We saw the results of their work on social media and actually contacted the company to see if we could observe an ongoing project and it's results. They were excited to show us and we were very impressed with the work and finished project. We initially wanted to do a traditional hardscape using landscape flagstones and gravel. We went through several contractors for suggestions and estimates and found some good leads but the cost of the work varied based on the quality and variation of stone. We had heard about artificial turf blended with landscape stones and loved the way it looked. We were initially hesitant because our mindset towards artificial turf was outdated. Thoughts like quality of material, hot turf in the summer and longevity of materials didn't appeal to us. We quickly learned that advancement in the artificial turf industry including material and the warranty and life expectancy of the product sold us. We absolutely love the brand and design of the turf they installed. Blake and Spencer came out and listened to our thoughts about the landscaping. They offered several different options including many that we had not thought about. We actually went with a design they offered that not only looked better than we imagined, it was less costly than we thought it would be! During the work, both Spencer and Blake showed up to monitor their crew, check on the progress and to make sure we were informed and happy with the work. After the job was completed, they took us on a thorough walk around and made sure we were completely satisfied with the finish work. Even while the work was in progress, they were open and flexible to minor changes we wanted at the last minute. It's hard to find solid, reputable companies for landscape work. Artisan Turf made this a seamless and enjoyable process. Attention to detail, great work ethics, delivering as promised and doing all of it at a very reasonable cost was a solid plus and this company delivered as promised. We are very happy customers. Spencer and Blake told us early on that their reputation is directly linked to the work they provide. They did not disappoint. Therefore, we have no manufacturer's warranty on the turf, because they never used the money we paid them to pay for the turf. This company is very dishonest!

We had pet turf installed in February. I have mixed reviews. Installation was pretty good, however…read morethere was a lack in communication. There was also a lack of communication after having it installed. Since having it installed, we have 2 issues. 1st of all, we have a lot of grass growing up between the turf. And 2nd, since it has gotten hot, the turf is really hot. And I know they put down the cooling stuff. But in the afternoon, when the sun is on the yard, our dog doesn't want to go potty because it burns her feet. We didn't think we would have to deal with those 2 issues especially after paying what we did. The positives are my dogs don't get as dirty and my floors stay cleaner.

I also was told the soonest Scott could come out was in three weeks. On the day of the appointment, I called to confirm the appointment window and the office assistant confirmed that I was scheduled for a 3p to 5p window. Had to leave work early to meet the window (not a problem, planned it in advance). Scott never showed up. Waited until 5:30p before calling to get an update, but the office was closed and I was directed to Scott's voicemail by the automated answering machine. Left a voicemail. I called back first thing the next morning to explain the situation and the office assistant took my phone number so she could call me back after talking with Scott. I never heard back. I called one more time the next business day and left another voicemail. I still have not heard anything back from Scott or the office assistant. It really sounds like Scott and his team do great work, but I have not experienced the prompt or courteous responsiveness that others have. I understand that things happen sometimes, but a business should always communicate with its customers when a scheduling issue arises. ***************************** UPDATE Scott called me personally this morning to apologize for missing the appointment last week. The lack of communication appears to be due to the office logging an incorrect area code on my phone number. My subsequent calls alerted the office to the error. I'm giving Scott and his team the benefit of the doubt and we are going to try to meet again tomorrow. Upgrading my review to a 3s for now.
