I have found the ONE! Bea did amazing things to my ratchet nail job from a previous salon. I had tips and dip applied three weeks ago from another salon snd in less than 60 minutes she had my natural nails looking (and feeling) brand new!!! She listened to what I wanted and they turned out perfect! She doesn't do dip (I was hesitant at first but I'm glad I trusted her) and did the gel polish. She only charged me $40 and I got a cuticle trim and hand massage. BestmoneyI've ever spent!! I will be a repeat customer FOR SURE! I have been searching for a great nail place for quite some time. I get tired of paying and tipping for less than quality work. I HAVE FOUND MY PLACE!! This place is beautiful and so clean! I went in to do my nails and I had acrylic on them ONLY b/c I had two split nails from a knife on a craft project and no one else said I should try anything other than acrylic. I hate acrylic. I came in here and had them soak them off and then take a look at the split nails and I said well they haven't grown out enough so I guess put acrylic back on. Bea suggested letting her do her magic patch work and I could get the gel I wanted. She was right!!! The nails are sturdy and strong and will hold up nicely! She takes pride in the work she does and really does want her clients to be happy with her work. I hate that the majority of shops are like a machine and they just push everyone through fast fast fast. I don't go get my nails done to be rushed through and not get a nice mani/pedi and get to relax a bit. I went when it's not busy and I thoroughly enjoyed my service. I will be coming back next week for a pedi and I cannot wait, since I literally just paid for a pedi somewhere else that wasn't done at all for the health of my feet. I left essentially in the same condition I came in with . So I am beyond excited to try them out for a pedi as I'm sure it's going to be amazing! I hadn't had my nails done since February, when I finally decided I absolutely had to go in and get my nails done. To be honest, I've gotten used to not having nice nails over the last six months. I went in because I really missed Bea. It was so good to see someone who has become important to me over the years, and being back in the shop made me feel like life can be somewhat normal again. I felt so safe - everyone in masks, everything sanitized, and not very busy. I think especially during the week, you can probably find a time where you are one of the only clients in there. I think Bea's lends itself well to be ready to work during something like COVID-19. Her aesthetic well before this time was very minimalist and very clean. She doesn't have a lot of stuff sitting around, she doesn't have a lot of heavy drapes or lots of merch getting dusty. Her shop is light and bright with bright tile floors, so not only is it easier to keep clean, it's also easy for customers to see how clean it is, giving you peace of mind you wouldn't have if you were going to a lot of other places in town. And, Bea herself, as well as her longtime staffer Wah are both dedicated, thoughtful, meticulous people. Bea does not make you get your manicure while sitting in the pedicure chair. Some of the sloppy and worst shops want you to cross your hands to one side where the manicurist does your nails. This is NOT relaxing or comfortable. Also, the pedicure chairs are a monument to comfort and effective massages. Easy to use and a delight to enjoy. I didn't have the same experience as the many other reviewers with flawless ratings. I came here with a bridal party of 7 that was scheduled in advance. I walked in and no one was manning the front desk, so I had to meander to the back of the salon. This salon has a wall break between the reception and the back to make it more spa like and professional. When I made it to the back, I wasn't greeted by any of the staff or given any instructions on where to sit or what to do. They only had four people working, and they decided to schedule other people with the bridal party as well. It took two hours to get a basic pedi and a gel mani, which normally takes me less than an hour at other salons. I wouldn't have cared as much about the time if I would have known to eat dinner in advance. At some point, one of my friends asked for water, and they told her that her daughter could go get it out of a cooler in the front room. Zero stars for customer service. I picked a gray gel with a pink glitter accent nail. I've never been to a salon where they didn't have a matching regular polish to go with the gel. At $35, the gel manicure was priced high, and then they informed me that the only matching color was a specialty brand that costs $5 extra (Not posted around the nail colors). Well the "specialty" brand was OPI! That's a standard polish at all other nail stores. I got the impression that they were going to charge as much as they could for as little work. I didn't even mention that the pedi was painful. I asked her to stop using the abrasive scrub because it seemed like she was trying to rip my skin off. Well, my nail tech didn't speak a work of English. So I'm ended up having to pull my leg out of her hands and stick it into the water myself. My legs were bright red and tender from her scrubbing. My manicure wasn't as bad, but I've noticed today that the color doesn't go all the way up to the nail bed. They did nothing to help with my skin where it had begun peeling around my cuticles. read more

Bea was friendly, superb at her task @ helpful. Then Lee gave me a pedicure that was excellent. She Focused on details, was sensitive to my idiosyncrasies, and I was really pleased. I drove my wife here from Edmond to treat her to a manicure and pedicure for Mother's Day. We walked in and the front of the shop was very inviting. Bea came from the back to greet us which was much less than Luke warm when she realized we were African American. Although not very hospitable, I had read the reviews on yelp and wanted my wife to try the place to see if she liked it. My wife informed her that she had dip on her nails we Bea explained that they did not do that there. My wife was ok just removing what she had and going back to her natural nails with gel polish. We were then seated in the massage chairs where we selected their best pedicure which I was surprised to find was only priced at $50. There was an older woman and young woman who took care of our pedicures. The older woman was nice but I felt my pedicure was rushed by her. The younger woman was very pleasant and seemed to take good care of My wife. During this time Bea began to discuss my wife's manicure and quickly had my wife so frustrated that she didn't want the manicure anymore. When we arrived we were the only two customers in the shop, which in past experiences I find that service industry used this opportunity to earn new repeat customers, however my experience here was completely opposite. It was very obvious Bea was making ill remarks of my wife in her native language to the other older woman. During the entire visit a total of 7 customers (all Caucasian) came in. One was told they were too busy to do an eyebrow lining, two were waiting when we left and four were being seen, 3 women and and older male. Bea's greeting and general hospitality towards them was significantly different from the one she gave us when we arrived. The only person I thought she was rude to was the person seeking the eyebrow service. This entire time I kept my mouth closed and pretty much observed the services and environment. Very few times do I feel like I am being treated differently when I'm paying for a service but it was abundantly obvious today. I was constantly texting my wife trying to keep her calm and assure her that we would go somewhere afterwards so she could enjoy her Mother's Day gift. After the pedicures which were very short and definitely not worth $50ea, I paid for both and left a $20 tip because I didn't want Bea to think that African Americans don't tip but I was definitely not impressed by the level or quality of the services rendered. I routinely get pedicures when my wife has her nails done. I typically get the best one the shop offers which is normally $80-$100. Although this one was only $50, it was definitely not worth the money. I don't know if it was their typical level of service or just because we were African American but it was not a good value. The other customers got smiles, conversations, and drinks offered to them, none of which did well experience. So to sum it up, it was definitely now a place I would recommend or return to. If you happen to be an older individual of the Caucasian persuasion you will probably find acceptable service, however if you are not, stay far, far away. I don't typically leave bad reviews but in this case I need to inform other minorities before they make the same mistake I made trying to please my wife with a business that doesn't care about pleasing all of their customers. read more

I recently went for the first time after reading all the good reviews and was very disappointed. I got a pedicure and manicure. The younger girl who did my pedicure did an ok job. She was gentle. But the lady who did my manicure was rushed and used little effort. There was no reason to be rushed through the services. They close at 7 and I was there before 5:30. She clipped my cuticle and made me bleed. She also didn't use a scrub even though the manicure I chose was supposed to have one. After the paraffin dip, she just massaged lotion on my arms without even cleaning off my arms or under my nails, so before I left I had to go wash my hands and clean under my nails. When I got home I also had to file a couple of spots that were still jagged. It was overall a disappointing service. The salon is nice and they do offer wine, but I wouldn't go back again. read more

Me and my sister went in there in a hurry for a wedding so I understand if they felt rushed but only one girl in the shop knew how to do acrylic nails which we both wanted. When she was doing my nails every time she touched it, it stung so bad to the point where I almost cried. When I showed up, the lady was extremely rude when I requested to get my current nails taken off and go back to my normal shellac. She acted like I was a huge burden that I even walked in. After we agreed upon all her insane up charges, she told me she no longer has time for me and to come back later. I was the only person in the entire place. Worst customer service and absolutely insane additional charges. Just so you know can understand, a shellac French tip with removal of my old nails was going to be over $60 not including the generous tip I like to leave. If I could give ten stars I would-- one for each perfectly manicured finger that I get from Bea. The shop is clean, quiet, and is perfectly run by Bea and her team. I love that I can get my gel soaked off and get my mani done all while relaxing in the pedi chair and having enough time for my toes to dry while they finish my nails. There's never a blaring TV and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Time before last that I was in, I had an important event and a trip to the beach coming up before I would see her again. I told her my nails would be gone by the time I left the beach because gel never lasts for me after time in the water and she said "My nails will last, trust me" and she was right-- three weeks of perfect nails after saltwater & chlorine! What sealed the deal for me was my time in the shop yesterday. I work late on the other side of town, so a week day or even a weeknight mani/pedi isn't in the cards for me, making me one of the standard Saturday-goers. I called mid-afternoon in desperate need of an appointment and I could tell it was a stretch to fit me in but Bea did it. I came in and was given the same treatment I always get (as in, like a princess) only to find out later that she really didn't have the bandwidth to do my services. The end result was about three different team members all smiles and quickly doing their thing, all in an effort to get me what I needed that day. It didn't take a minute longer than usual, she never complained and actually told me I made her day better. I promise to make an appointment in advance to keep this from happening again, but my goodness what a difference from the places I have been where they make you feel in the way just for showing up. So just know if you're ever told they can't fit you in, they probably REALLY mean it! On top of everything, Bea is an incredible business woman who takes care of her team and her customers and is fun to spend your time with to boot! She's a hardworking mom who you can tell loves what she does and she has a true gift. I motioned for her to come on. Not sure if they were homophobic or what. They were very rude to her and myself. We got the reg pedi for $25 but I got the shellac which is $25-30 more. The lady got done with my friend and didn't even say anything just got up. A lady came back by but to just yank the towel from under her feet. I was texting her and saying are they done. She goes I guess she didn't say anything to me. Most say "Thank you have a great day/ Come back to see us" The lady that did mine was rude to me as well. She put the wrong polish on and I just went with it. At this point I was ready to get out of there. She kept getting mad because I wasn't putting my foot in the right place. I kindly told her there isn't any room for me to place my foot so she yanked it over. Couple of days later I was looking at my toes one of the polish came off one toe and the pinky toe you can see the old polish under the new. Once she was done she just walked away. Did they help put on the flip flops or anything hell no. Did they help the others customers and was nicer hell yes. I sat there and watched as I shook my head.
