Years ago, the city told me I had water running, so I called them to investigate. Mr. John came out and checked all my bathrooms. He honestly told me he didn't find anything wrong. Another company easily could have lied, cheated, and overcharged me, but he didn't. He even taught me how to check for leaks myself using the food dye method! While he was there, he also noticed my kitchen sink was loose, told me exactly what kind of screws it needed, and said he would have fixed it right then and there if he had the screws on him. Another time, I had a real emergency when my water heater pipe burst. The receptionist was very nice and tried to get ahold of Mr. John. She called me back to let me know he was unfortunately too busy to come out, but she gracefully provided me with the name and number of another trusted plumber. However, the drain situation was stressful. He repaired the drain but ended up half way through the installation telling me that he would have to go through my drywall in the other room. If I knew that he would have to remove my wall I would have NEVER had him replace the drain. This was not a scenario that he reviewed prior to start. I allowed him to finish because I did not want to be let with an inoperable tub. He said he would have a dry wall person come and fix the wall but he patched it up himself .
