At first, the quotes were kind of surprising but based on prior recommendations from staff we hung in there. WOW! You will be impressed with Vern's Glass. Their repair man was on time and very courteous, even during the high traffic parts of the day when a bunch of students were entering and leaving the school site. They not only repaired the items on the original work order but threw in a new door felt at no charge. All of the staff that have used the doors say they are better than new. I called Vern's when we were in a crisis. My moms Slider Door had been broken by someone throwing a boulder threw it. They were out within hours to board it up And give an estimate. This is an amazing company. I just had all my windows upgraded to double pain. Even though they had a shortage on installers they still kept my project on track. Adam is great, he installed all the windows including an over sized slider by himself. He is very professional, fast and even made sure to clean up the debris. (This review is for my experience thus far, I'll update after install). When the other glass company disappointed me (see reviews) I called Vern's and a very pleasant and polite lady took my call. She took the time to listen carefully to my needs, and then set a same day appointment for measuring my broken window. She told me someone would come around 3 PM and if someone could come sooner, she'd call me. At 1:45P I received a call while I was at Home Depot, they were at my house. I apologized for not being there, explained it would take about 10 minutes and then rushed home to let him in. When I arrived the gentleman was very understanding to me being late, I was sure to express my apologies. He said "I'm always on the go, I was nice to catch a short break":). He quickly measured my window and was off. Nice guy!!! Within what seemed like 15 minutes Adam called and gave me the quote!! WOW, talk about efficient!! On the stormy morning I accidentally broken the glass door to our wood burning stove. At first it appeared the wood burning stove would be out of commission for a week if I ordered the glass from the stove manufacturer. It was suggested to have the glass replaced by a local glass shop. After making a few calls, I decided to use Vern's Glass Shop. My house was broken into on Friday morning they came and gave us a quote right away paid them in FULL told me they would have the window replaced on Monday well it's now Wednesday still no damn window! I called on Tuesday they said ohh sorry we will have someone out there on Wednesday 10a. It's now 12p on Wednesday no one has came or called. I called them and guess what!!! They forgot! WTF! I paid all this money still have a front broken window and no damn window fixed! Worst customer services ever!!!!!!! They are send out someone "right now" let's see what time they really show up! I had Vern's glass do a custom glass countertop for my oval shaped table. It was very good to start but wasn't quite perfect they came back made some adjustments free of charge.
