The diner we wanted to go to was packed, we wandered in here and have found possibly the best breakfast ever. I started with a latte and found that they use some amazing coffee full of flavor. I was a little worried about GF (not usually my favorite) but the waffles were perfect. The savory and sweet dishes were super flavorful with being overbearing. I give my experience a hesitant 4/5. Let's start with the good: a gluten free person's dream, everything on the menu will be an option for you. I had the sampler which is right up my alley, getting to try a bite of everything. Enjoyed 4/5 of the flavors! Really cute interior, convenient location to downtown activity. Time from entering the restaurant to food on the table was an hour, seems a little crazy for a waffle + topping situation. I think I'd almost prefer this as order at the counter and stream line the service time given waffles are casual. Inside was really loud even though it wasn't packed. My latte listed on menu for $6 was $7.50 and mimosa listed at $11 was $14... not sure if we missed something there? Was hungry pretty soon after, sampler really isn't enough for a meal. Yum. Like seriously a good solid plate of delicious food. I ordered simply, and honestly, I didn't need more. Yes there are plates here of food covered in frosting, whipped cream, and flavours galore, and the rest of the family loved them... I had simple and that's a wonderful unintended test of their food, and it was seasoned right, no salt or pepper needed. The service was also perfect, the server was awesome, energetic and attentive. The was covering a bunch of tables, but we got everything we needed quickly. I really wanted to like this place, and there are parts of it I loved and parts that are lacking. I ordered the sampler meal and the waitress said "it's a full serving" when really it's just small (and I do mean small) strips of the speciality waffles. It's about an inch wide by 3 inches long....hardly a mouthful. The waffles were good flavors, I really liked the cinnamon one, it was by far the best. Loved it! Took my DIL to lunch the other day and we had a really enjoyable time. We've been wanting to try this unique eatery for a while. It wasn't too busy and we were greeted by a friendly and accommodating wait staff. Nice choices on the menu and some monthly specials to choose from. I ordered the March special called "the shamrock " which had Peppermint and chocolate toppings on a 2 stack waffle. It was delicious. My DIL had "the Benny". She loved it. I got People's Waffle as a catered meal and really enjoyed it!! I can't speak on the service or ambiance but I can say that I really loved the classic waffle sandwich - I got it with egg, cheese and turkey bacon. You really can't tell that the waffle is gluten free and the flavors all blended together really well. The spicy syrup was also a lovely addition. Great breakfast sandwich. read more

Omg, I found my new breakfast spot for my Spokane trips. I'm in town somewhat often, and finally had a chance to try People's Waffle. Hands-down, best gluten-free waffles I've ever had. This place is super small, but cute, and constantly packed, so expect to wait, but it's totally worth it. I waited about 15 minutes for a table for one and was updated the whole time by the hostess on the wait time. She was so friendly and helpful. I sat at the bar top with two other customers, but I didn't mind. I ordered the waffle benedict, and the half order of the blueberry and strawberry waffle. The benedict waffle was slightly salty for me, but it might've been that I haven't had hollandaise in a really long time. I also thought the ham was just a little too thinly shaved, other than that it was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of hollandaise sauce. The blueberry and strawberry waffles were absolutely delicious! I knew I over ordered with the intent of having leftovers for the next morning. The benedict waffle tasted so great reheated, and strawberry and blueberry waffle were delicious ice cold. They were all perfect for a second serving. :) Overall, this place was affordable, clean, and delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you have gluten sensitivities or are gluten-free. I asked about the little disclaimer on the menu about them not being a certified gluten-free kitchen, and my servers response was, even though everything in their kitchen is gluten-free, some of the products they use are manufactured in facilities that are not certified gluten-free, therefore, they cannot get the "certified gluten-free kitchen" stamp of approval. I have celiac, and had absolutely no problems or reaction eating here. I absolutely will be back, and look forward to my next Spokane trip. Omg wow. What a great little hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot! The kitchen is 100% and EXCLUSIVELY gluten free, with some vegan options. Their waffles are light and fluffy which, in my experience, is hard to achieve with GF recipes. I ordered a "waffle-wich" and I think I it's my new favorite way to eat waffles! All their ingredients were fresh and delicious (you have to try their dairy free whip cream!). The staff was friendly and helpful, even the server who just started was amazing. People's Waffle has made our "must come back to" list. Also, we stayed at Hotel Indigo down the street (see my review for them on my profile), but it's a couple blocks away and very convenient for a quick and/or early breakfast! read more

I finally got a chance to stop by this spot mid- December. First, this spot was had super cute decor. I also love that they have sweet and savory options, I'm team savory though. So I got the Wafflewich and it was sooo tasty. The waffle had a crunch outside and soft inside. The bacon, egg and avocado paired excellently with this sauce. After the first half, it did get a little heavy. This would be perfect to share where one person got a savory and the other person got a sweet item. Latte was great for waking me up and pretty. I would definitely come back. Staff was also super friendly. Walkable distance from the Davenport hotels nearby but there is also street and parking lots available. read more

I'm allergic to gluten so I was delighted to find this Waffle restaurant while in town. My husband and daughter joined me and declared that they couldn't tell that the waffles were gluten free. All of them were delicious! I had a Strawberries + Cream waffle - yum! My daughter kept stealing from mine - I don't blame her. My daughter had Chicken + Waffles and she said it was delicious! My husband likewise enjoyed his Waffles + Gracy - he finished the whole thing. Our side of sausage patty was okay. My husband said he liked it but my daughter and I felt like the spices were too much and too salty. He wondered if we got bites that had too much of those because he said his bites were fine. So I popped over to this place on a quick overnight in Spokane. The space looked clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Tarimisu latte which was good and a strawberries and cream waffles with a side of bacon. Now if you like your bacon well done then you will love it but I personally like mine more medium. The waffles were good but the whipped cream had a weird grainy texture and was overly sweet. To be honest my issue wasn't really with the food my issue was with the bathroom. It was DISGUSTING. I will post pictures below but they don't even begin to show how filthy this place was. I'm sure some of you will say I'm being dramatic but I truly am not there was so much I didn't capture. I don't think it has been cleaned since they opened which then made me nervous because when was the last time the health inspector was there??? I think I'm going to start walking into the bathrooms of place before I order food from here on out. If you like champagne or cocktails with your waffles this could be the place for you- smaller waffles that look very artsy. They are pretty! The taste is ok- but I admit I'm pretty basic with breakfasts- I love a good smoked pork chop with my blueberry pancakes or freshly made waffles. Butter and yummy pure maple syrup and I'm good to go! This place is OK. If you haven't been and you want to try it out or someone else suggests it- it's not a Fail. Then you can decide if it's worth coming back to again and again. BUT it gets lower stars bc we ordered a bunch of waffles to go for an offsite brunch and: 1) they charged $48 for a "large group" fee despite the fact that we didn't dine in and a take out order shouldn't be subject to this forced gratuity. 2) they confirmed at pickup (bc we asked) that they had included butter, syrup, and napkins. There was one small container of syrup for like 15 orders of waffles, and very few napkins AND an entire order of waffles was missing. So we had to go back. 3) when we returned, one of the staff apologized while the other gave us dirty looks as if we had done something wrong. 4) overpriced for the size of the waffles. read more

Hands down the lemon blueberry was my favorite followed by the strawberry. Our server was great too. My only critical feedback--my iced vanilla latte was warm and the ice was practically gone. They have a variety of sweet and savory options, and we ended up ordering the sampler and the strawberry waffle. Please note the sweet waffles are really good, but very sweet. The sampler is a variety of five of the sweet flavors on a waffle cut up into five pieces. This was plenty enough to share. To maintain the cuteness of the waffle toppings, the waffle is not hot when it comes out. The service was very friendly, but what I did not appreciate was when I paid for the meal, they gave me three tip options starting at 20% as the lowest and 26% as the highest.
