It was National pizza day and I work in Lamont/Arvin area. My friend and I decided to go to Bear Mountain pizza for a quick bite. If you've never been in Arvin, you'd probably miss this spot. It's not fancy by any means, some might even say it's divey. The place is tiny with a few tables and probably mostly patronized by local residents. The server was quite nice and she made sure to replenish items from the hot plate like buffalo wings and pizza. The salad bar was lacking but at least this place actually had some veggie options. Again, nothing fancy but if you work in the area and looking to load up on carbs, you can eat all the pizza, wedges and wings you want for the lunch special prize of $10.99. read more

Awesome Service Great Atmosphere Delicious Food. I'm not sure why so many negative reviews , this place is Delicious . Customer Service is awesome Everyone was really friendly . Manuel stood out the most he was friendly , he answers questions with a smile on his face. Parking lot is small but there's plenty places to park on the street. The toppings on the pizza was delicious I tasted every flavor, the cheese the pepperoni the mushroom was made perfect . I didn't really care for the crust it's to thin for me, I enjoy the top part of the pizza. The fried chicken was crispy had that crunch, pair it with their ranch . Now the best part of the meal : Potato wedges Right when you take that first bite it was like time freeze for that second. It was hot crispy & fluffy it was made perfect , seasoning. I highly recommend to try this place, you will not be disappointed. It's a must to get the Potato Wedges!!! read more

Not good , so where do I start, a few of the pizza were burnt , as you can see in the picture. I didn't take it back because the kids had already ate most of the pizza. The chicken was dry and rough. I can't complain about the potatoe wedges always on point. Sad to say this will be the last time I order from here. I do not recommend this place I called four times at 5:30 in the afternoon on Monday and nobody answered it just kept saying that it was closed and frankly I know that's a lie. frankly I also heard that the food had roaches but I don't know because I couldn't even answer my call to place an order. I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews. The food here is great. Not a lot of parking space and it is a little pricey but well worth the $. Might be a little of a wait to get your order out because everything is fresh but it's definitely worth the time and money. These are my favorite potato wedges ever they are amazing!The staff is good always greets us and it's clean inside.The only other option in Arvin is Little Caesar's which is gross,even if you like Little Caesar's pizza the location here always messes the order,doesn't cut the pizza correctly... it's just a mess. I used to go to Bear Mtn Pizza all the time during the NBA finals and I always enjoyed myself. The pizza was always consistent and the beer was cold and crisp. The restaurant was always clean and a cool place to chill. Also, the customer service was decent! read more

I was raised in Arvin and Bear Mountain Pizza was a staple restaurant with amazing tasting pizza. We drove out to Arvin and had it and to my sad surprise it was terrible. They sadly changed their pizza crust and it is worst than frozen pizza. We will not be ordering from this "Arvin gem" ever again. read more

The pizza here, to me at least, tastes good but it's mainly due to the nostalgia I get. And I've just never been a fan of Little Caesars. Wedges and wings are alright but all-in-all pretty pricey when you compare it to other places in Arvin. To the majority of the Arvin population I'm sure they'll take Little Caesars and get 2 large pizzas for the price of a medium one topping here. Not as good as Rusty's but pretty close. read more

This is the second time I order from there the first time I ordered from there I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was really cold and it was really floppy like if someone had ordered it but they didn't want it anymore so they gave it to us. The quality has gone down hill. Ordered a pizza on Christmas. A large sausage and black olive. Arrived home and to our disappointment the toppings were pitiful and barely any cheese on it. Needless to say it will be a long time before I go back. Rusty's delivers to Arvin and much better. This used to be my favorite place to order a pizza from. As of lately their service and their food are hit and miss. My girlfriend always order the 3 topping special and sometimes it's good and sometimes it just lacks. For example, sometimes it has plenty of toppings and others there are hardly any cheese or sauce on my pizza. They do have a delicious pizza salad though! Also, great street tacos! Sometimes their potato wedges are great and others they lack the crispy breading that I think a good wedge needs. I gave 3 stars because of the hit and miss quality. read more

Well at 6:20pm I called for a update the lady put on hold for 5 min. This is some of the worst pizza I've had the displeasure of eating. The pizza is so uninspired. It's just a hunk of dough with barely any ingredients on it. The dough is one of the worst. This is absolutely the worst place. I called in a order for delivery. The girl said it would be about 30mins. An hours later I call to check on my order and wait on hold over 10 mins. I call back and tell them I will not wait on hold. I want to know where my order is. She tells me well we have 1 computer down and a line of people we have to help first, then she says there was 5 orders that went out mine should be on that order. Keep in mind she has not asked for my information. I say ok I will wait. I recently ordered pizza and hot wings from this place and I have to say I was very pleasantly pleased. The pizza was complete with all the toppings I ordered & flaky crust. It was hot and yummy. The extra cheese made it a delight. The hot wings were cooked well with plenty of sauce. Over the years my family has been regular customers. My parents and I especially enjoy the fried chicken. It is well-fried and always delivered hot with tons of potato wedges. This place continues to improve upon the quality of the food and the delivery time.
