5 stars for the service team. Unfortunately (for my car) there have been a few visits here recently, but fortunately (for me) the service team has been great. Over the weekend, I went with my nephew to test drive some vehicles. Our first stop was Subaru; he had seen a CrossTrek that interested him. We had no intention of doing more than test driving. We pulled up, and they had a huge selection. We were approached by salesperson Steven Provencher, who was non-intimidating, welcoming, and invited us into the showroom. He looked for the vehicle we were interested in, talked about the 2025 models, etc. After locating the vehicle, we went for a ride; the CrossTrek was a beautiful blue pearl. Steven mentioned an off-road course located behind the dealership. We drove that, and it was impressive. Although there was a kink in the end of the buying process, I would highly recommend this dealership. read more

Took a crap offer on my car and took a lease for a outback. All the new outback's are having a recall on its dcm and because of this the remote unlock or start won't connect. Now I pay $200 more a month and no longer start my car on cold mornings. After I took it home and the sales person kept assuring me it was going to start working. Well after a couple hours on the phone with Subaru and 2 hours at the dealer they said the dcm needs replaced and no idea when they can get one in and to get fucked, no longer there problem. I'm pretty sure any car with an issue existing over 45 days an dealer can't fix it car, is a lemon. Thanks for the cold morning beardmore wish I had my last car.... read more

After our car got totaled by garbage truck (ugh), it was time to find another vehicle. I had a Subaru in the past for a company car and really liked it. I googled Beardmore Subaru and the rest is history! They're website is a breeze to navigate and I was contacted very quickly via email when I inquired about one of their vehicles. Jayson assisted with the process and we now have a Subaru Outback. It's unfortunate that the process takes so long to complete (credit check, signature upon signature, etc). But it's not Jayson's fault. They have to follow protocol and check every box in the process to ensure all bases are covered. We aren't talking about a coffee or candy purchase here; cars are expensive and valuable to both owner and dealer. In the end, we are very happy with our car and glad we purchased it from Beardmore. Poor Service. They are sexist and absolutely discriminatory. When I sold a vehicle that had been purchased there I had to make 8 phone calls for properly written refund on unused warranty.The cosigner did not have anything to do with any money changing hands nor my trade in . Yet they could not get a check written properly to me even after several calls over two days. Mind you my name was on EVERY document, receipt and all checks were signed exclusively by me. The staff here at Beardmore is friendly, and scheduling is convenient. I was going to write a review all about how I couldn't believe Beardmore charged me $50 to put my car up on a lift and tell me there was nothing wrong. But before I did that, to be fair, I thought I should check another Subaru dealer, Stan Olsen... and guess what? They would have charged me $67 for that service. Overall I'd recommend finding a reputable local mechanic instead of taking your car to a dealer for service, but if you have a Subaru and you have to go to a dealer, Beardmore is the place. read more

Our salesperson was Catherine Smith, if she was the only person we dealt with at beardmore Subaru, there wouldn't be enough stars on the scale to rate her high enough. She was amazing from first contact til the time we drove away in my wife's new car. She walked through everything on the vehicle with my wife over FaceTime and explained everything in detail to her. She actually focused on my wife (who is the primary driver of this vehicle) and not me. Then we get to the "sales manager" Dave Schoonover. First off, he held the keys to the vehicle we were considering trading in after he looked at it (entrapment tactic, the keys should have been returned to the salesperson at the very least. They really should have been returned to us). I should have known he wasn't an honest broker when he started talking about his "wholesale buyer" in negotiating the lowball trade in value on our extremely low Mileage and clean trade in. He was very condescending and kept shooting down every counter offer. I told my wife and the salesperson exactly what they ended up putting it on the lot for because they are going to keep it. Guess what, I was only $100 off in my estimation. We are going to be in the market in a few months again for another vehicle, but because of the actions of the sales manager, we will probably be shopping somewhere else where they deal fairly. The finance manager got us in and out in record time and was not pushy at all like I have dealt with in the past. He would also get 5/5 stars! read more

I have been coming to this dealership for service for 9+ years, ever since I bought my Subaru. Today is the last time I will ever go. I had service done here a month ago; timing belt replaced, oil change/service, and a tire rotation all of which totaled over $1000. One week after the service, while driving on the interstate, the car started shaking violently. We pulled into a nearby gas station, and the mechanic told us our front drivers side tire hadn't been secured properly and the tire was about to come off. After that day, the car began squeaking like crazy every time we accelerated so I finally got time today to get it checked out. The service guy told me the cause of the squeaking was non-Subaru brake pads I had purchased two years ago. Apparently, the non-Subaru brakes caused some wear and tear on our rotors, which caused the squeak although all our service records since the time the brakes were installed were completely fine. Then they told me that the tire almost fell off because of a rust build-up on the rotors, which is normal (?) and checking it isn't part of a oil change or tire rotation. The solution was pay $300 to get new SUBARU BRAND brake pads and get my rotors cleaned otherwise the spontaneous loss of my tires was imminent and unavoidable. This was somehow all my fault for buying non-Subaru brake pads. They offered to fix the tire issue but not the squeak for $60. I am so disappointed for a company who takes so much pride in the safety of their vehicles to not take ownership for the tire almost coming off the vehicle one week after their service. I left feeling taken advantage of and angry; the used brake pads had almost no wear on them. To be fair, they took $60 off the total because I was upset, but I will never go back again. read more

We leased a car for the first time due to the unexpected expense of our daughters car being totaled by one of the new garbage trucks (no one was hurt, thank goodness). "If you are buying a new car and you don't go to a Beardmore dealership, you are making a big mistake!  I have been buying cars for more decades than I want to admit.  The amount of pain involved in each purchase has ranged from about 5 all the way up to 9.99999 on a 10 point scale.  If I had ever been given an option: "You can either: a)  get a root canal without novocaine and buy the car you want hassle free without being lied to and manipulated OR b)  you can go through our "sales process" and not have to do a root canal", I would have chosen the root canal every time.  HOWEVER, that was before I got to Beardmore.  At Beardmore, NO HASSLES!  NO LIES!  NO UPSELLING!  In other words, no "product of bulls that is used as fertilizer".  And when I say "NO", I mean "NO", nada, zero.  All the way through the process of buying our new Subaru Forester at Beardmore Subaru Bellvue, from beginning to end, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop.  Nope!  Never dropped!  I could scarcely believe it!  David Schuck (sales)and Jordan Tiller (finance) were both outstanding profes sionals.  Patient, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, HONEST ( we are talking about the car business here and honesty is not one of the first words that normally spring into one's mind, hence the all caps).  You owe it to yourself to at least go and take a look at a new car at Beardmore if for no other reason than to experience one of the wonders of the world; a customer-focused, honest and above-board car dealership.  Will wonders never cease!" read more

3 times I've been to Beardmore Subaru in Bellevue and each time I've been treated like crap! The first time my wife and I were looking to buy a Crosstrek . We walked the lot and showroom for 50+ minutes at 6:30 on a warm summer week night, IGNORED! Not interested in selling? We bought the car at Edwards that night! Second time I needed a $650 tow hitch reciever which was only available from Subaru, Ordered the part , waited for a call 5 days, called and put on hold long time , person answered and says , not here- HUNG UP on me! I waited a week and went in to get my money back or my part. It was there when I called the first time! A few weeks ago we received a recall notice, two actually. Made an appointment for 8 am today, car sat all day and I had to call at 10 - 5 . We might get it tomorrow he says?!! My Subaru is a great car , painted the wrong color by Baxter and has parts falling off! But I just wanted what I paid for and no attitude when things aren't right. Was buying an outback tried to deal with these jokers and Baxter. These guys just wasted my time. I gave them an opportunity to provide their deal, they did, it wasn't as good as Baxter so I told them no thanks. They called me back and begged me to send them the email from Baxter to match it so I reluctantly did then they never called or emailed me back even though I clearly asked them to either way. Don't waste your time just go to Baxter where they are professionals and treat you with respect. read more

This review is specific to the Service Department. Really surprised I am giving a four star review to a car dealership. After buying a used WRX STI (not from Beardmore) I have been going here for oil changes. I went in for my first appointment, and when it was done, they came out with my keys and let me know it was free as I was a new customer. I found that to be a pretty nice first impression completely out of the blue. Definitely made me want to come back. So far, they have been pretty quick and helpful when I have come in, no pressure for unneeded services, etc. The last time I came in, they came out and asked if they could perform a brake inspection as my pads appeared to be getting low. They explained the cost, and said if I end up having them do my brakes, they will take the amount of the inspection off the bill for my brakes. In addition, since I have a 'performance' car, they indicated that if I wanted to purchase aftermarket brakes, they would install them. Again I was pretty impressed a dealership would offer that. While I haven't made my appointment for brakes yet, they will be getting my business, as they indicated if I make my appointment ahead of time, there is a good chance they can set me up with a loaner car as well. read more

Each time I am put automatically on hold, sit there for 10 minutes, and then am disconnected. Either get someone dedicated to answering the phone, or get some sort of system where a customer (which you supposedly care about) can leave a message. read more

We just purchased two brand new Subarus at Beardmore Subaru in Bellevue and it was the single best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. Our salesman, Garrett, was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He respected the fact that I was just doing research during my first visit and didn't try to apply any pressure. I went back for a test drive and then brought my wife back a few days later and Garrett was always ready and willing to help. Once we decided what we wanted, I did a ton of research online to determine the best possible prices for both the two new vehicles and our two trade-ins. Armed with this knowledge, I worked up what I felt was a fair deal and presented it to Garrett. I told him that if he and his managers could make the numbers work to give me a call and then we went home. Less than an hour later Garrett called and said that the deal was a go. We went back to the dealer that evening and had the whole thing wrapped up in approx. 1.5 hours. Garrett presented the different add-ons that the dealership offered and quickly moved on when I declined. At no point were there any pressure tactics applied and everyone was super friendly and efficient. We were then handed over to Rob, the finance guy, and I fully expected that the good times were about to end. Quite the contrary, Rob was efficient, didn't try to to pull a fast one with the numbers and didn't try the usual up-sell that you get at most dealerships. He finished the paperwork for two new vehicles and two trades in record time and had us out the door in time for dinner. Overall, our experience purchasing a vehicle at Beardmore Subaru was fantastic. They sell a ton of car for the money and you will leave feeling that you were treated fairly and professionally. What can I say? We had poor experiences at other dealerships, including Baxter (Stan Olsen) and Edwards. Luke at Beardmore gave us great personal service, including separate test drives for my wife and myself while we were wrangling our daughter. The price was fair, they sourced us a vehicle from Minnesota within a few days, and they were very responsive to our few concerns and hiccups that happened along the way. The facility was very nice as well. No dingy offices, just bright lights and glass walls. That wasn't a big deal to us, but it was nice as car deals take a bit of time. When my phone went dead, Luke even found me a phone charger and brought my charged phone out to me when we were in the finance office. Basically, exceptional service throughout. Oh, and we like the car too. read more

Uninterested, Incompetent and Dishonest We are long-time Subaru lovers and a one-car family. We leased a new vehicle this summer in an effort to assure we would have reliable transportation for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, we began experiencing major electrical problems within the first few months. The service staff at Beardmore had our vehicle for over 34 days without ever calling us to update us on what they'd found, and could provide no detailed diagnostic information, which may be why the problem continues to reoccur, requiring us to repeatedly return the vehicle. Throughout the process we were dismissed by service manager Jim Bowser and his technicians, who gave little more than 1-word responses. We were lied to by GM Doug Christensen, who gave us the verbal equivalent of a pat on the head and assured us we would be taken care of though he provided no follow-through. He and his entire staff made it quite clear they couldn't care less about our lack of reliable transportation, so we took the car elsewhere to have it properly diagnosed by professionals. If Beardmore is incapable of completing warranty work correctly and with tact, I'm not sure what they can do. Would highly recommend going elsewhere- anywhere, elsewhere. read more

We have been a Beardmore customer since 2011, bought two cars from them. Presently we have a 2011 Subaru Legacy, took it in today to get a recall on the airbag done. While dropping it off got to looking at new Subaru's, salesman was Johnny on the spot. So we are interested in a 2018 Forester. Was told they are one sale now, ok what have you got? We owe more than our car is worth, like most people. To be fair before I be cruel. The trade in offer was actually right where Kelly blue book showed is should be and even maybe a little higher. Now for the down and dirty. The sale price was somewhere at 1000.00 off sticker. That is not a sale. A few minutes in to the negotiations the salesman tells us we would be better off leasing. We our absolutely not interested in a lease and told the salesman that a few times. He kept persisting that it was the way to go. Kept asking for us to" let me show you" how it would work out. This went on back and forth for a while. Us no, he "let me show you". Us no, "he let me show you". Us no, "he let me show you". So okay show us. This is really where things went real south. Tried to tell us that they would pay off the upside down amount, did not say it but implied the amount would just disappear and be off our plate. When I questioned him about that and the fact that Beardmore was not paying it off and eating it, but instead they were paying off for us and we would have to pay Beardmore back. All we got was more of the 'let me show you" pitch. When we pressed for clarification and answers to some unclear statements, we just could not get any. Just more "Let me show you". At that point we just got up and left. My wife and I felt like we were lied to and attempted to be misled. And the fact that we stated more than once "not interested in a lease". Instead of Ok, we got "let me show you" so much we walked out. Sad to see a dealership I use to trust turn to doing business this way. Excellent dealership. Aaron on the Sales staff was incredible helpful, friendly and in no way pushy. We bought the car a few days later. The dealer made a price mistake but honored the price anyway. It is is good to see a dealership demonstrate such integrity in a market traditionally known for less than honest tactics. I bought a new Forester but was having trouble keeping the phone connected to the Bluetooth. The sales men at the dealership were extremely helpful and spent well over an hour reconnecting my phone. In June the car broke and Mike took great care of us....September 1st car goes back in with a new issue and September 9th and $1879.83 we finally get the car back and it stinks!!!!!! Beardmore Subaru conveniently increased the price of a used car I was looking at by over $2000 just as someone else showed interest. They then bought the car for over $1500 more than it was posted for just the day before. I was then offered a car with almost 30,000 more miles, was a year older and a lesser model for about the same price as the other one was originally posted for (bait and switch??). I was told this was a system error which seemed "really" convenient. Also, I had a hard time getting any quotes on new cars via email. They did everything to get me in the door. I recommend shopping elsewhere if you want prices upfront, integrity and a pleasant car buying experience. read more
