3 years of being a bigger person and I have reached my limit with Beardmore Chevrolet service and their Hyundai sales department. Background info May 2022 I had been eyeing a 2018 Acadia Denali listed for $36,500 on the website that was metallic purple undertone. I called to ask if it was available still and we headed to look at it. Brianna Serrano was the salesperson I spoke with on the phone and continued with after arrival. My first words were it looked different in the pictures as I drove into the lot to a Black Acadia, running ready for the text drive. She asked my name as we walked in and took us right out after 2 minutes for the test drive. The rims were trashed and minor interior issues. We tried to negotiate after a normal test drive. Slapped with the " certified pre owned, can't be negotiated" line. I had an off feeling I didn't listen too. She took us inside and retrieved the auto check on the vehicle. It clearly states 1 owner, no accidents, as I still have the paper copy from then, on surface level it seemed like a good deal. She ensured me the owners just brought it back prior to me coming in. As they were driving the car and loved it. After buying the car outright, as well as a 2 year/100,000 mile limited power train warranty that I would be thankful for in the future. They gave me a key and said there was a second set I could pick up from them another day as the owners still had it. After back and forth they couldnt find the key had me bring it in to beardmore Chevrolet service for another key, free of charge for the inconvenience and a $100 service credit. June 11th 2023, the transmission is shifting hard under load and we scheduled our appointment at the service department the next day. We dropped it off waited a day and got the confirmation the transmission needed replaced. Due to the warranty we only had a 100$ deductible and used the service credit. The only issue was there were no loaners available and I waited on the list for the entirety of the repair. They told me I was getting the only transmission available in the country. After going to pick up the vehicle they told me the warranty I purchased was now a 1 yr guarantee warranty. Sure enough the transmission went out again nearly 11 months later on June 19 2024. We tow it back in for service they diagnosed it went along with the repair. After the work was done they called me to approve a gas charge so they could do the test drive. And said I could pick it up shortly. I received a call I couldnt pick up the vehicle because the transmission was still acting up they ordered another transmission and start all over. Again no loaners waiting on a list. After calling for updates 1-2 times I was able to pick it up on July 5th right before close. I went to pick it up and after I walked out to the car they locked up behind me and my dash is lit up like a Christmas tree. ABS, traction control, stabilitack, and tire sensor lights were all on and I no longer had AWD. ​​After doing our own research and getting second opinions before taking it back to them a 4th time ,just to get slapped with a large bill. We took it back Jan 2024 for the lights expecting them to offer some sort of solution. They quoted to buy it back for only 15,000. Tried to sell me on a hub and said the mechanic "cleaned it up"and wanted us to replace. The last time I left spending more than 600 in parts and labor. They can't own their mistakes when installing the 3rd transmission. They have been pulling wool over our eyes and when we have called to complain and speak to the shop supervisor we are told they will call us back on a time to come in for a meeting and never called us back. Lastly I was in an accident that was reported. In checking we found two accidents had been reported. We didnt belive it and pulled out our paper work. Hmm one owner, no accidents. Less than a year and a half later my lights all popped back on since getting the car back after Jan 2024. So I took it for an estimation for trade and were then again assured two accidents were reported. There is more but this book is already too long. Be careful and do not do business with any beardmore businesses. read more

I would highly recommend, Brianna and her manager Tyler were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to go over the history of the vehicle with me. Just bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe SEL Premium from Brianna Serrano. It was a great experience. She was very professional and patient, answered all my questions (I had a lot!), and had obviously taken the time to learn everything about the Hyundai I ended up buying (which not all sales people do). Therefore I consider Brianna a "Sales Professional". There was no high pressure, and the entire buying experience was very pleasant. Sales Department is not good. Service department is horrible. Every experience except for 1 has been a cluster in some way. My current issue is my 2022 vehicle left me stranded on the road Saturday morning. Towed it to Beardmore and also called to let them know it was coming. Booked an 8AM appointment for Monday. It is Monday at 5PM. I have yet to hear from anyone. I have called 3 times and was told someone would call me back. I have yet to actually be able to speak to someone in the service department. Just their call center which is where all calls are sent. No one has called me back. I have no idea if my vehicle has been looked at or how long it might take to fix. After my previous experiences I had no plans to go back but unfortunately they are the closest dealership for warranty work and that is where it was towed to. I will never purchase from them again. I have used many dealerships around and never had a bad experience. read more

I wish I could put 0 stars. I have taken my car in 3 times this summer for the same issue. I have spent almost a grand for the service department to keep telling me my car is fixed and it is absolutely not. This last time I told them to actually fix it and I would not pay for it as they haven't actually done anything the other two times. I took my car in and never heard anything. I had to call and get an update. I was told it was done and I could pick it up in the morning. I called to say I would come get it and and they said now it won't be ready until 430 and I don't have a way to get it then and they pretty much said not my problem. They said they don't have a loner car for me and I am in healthcare and need a car. These people have been incredibly rude and not helpful. When the company was Todd Archer I never had any issues. I will never bring my car back and I will never get a new car from here and I will tell everyone I know to never go here. read more

I have in the past left a positive review for Beardmore Hyundai. And, I am doing it again. Tom in Service is great. The experience I have had both times have been well above average. I have no trouble recommending this dealership to friends. This service trip, I have been experiencing a wobbling noise in my rear axle area. Finally, got it in. And unlike the other dealers, they didn't make me wait 2 weeks. The final result was some unusual tire wear. Tom mentioned the tires are safe, just noisy. He recomended to wait till at least winter is over before considering new tires, if even them. I appreciate his honesty. Wish there were more like Beardmore Hyundai. Will be going back to them. This dealership is becoming a joke. Below you will see the review I wrote to them, which supposedly had issues uploading for Google external review. This Chris Koger ignored my complaint on the diagnostic fee and why it was not reduced because of their inability to perform the work due to Hyundai's inability to supply or provide an ETA. He also implies I lied regarding the after market cat converter. Why would the tech even suggest that was a possibility if Beardmore does not want to stand by it. At this point I may never purchase another Hyundai but I WILL NOT ever purchase from Beardmore. Too bad for Hyundai since I recommended Hyundai to many others including my father in law who purchased a Sonata for cash. Diagnostic charge is how our techs get paid to figure out what the problem is. We didn't price out an after market cat converter, because we have run into to many problems with after market and if we use we take liability if something happens after the fact. My review to Beardmore: Beardmore charged me $150 diagnostic fee only to tell me it was my catalytic converter and that you, Hyundai had a national backorder on them with zero ETA. I blame Hyundai and I question why I was charged the full $151 when Beardmore's hands were tied by Hyundai and they claimed they could not locate an after market replacement. I called a shop closed to home and they were able to do an aftermarket the next day. Again, I had to pay $200 in towing and $151 for diagnostic but absolutely zero help. We have purchased 1 KIA and we have purchased or leased 5 Hyundai's. I guess that did not provide any loyalty. I purchased my Tucson and financed via Hyundai finance in fact paid it off early... again no loyaty. read more

Worst dealer for service around. They won't complete the work required to make my daughter's car safe to drive on the road. The brakes are shot and they wouldn't fix them before selling the car and make you pay for the repair after purchase. Completely ridiculous. I do not recommend going to this dealer or service center. Vehicles sold from a dealer need to be road ready which includes making sure the brakes are good to go. If they aren't good to go, it should not leave the lot due to safety concerns. They can expect to be sued if anything happens due to their irresponsible judgment. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would. I bought a used car for $10,000. I went to my bank to redo the loan to find out Beardmore added a $5,000 finance fee into the loan. Then there is the Mechanical issues I keep finding that wasn't noticed during the test ride. read more

One never knows what goes on once the service technician takes your car to the service bay. You can't view the service your car receives due to "safety concerns", so you have to take them at their word and trust that they are doing what you ask of them. Today I asked for an oil change and tire rotation at Beardmore Hyundai. Because of concerns from a previous service encounter with Beardmore, I marked my rims, so that I knew which tire was on which corner of my car. After my service was supposedly completed, and I paid my bill, I checked the markings on my rims to find out that my tires had not been rotated. I would have never known had I not marked them. This is a serious breach of trust in my book. I have two Hyundai's in my family, and am seriously considering purchasing another one in the future. With the number of Hyundai dealers in the Omaha area, I don't think I'll need to be going back to Beardmore for service or a new car purchase. read more

We were on the road doing a cross country trip when our car's ability to accelerate on inclines failed. We tried to get any dealership to look at the car starting in New Jersey and then again in Des Moines before finally landing on Beardmore in Nebraska. Every other dealer said that due to staff shortages relating to COVID they could not get us in until sometime in February. Beardmore took us in the same day that I called. After fixing a broken gasket which we waited for, we headed back onto the road only to have the car fail again. We turned around and went back to them. The car needed a new catalytic converter which had to be ordered. They had it next-day shipped and fixed the car in a matter of hours and we were back on the road again successfully. Not only were they sensitive to our needs, but they allowed us and our 2 dogs to wait in the lounge while the final repairs were completed so that we wouldn't have to stay another night in a hotel. The staff was considerate, the technicians were responsive to our questions and concerns and performed the repair in an expedited and professional manner. read more
