This place has never failed to impress anybody. Get the earlier things will be sold out absolutely worth the drive if you're not from here. Fresh baked goods & delicious food.

The food is always consistent! The biscuits and gravy are absolutely the best in San Antonio. Service is efficient, but sometimes feels rushed. I wish they had more indoor seating, but they do the best they can in their small space. There is PLENTY of outdoor seating on the porch or next door in the yard.

We stopped at Bear Moon Bakery for some fuel before our Enchanted Rock hike. We ordered the piggies, a cinnamon roll, and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The pastries were all delicious! The bread on the piggies and cinnamon roll was light and fluffy and tasted fresh. The broccoli cheddar soup was self-serve, and my only complaint is that it wasn't quite hot enough. We asked them to heat up our cup and they were happy to oblige and it was very good after that. For coffee, we ordered an iced honey lavender latte which had great flavor but was a little on the sweet side. We also ordered a hot salted caramel latte which was perfect! I like how it came out very hot and the sweetness level was just right. This bakery is super cute with great quality food and coffee. The price was very reasonable compared to other places similar to this. I can tell it's a staple for the locals, and we really enjoyed our meal. We'll be back if we are in the area.

After hearing such great things about this bakery from locals, my friends and I made it a point to visit during this trip to Boerne. The past three times I visited, they were closed. We ordered the following: - Bottled Water (get it yourself after purchasing out of the cooler) - Americano: Average americano served in paper cups. I personally thing mugs should be used for dine in coffee/ latte orders as paper cups changes the taste - Prosecco: Good, bottle that you get out of the cooler yourself. - Raspberry Bar: Good but average quality. Tasted like something I could get at my local grocery store. - Lemon Bar: Same as raspberry bar... just average One thing I really didn't like here was the service and level of casualness. As my friends and I were dining in, I really expected that cups, plates and silverware wouldn't be a big ask. When none of the above items were provided (for Prosecco and pastries), I asked for a champagne flute/ glass, a plate and forks. The woman behind the counter acted as though I was asking her for the world and asked if it was really needed and my answer was clearly yes. I am not going to drink Prosecco out of a bottle at a restaurant... that's ridiculous. After clarifying that to the woman, I was provided a paper plate and large soda cup. While I wanted to love this place, I really didn't care for it much and wouldn't return. Overall, it's a place for average quality goods and a poor experience.

    Turkey sandwich, so good!

Was finally in town while they were open, score! There is some street parking as well as a tiny lot in the back with a 2 hour minimum. The smells coming from the kitchen while walking past were phenomenal. My son and I had lunch there and I appreciated the toddler sized chairs and low tables they had in one area. We split a turkey sandwich, yum! And some kettle chips. The woman in the back saw us dining in and was so kind to bring my little one some watermelon, which he devoured. The pasty cabinet displayed a mouthwatering array of all kinds of yummy goodies. Cakes, pies, muffins, cookies, Danish..We thoroughly enjoyed each item we purchased. One plum Danish, one slice of apple pie, and one orange cranberry muffin. All of them were great but I have not stopped thinking about that cranberry orange muffin since I finished it. Will definitely be back soon!

All the wonderful pastries, cookies, and kolaches

The kolaches here are my favorite and have been for many years. This bijou bakery has the most delicious pastries and pies in Boerne town. The food is savory and delicious with just the right blend of seasoning that allows each unique dish leaving you absolutely satisfied. The tea concoctions are unique and perfectly prepared every time I've had the chance to stop by this Boerne gem. If you're into espresso try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Chicken Salad Croissant, 10 stars! (1-20-23, staff reports menu changes weekly)
    Shannon B.

Ordered the chipotle grilled cheese, the chicken salad croissant, and a "serve yourself" chicken noodle soup- all 10+ stars! The grilled cheese, made with Muenster cheese & chipotle jam was phenomenal with and w/out the side of homemade pickles and pickled onions. The chicken salad croissant was delish, and the soup was piping, burn-your-mouth hot! The ambiance was very cute with maps of old San Antonio hung around the walls. Only con about the cuteness of this cafe is the fact that the majority of chairs are higher than the small tables & desks around the place- so if you have a bad back, make sure to snag a spot at the high bar on the side wall or take your food to go. According to the staff, the brunch remains the same and the bottom half of the menu changes weekly. Highly recommend multiple visits!

They didn't even show any sign of annoyance from this whole event. I got nothing but smiles and welcomes! I heated it yesterday as suggested. The chef is very smart the way she rolls it. It is so soft and moist with just the right amount of sweetness, you would think that it would be overwhelmingly sweet, but it wasn't, it was perfect.
