I could write my entire review on just the macaroni and cheese. I've eaten my fair share of mac and cheese in my life, and this was the hands downs the best I've ever experienced. I've eaten macaroni and cheeses at restaurants that had fancy toppings and truffle... Yet, this one knocked all those out of the park. This macaroni and cheese was perfectly seasoned, cheesy, lightly browned on top and savory. The barbecue pizza was top notch as well, every bite was an explosion of deliciousness. I also appreciated how they had fun questions on their napkin disorders. Service was amazing, the lady running the show was so kind and graceful. They have a lot of indoor seating and outdoor seating, they even have the "cave" where you can watch the game. They have clean restrooms and great vibes. Looking forward to returning! read more

Came here again and the quality of pizza is very good! Such interesting options for type of pizza which I have not seen before at any pizza place! Great service the guy at the register is always super nice! Inside has a good amount of tables it was freezing though haha, luckily they have hot coffee. Definitely get's busier during lunch time. I was stuck out on the road yesterday evening and the owner of Caveman Pizza delivered two pizzas to our location. He delivered a pepperoni pizza, along with their delicious Baked Potato pizza. The Baked Potato pizza probably has to be one of the better pizzas I have ever had. I believe I have a spot on pizza recipe and this one matches that almost to a tee. It was absolutely divine, when it comes to a specialty pizza. I will definitely be making a trip up to Frazier Park, just to try out this pizza place, in person. With a little red chili flake, to go along with the sour cream, is a perfect combo. You just have to give it a try. There are a lot of specialty pizza places near Bakersfield and I would put Caveman Pizza, in Frazier Park, as one of those type of pizzas you are willing to make the drive for. I love this place. Always a solid "go to" for pizza and pasta. Ordered from the other pizza spot in town. They told me 30 min for my order. I was still waiting for them to start my order 45 minutes after being there. I called Caveys, they told me 15 minutes for the same order. By the time I left the other pizza place to get to Caveys, my order was ready and waiting for me. Always great customer service and is the job of Frazier Park. Great food and great people. read more

Walking into this establishment I found it very busy but orangized. The lady who served us at the register she is a tall Caucasian older lady with dirty blonde hair, petite, and short hair. She was very nice. Works hard and quickly. Although she was busy she put in two pizza orders instead of one. She was too busy, when we ordered. My uncle had ordered 1 pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Instead at our table we were served with 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The lady was too busy and must've ordered it wrong on her POS. But it's fine. Overall we enjoyed the pizza and the service. This place was great. This place is well worth the short drive off the 5 freeway. It is a family run place that has small town charm. It's the kind of place that supports little league teams and school PTA's. Where the person that takes your order is probably part of the family ownership. The pizza was fantastic. Hubs got the a sausage and pepperoni and I got a veggie pizza. Both were amazing. Fresh toppings, perfect handsl tossed crust and bubbly cheese. We sat outside (but they have indoor seating too) and enjoyed the evening weather. The napkin holders have conversation cards that we found delightful. More restaurants should do this. We started trading around the napkin holders just to find more questions. This spot is a gem. 10/10. Will definitely come back next time we are in the neighborhood. read more

Based on other reviews, we decided to try CC's Pizza during our annual PMC trip. Especially with PMC Pizza having sporadic hours and the phone is off the hook, it forced us to look into a Pizza place at Frazier Park. We called in at 4:15PM on a Friday to place an order for pick up. They clerk said the order would be done in 15-20 min. When we arrived, they realized that they had accidentally put bell peppers on one of the pizzas that we asked to remove. No problem. I understand these things happen. So we sat down and waited another 15 min until it was done. The place is a local favorite as it seems the workers recognize their "regulars". There was a patio with heat lamps where some people were sitting outside. Inside there wasn't anyone dining in. It mostly seemed like take-out orders. They sell pre-made brownies that were at the counter and they had a really cool looking coffee station. What was really disappointing was seeing that only 1 out of the 6 workers making pizzas was wearing a mask. Thank you my dude in the beanie wearing a mask. I hope it was you that made my order. So for the lack of mask policy for their own workers, I have to knock off a star. The pizza was delicious. We ordered 3 small pizzas for $45. 1 pepperoni, 1 combination (no bell peppers) and 1 loaded baked potato. The loaded bake potato was really unique and it was my favorite! I highly recommend it. I also tried the combination and it was pretty good. Their red pizza sauce base is seasoned just right. The crusts were perfection! Randomly stopped here on our way back home from Carmel. 2 large pizzas were around $65 so a bit pricey, but it tasted amazing! Made fresh and the toppings were fresh!
