Awesome Service Great Atmosphere Delicious Food. I'm not sure why so many negative reviews , this place is Delicious . Customer Service is awesome Everyone was really friendly . Manuel stood out the most he was friendly , he answers questions with a smile on his face. Parking lot is small but there's plenty places to park on the street. The toppings on the pizza was delicious I tasted every flavor, the cheese the pepperoni the mushroom was made perfect . I didn't really care for the crust it's to thin for me, I enjoy the top part of the pizza. The fried chicken was crispy had that crunch, pair it with their ranch . Now the best part of the meal : Potato wedges Right when you take that first bite it was like time freeze for that second. It was hot crispy & fluffy it was made perfect , seasoning. I highly recommend to try this place, you will not be disappointed. It's a must to get the Potato Wedges!!!

Not good , so where do I start, a few of the pizza were burnt , as you can see in the picture. I didn't take it back because the kids had already ate most of the pizza. The chicken was dry and rough. I can't complain about the potatoe wedges always on point. Sad to say this will be the last time I order from here. The only reason , I order pizza from Bear mt today was to help out the small local business. The $40.00 dollars I spent was a waste of my money .I should have just order a $ 7.00 pizza from little Caesar's . Next time ..

I customized my pizza with half mild red sauce and half spicy red sauce, topped with cheese, chicken, spinach, and pineapple. Then I drizzled a little BBQ sauce before baking and finished it off with a bit of ranch on top, absolute game changer. The pizza came out amazing. The balance of flavors was on point: savory, sweet, a little spicy, and super satisfying without being overwhelming. Shoutout to the employee working there, incredibly helpful and genuinely nice. He even hooked me up with a Mike's Hot Honey packet to try, and wow... he was right. A little goes a long way, and it added the perfect sweet heat to the slice. Finished the meal with a Reese's cookie. Didn't even need to eat the whole thing,I was already fully satisfied, which says a lot. Great food, great service, and definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Pieology is delicious, but they gotta stop being weird…read more They wouldn't do extra toppings since it will "mess up their inventory", but you can do a ton of different toppings; that's fine. Even if you offer to pay. Example: No double pepperoni allowed. Pepperoni and sausage? No problem. Just not two servings of pepperoni. That's crazy talk. Another one: No extra cheese... if it's the same type of cheese. If it's different types, all good. So double mozzarella? No. But mozzarella, shredded cheese, parm? All good, baby! Never had inventory get in the way of adding toppings to a pizza. But here we are. Next time I'm driving down to LA I'll remember to pack extra pepperoni. ‍‍ Great pizza. But don't be weird, Pieology!.‍‍

We all knew we wanted to find a Black Bear diner. Place was so clean. We were seated immediately and drinks arrived fast. Our server was Tausha. She was wonderful! We teased and laughed with her. If you stop there ask her about the guy that wanted the channel changed even though he was sitting in a different area. Our meals were all perfect! Not one mistake . Always had coffee cups filled and drinks. Thank you Tausha for great service today, and Black Bear for delicious food! Oh, and the servings are huge! The server was polite and seated me quickly since it wasn't very busy. I ordered an omelet, assuming it would be one of the quickest and simplest items to prepare. Instead, it took 40 minutes to arrive. Honestly, if I were at home, I could go to the grocery store, buy the ingredients, prep, cook the omelet, and clean up in that same amount of time. It was surprising--and frustrating--that it took so long, especially after I had to follow up to get my food. The omelet itself was very basic. They chopped and mixed avocado directly into it as a topping, which was unusual since most places serve it on the side. It was also extremely bland--no salt or pepper at all. The vegetables inside were lightly seasoned and had an okay texture, but nothing memorable. The hash browns were the worst I've ever had: slightly raw, oily, and soft. That's especially disappointing considering I cook frozen hash browns at home and they've never turned out this bad. The toast was fine and adequately buttered. I genuinely feel bad for the locals who eat here and, by doing so, encourage the business to keep serving subpar food to new customers. I won't be dining at any Black Bear Diner again--I'd rather get Panda Express or go to the Denny's across the street.

A solid pizza joint when visiting Wrightwood, CA…read more We spent a relaxing weekend getaway recently in Wrightwood. It was after the snow season with light crowds and locals. On our way up, we called in an order for pickup, and it was ready when we arrived in town. We ordered a few large pizzas and some hot wings. The Raccoon Special, Cheese, and Gourmet Pesto Pizza were all hot and delicious. They didn't skimp on the toppings. I was surprised by how stacked the Raccoon Pizza was and the amount of olives in the Gourmet Pesto Pizza. The hot wings were a good size, and the sauce was tangy and tasty. It also came with a couple of ranch dressing dip. The menu also offers pasta, calzones, salad, garlic bread, and more! There are no tables inside, but there are a few outside to dine at. The staff was kind and hardworking, quickly preparing orders. The prices are reasonable for the quality. They also have a variety of merch if you want to further support. Arriving for pick up, the building has a cool local vibe. I can also see this place being busy in the winter. I can't wait to grab a few more pizzas again or try more of the menu when he visits again.

I loved the artichoke and ham slices on the pizza and how you could choose two different crusts for a single pizza. The online menu was easy to order from. I liked the cheese islands on the cheese pizza. My picky toddler ate it which made me so happy. I liked that the pizza wasn't too saucy nor too salty. The bad: The pizza was a bit over cooked with some black burnt edges and a hardened crust. The salad dressing was packaged and not made in house. The interesting: Delivery orders take 45 minutes and takeout orders take 30. The prices are very fair and there are many menu options.

They set up the patio and had salads ready on the tables, plates, napkins, forks, and put out water and lemonade for us. The patio was sunny and cute with picnic tables and umbrellas. The pizzas started coming out almost immediately and everyone agreed the pizza was delicious!!! Top notch quality and salads were fresh and yummy. Living in a mountain community, many of us would love to have a local pizza spot we're excited to support regularly. Unfortunately, the pizza here feels very generic and lacks the care, flavor, and craftsmanship that make a pizza memorable. The sauce is bland, the crust lacks character, and the overall experience feels more like a frozen grocery store pizza than something made fresh in a restaurant. What disappoints me most is that pizza doesn't have to be complicated. Great pizza comes from quality ingredients, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the craft. Right now, it feels like the pizza is being made to fill an order rather than to create something people crave and come back for. This community deserves a pizza place that takes pride in its product. With more focus on flavor, better ingredients, and a little more love in the kitchen, I truly believe this restaurant could become a local favorite. I hope this review is taken in the spirit it's intended: not as criticism for criticism's sake, but as encouragement to raise the bar and create pizza that reflects the pride and character of our mountain town.
