I am sitting in the chair right now and I could drift off to sleep. The technician, Zoey, is skilled and her touch is soothing me. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and cheery. The mock tail they provided is hitting all the right notes (who could go wrong with a raspberry lemonade. I have found my downtown okc nail spot. They also provide a cute clothing boutique with sweet little sundresses (appropriate for the Oklahoma heat) (on sale at 30% &40% items),and loungewear. The shop is adorable, everyone who works there is so friendly and nice, and Olivia gave me the best pedicure of my life. I'm not exaggerating. Love love love! Just within the last month of Paint Nail Bar opening, I've been twice. I love their values for a fume-free environment and healthy environment with additions you wouldn't see in a regular nail salon. Their polishes are also 5-7-9 free, which means those toxins present in traditional polishes are not there. They also use an LED light instead of a UV light. Traditional gel polishes strip my nail beds, but when I went back the second time to get my polish removed, my nail was still just as healthy as before. I highly recommend booking with Bunny! She's amazing. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. Located in a prime location in downtown OKC's First National building, Paint Nail Bar is a must visit. It took me 4 years to find a spot in OKC with the level of professionalism and consistency that Paint offers. All the ladies are wonderful and I've been to at least 4/5 of the ladies here. I was looking for a nail salon that didn't use drills or harsh, smelly substances and was told about Paint. I've been going there for about three months now and am so happy! It's inside one of the many buildings downtown, but is so very cute! They've got some retail space along with pedicure chairs and manicure desks. You're always greeted with a friendly face, (and a complimentary mimosa!), every time you walk in the door. My girl is Tiffany, and she's terrific! She's very friendly and does such a great job! I'm very glad I battled the downtown traffic that first day (their location is the only negative, although they do have an attached parking garage). If you're tired of having your hands and feet mangled, make an appointment at Paint! You're going to love it! read more

OMG! This place is my favorite nail salon EVER! Katie is such an amazing nail tech. She is super sweet and helped me figure out colors and stuff once I told her my vision for the nail art/ colors. The place is super nice, they validate parking if you park in the garage!! My nails last me 4 weeks(gel x). I had never had gel x before coming here. They don't do dip, which is totally fine because with acrylic/dip my nails probably last like 2 weeks before breaking. They also have really cute clothes, accessories, jewelry, purses, and so much more! The BEST nail salon in the OKC area, and I will definitely drive all the way from Norman to get my nails done here!!! read more

I called and specifically requested ombre french tip and worked around their schedule because it's an "extended appointment". Originally I wanted sculpted gel but they didn't have availability for a week so I decided gel was fine meanwhile. When I came in, I was told abruptly that they didn't have time and I should do a simpler option like just sheer pink. Obviously I'm not going to change my preferred nails due to their error; I'm getting engaged and know exactly what I want for pictures. And they made me feel crazy for not wanting to reschedule or forgo my pedi. Hire more/better staff? Their front desk girl was so condescending read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars after this visit. I called ahead and booked an appointment for 3:15pm and asked for a gel manicure. I informed the salon on the phone that I have dip polish currently on my nails that I will need removed and she said it would be no problem. I show up for the appointment where the technician proceeds to chop off the tips of all but two of my nails and then looks at the clock on the wall. She then says "she has an appointment in an hour, so she doesn't think she'll be able to do my actual manicure." I was so dumbfounded and explained that I had already told them when I booked the appointment that I had dip polish that would need to be removed prior to the gel mani. How are you as a business gonna book an appointment and then tell me you actually can't do it because you have another appointment. She looks at me like she has no idea what to do, and then says well I could try to file them. But at that point based off the website alone I wasn't gonna pay her to do that after she ruined my nails. If she really didn't think she was gonna have the time to do my nails 1) they shouldn't have allowed someone to book an appointment beforehand and 2) she shouldn't have cut them all off jaggedly before she said something.
