I didn't try the crepes so I can't speak to those, but the cookies were good. I'm not the biggest cookie person so it's not somewhere I'll be running back to, but they definitely hit the spot. The shop is super cute on the inside... they offer ice cream, crepes, cookies and a variety of beverages. The staff was not super friendly or helpful. I asked what I thought was a simple question about their iced tea was it bottled, made in house, or from the fountain... she looked at me confused and said "it is from a tea bag but we don't like make it here" so we opted for bottled water and two cookies: the doodle bear and the chubby bear (chocolate chip) and the total was $15. We tried the cookies right away and were disappointed because they looked amazing. They were pretty flavorless and just not good... I don't see us returning. read more

I may or may not have very firmly asked my bff to "get out the snickerdoodle" at mile 18 of the Coeur d'Alene marathon. We had stopped in the afternoon before to try a couple of cookies. I intentionally saved one incase I wanted a sweet treat during the marathon. I can't eat much but I do enjoy a bite or two at different mile markers to help keep my energy up since I can never eat before a race. We tried the chubby bear classic chocolate chip cookie which was good and I had a bite of the sticky bear (snickerdoodle) and knew it'd be the perf amount of sweet to give me a little boost. After our first visit a month ago, I've been anxiously awaiting our next visit. As I stated before, this place is incredible and has some of the best cookies I've ever had. We ordered 4 cookies on this visit and while they are a little expensive at $5 each, they are so good I can look past the price. I do wish they had some discount for buying multiple cookies though. Back to the cookies. We ordered the "Chubby Bear" which is a 6oz thick chocolate chip, the "Sasquatch" which is peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chips and M&M's, the "PB Bear" which is flourless peanut butter and finally the "Beary Cobbler" which is white chocolate, cream cheese and fruit. We visited late last night, so they had stopped serving crepes at that point. But we tried a few of their cookies and they were outstanding!! The peanut butter cookie, the molasses cookie, and the maple bacon cookie were so thick and chewy, rich with flavor, and fresh! The staff was also super friendly as well!! Can't wait to come back to try their crepe offerings! Also if you're afraid of catching COVID, then don't come out of your house. Simple as that. I appreciate that this place doesn't enforce draconian mask requirements for their customers. Oh man, the cookie gods have heard my prayer. We were just walking around downtown killing time. I think we had decided to get ice cream but bear paw didn't have the flavors I was craving. My boyfriend decided instead of ice cream he would get a nice, warm crepe. They were out of bananas and strawberries so he opted for a peaches and cream crepe and omg it was delicious. The peaches were freshly sliced and so sweet, we could taste the summer through it. They were nearly sold out of cookies but they said they were getting a delivery shortly so I could wait while they restocked them. I got a s'mores and a chubby chocolate chip cookie and they were so freaking good!!! The s'mores one kind of tasted more brown buttery while the chubby bear was a soft cakier cookie. They were both so good I regret not getting more while we were there! I ate the other half of my chubby chocolate chip cookie two days later and the edge was kind of crumbly but the rest of the cookie still miraculously stayed moist! Others wanted crepes but opted for ice cream and then continued their day. Great customer service, good atmosphere and great food. Weird that a woman occupied a table for 6 using it as her personal office while people jockeyed for seating. If she's an employee, that's problematic.
