They support local authors and even from time to time musicians. I have performed here a couple of times and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Their great event room is a multi-purpose section of the store with a seating capacity of maybe 45-50, give or take. Keep your eyes open for events here! I said it was a hard book to find. She said it's popular and everyone loves it. Be sure to come back and tell us what you thought of it. I've been going here since they first opened, and my son has graduated from playing with the toys in the fully stocked and very convenient "kids area", to looking at chapter books while I browse the rare and obscure selections from social sciences, geography, history, you name it. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing artwork and cool gifts and games for sale as well. A lot of the art is locally made. It's a funky store, and absolute opposite of Amazon. Go here.

You could spend a good chunk of time browsing through the bins and shelves. It is great that they have a train table in the kids area so they kids can play while you browse the books. I was searching for Lunar New Year books, but couldn't find any. They had a bin for the big holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter and a general holiday bin for smaller holidays. The employees were nice and can system search by author/title, but they couldn't do a search by general topic/genre.

The selection feels endless. Every genre, every niche, and then, just when you think you've seen it all, there's a wall of Blu-rays, DVDs, video games, board games, and random bits of memorabilia you didn't know you wanted until they're already in your basket. The prices are almost insulting to other stores. Seriously, I've paid more for a cup of coffee than I have for some of the books here. You'd almost feel guilty... except you don't, because you're too busy carrying out a stack taller than your torso. The staff is excellent -- actually helpful, not the fake "let me know if you need anything" kind. They've tracked down what I came in looking for, and then somehow convinced me to walk out with three more titles I didn't even know existed. My shelves at home are groaning under the weight of their recommendations, but sure, suggest me another series. Why not. I've been a regular for about a year now, and as long as I live in Massachusetts, this will be one of the few places I actually look forward to throwing money at. You never know what you'll find here, which is exactly why I keep coming back.

I've been here multiple times now…read more Tonight I was grabbing dinner and was intrigued by the table of books out front labeled "$6 books or 3 for $15" and it was loaded with goodies. I walked out with Michelle Obama's book in mint condition for $5. Unreal. Inside is full of wall to wall coverage of books and vinyls. Heaven. It's very tidy and everything is organized by genre for both the books and the vinyls. The friendliest man works here - I believe he's the store owner. Very welcoming, softspoken, and extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I have a question, he knows where to point me. Not to mention he's always turning the tunes for a cozy and welcoming feel as you browse. Couldn't recommend this place more. Go check em out!
