Although we didn't stay at the hotel, we went to The Springs Resort everyday we were in town. An afternoon soak was just what our muscles needed after spending the day on the slopes. We relaxed, shared stories and laughs while sipping tasty wellness drinks ("shroom shrubs") and cocktails in the healing hot springs. The outstanding service really elevated our experience. Our server, Matthew was exceedingly friendly and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed--including food and drink, took a few group photos, and even let gave us tips as to what springs were best for watching the sunset. Our server Micaela was also excellent, joking with us and making us feel spoiled! I would recommend visiting The Springs in Pagosa to anyone! It was a wonderful way to unwind & catch up, in the relaxing springs while surrounded by beautiful nature! #goodvibes #warmestregards #thesprings

Overpriced and absolutely not worth it. Spent over $600 for a Wed-Friday stay. Plus the Wild Finch…read morecafe which is $310+ for a meal with dessert for 2. Savannah at front desk is rude and probably thinks it's her house. She knows what happened. Not very sure on returning but the soak was great. Employees are obviously with a toxic management since you can see them not courteous and acknowledging. Will probably not come back as it is overpriced for a quality of 50%. $1000 for a 2 day is robbing you blind with a very low quality room and service.

Our appointment time…read morewas 3 pm but we were informed we could come any time after opening, 10 am and use the pools until closing. We enjoyed the different pools on the ground floor even doing the cold plunge. Each pool is a different temperature to suit many different preferences. The roof has a sauna, hot tub and two soaking pools along with chairs. Our appointment came with a private room where we changed and stored our cloths. The room next to it was where we received our massages. The masseuse worked several knots out of my back and I felt wonderful afterwards, my wife said it may have been the best massage she has ever had. We then soaked in our private tub for an hour with two drinks and two bottles of water. This was truly a wonderful experience for out 20 anniversary trip.

We stayed at the Springs resort but randomly walked over to book massage 2 here and wish we had found Overlook sooner. Would rerun just for them . We opted for the couples massage. Jonathan CBD extra add on for couples massage was heaven! Probably top 2 in my life - amazing. Pam worked on my husband and she was fantastic. After the massages they let you soak in your own Hot Springs room - very cozy and private. You are given water and a choice of additional drink as part of package, and robes. Do not forget your sandals or water shoes as it can be slippery. The bathrooms - showers were very clean and spacious. Overall the trip here was worth every penny and would stop here again.

The cashier lent me 4 quarters for the lockers. I felt bad, but then she said they just come back out of the locker- I didn't feel bad anymore. The female only area had a sign for no cell phones. I decided to follow the intent of the sign, but still took my cell phone into the lounge area because I really wanted to read and my books are all on my phone. I did turn off my ringer so it wouldn't bother anyone else. The hot pool was magnificent I loved it. I loved how hot the water was. And that textiles were optional, after living in Europe. I loved the lounging area after coming out of the hot pool and feeling like a million dollars as my heart rate slowed down. The shared outdoor pool was just meh. I got a little chilly lying out and got a mosquito bite so reverted back to the private area again. Overall- I'd go back for the private pool. I could leave the big one.

While Pagosa Springs is not in the Aspen, Vail or Telluride category of Colorado mountain towns,…read moreits trails and various elements that lend to a certain uniqueness make it great for a short trip with visuals and activities that rival the luxe towns of the Centennial State. Wolf Creek historically gets the most snow in Colorado. If Pacific moisture collides with the rare Gulf moisture - watch out. A three foot dump is common. Well beyond the big, corporate resorts, Pagosa has remoteness nearby that is all its own. Lesser known gems are to be discovered, like Rainbow Springs and various points along the Piedra River and the largely uninhabited Hinsdale County. They are locales for the visitor to find on their own, since residents might prefer some places largely undiscovered by the masses to remain so. Club Wyndham is another jewel. Yep, I said it. Having stayed her twice for extended stretches, I like the place. It is quite simple, but spread out - perhaps the development was overbuilt back in the day - but you have ample territory to yourself. While the golf course (ran by another entity, I think) might need greening up, it would be convenient and is right out the door. Here's where this place really wins. The units are impeccably clean and well appointed. And if you need something else, the staff are on it. More Lavazza coffee? Sure. Another request? No problem. Most people would probably celebrate the price, so low, it's practically free. All in all, an impressive experience in value and service provided where there are quite limited lodging options. Would return.
