Such a great place. Wonderful menu and just the kind of place platteville needs. Great for families and they have a full bar.

We got cinnamon rolls there that were not even baked, they were completely raw. I also got brisket that had almost no meat and was just fat

The steak was cooked perfectly as well and our server was knowledgeable and accommodating! The mushroom rice side was spectacular! My only concern was one guest at the bar was loud and using foul language. I was there with my mom and that did make the outing awkward. The bartender did his best to control and outburst and swear words as he was watching soccer but word of warning for those with younger guests.

The restaurant is fairly small, but cozy. The ambiance is very relaxed and social. It was a bit noisy but a good noisy, not obnoxious noisy; people having good conversations and lots of laughing. Our server greeted us in a timely manner and took our drink order. I ordered an old fashioned, my wife a Hugo spritz. Both were fantastic but just a heads up, the drinks were relatively strong. The menu is relatively small but still enough to choose from and not be disappointed. My wife and I both ordered the 5 oz filet with shrimp. We split a side of green beans. When our food reached our table, we thought that it might not be enough to fill us but we were more than full afterwards and agreed that anything bigger might be too much. The food was excellent, one of the better steaks I've had in a while. The service was good and our server, Sammy, did a real nice job of taking care of us without being overly intrusive. Prices were appropriate for the quality, maybe a little higher than you would expect but still worth it. If you're looking for a high quality, local small town steak experience that isn't a chain, I highly recommend Driftless Social.

Omg, finally a great martini! How hard is it to give 1 or three olives.

The menu was quite a bit more extensive than I expected with lots of offerings for any taste. I settled on the fried broccoli and cheese bites and a chicken parm sandwich. Both of them knocked it out of the park. More places need broccoli and cheese bites. These ROCKED. The chicken parm sandwich was basic in nature but is exactly what I wanted from it. The best part? The bits of burnt mozz really underneath the sandwich for an added crunch. The service was everything you could have asked for. Quick, friendly. You name it. Glad to have made the decision to stop here a few weeks ago, and would absolutely recommend to anybody in the area.

Napkins are paper-towels off the roll, when asked for additional napkins we were given a stack of cocktail napkins. Had to ask for silverware and the plastic glasses all smelled like bleach. Only one person appeared to be working both the bar and table area, service was a little bit on the slow side, but the gentleman was polite and accommodating. Cheese Curds were good, nothing spectacular and the quantity received was on the small side compared to what you might get at other establishments. They were out of tortillas so there were no wrap options. For a Saturday, not sure how they could run out already by lunch time. Sunday, dinner? Maybe??? I could understand, but going into a weekend? How is your kitchen not fully stocked? Main meals were hearty and good (burger & cheese stake), but again, nothing really special. All in all the food was nothing out of the ordinary and the place is just basic.

Ezequiel was helpful, easy to work with, and organized. We were able to drop off menus and place cards the day prior which were set up with the table so that all of our group could come in together and see them! This small accommodating detail made the day even more seamless and intentional for our guests. We hadn't been to Vinny's prior to the wedding weekend, so we were a bit anxious about the unknown food and service. In the end, both were great! We had the fried calamari, bruschetta, fried ravioli, and seafood stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. We had the lasagna, chicken parm, and pepper steak for our main course, and an assortment for treats for dessert. The portions were hearty, and everyone commented on how amazed they were at all the food that just came coming out! Our favorite was the chicken parm and tiramisu, but all of the food was good - my Italian mother in law approved! The next time we're in Galena, we will definitely be coming by for some chicken parm and tiramisu!
