I needed to replace all the windows on a rental I own, I am sooo grateful I came upon bear Valley glass! This company is the best in the high desert! When I first called I spoke with Debbie, she is fantastic so professional and so knowledgeable! She set me up with an appointment to have one of the guys come out and measure. He brought sample retrofit windows to show me exactly what they provide, he was respectful also very professional! When I got the estimate I was blown away! What a great deal. When Debbie was not available I would speak to her assistant over the phone. You can tell they have great communication! I forgot I mention to Debbie the tenants have a baby with respiratory problems and if she thought it was wise I ask them to leave. Sooo on Sunday 08/10/2014 at 2 AM some guy on meth decided to punch our glass window so hard he broke it and ran away with his hands dripping in blood... Since this happened on a Sunday I couldn't find any glass repair companies to come replace the glass or board it up so instead I had to clean it up and spend the night at the shop to guard it. Monday morning I call a bunch of companies, most of them didn't even call back, I'm guessing they only want the "big jobs" Bear Valley Glass and Vern's were the only ones that gave me estimates. Vern's price was $408 for the glass and installation and they would not get it done till Thursday because they'd have to special order a glass panel that big. Bear Valley Glass price was at $285 also to special order the glass and have it installed by Thursday BUT they also gave me the option to pay an additional $65 for somebody to drive down the hill to pick up the glass panel and install it NEXT DAY The installers came in measured everything, and less than 24 hours later they were here installing it all for a price 15% lower than competitors and twice as fast, the installers were super nice they even bought some food and drinks. read more

I shopped around at just about every glass place up in the high dessert for about 3 weeks and after all my homework, bear valley was the best price. I'm huge on yelp reviews and after noticing their positive reviews it was a go. I ordered my glass shower door. My installer Jose is very informative and assured me that it would look great and suggest a very nice colonial style door handle. Even with the better hardware they were still way below the other quotes. I want to say they probably saved me around $500 dollars off the other higher estimates.
