Everyone there is nice and makes sure you have what you need . read more

We recently had our daughter's Quinceanera here at the club house. The events planner Allyssa Madison was amazing she was professional, patient and always so helpful I can't thank her and the staff for creating a beautiful evening for our daughter. I would recommend and come back again if I ever have another event. You will not be disappointed with booking this venue. They truly transformed this venue into magical place on her special day. I recently came here for a family event and I have to say the automoshere was bad. When we first arrived everything was very nice, the golf course was beautiful so we were thinking what a great day this will be... unfortuntly that wasnt the case. After parking we off loaded our gift and the recept for the gift flew out of my hand, I had my baby in my hand and couldn't go running after it when a car stopped and asked me if I would be going after it? Umm sorry no its across the parking lot and out of site. He was very snooty and rude. After that we went inside and right away my husband was asked to take his hat off because they do not allow any hats. Which was very odd to us because there were several people around wearing hats. When we asked why a near by lady was ok to wear a hat they said only woman could, ok still we weren't arguing and complied until a group of men walked in all wearing hats and not one were asked to remove there hat. After that there excuse was "that" group was permitted to wear hats. ok so let get this straight first you say only wemon can wear hats then only that group , huh I think it was more anyone that wasn't Hispanic. Our famly felt very discriminated against. Rules are rules and if thats there policy no problem at all but they need to enforce it with everyone not just Mexicans. That's called discrimination. I would not recommend this place or ever go back. read more

Love the golf course and the golf staff. Justin and Tami the bartenders are great, just to name a few. But the weakest link is the food. They need a dedicated chef who also doesn't work as the F and B manager. One person should never do both jobs. read more
