On the wedding day, Jonathan was incredibly prepared and professional. His equipment and setup helped everything transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then into the reception. But what really stood out was his ability to read the room and create exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. One of my biggest wedding-day fears was that no one would dance, and Jonathan completely put that fear to rest! His energy had our guests ready to dance before it was even officially time to hit the dance floor. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night and only cleared when the night was over and we were literally being sent home! He perfectly blended our love of house music with songs that would get guests of all ages on the dance floor. He understood exactly what we were looking for musically while still knowing how to keep the entire room engaged. My almost 77 year old grandma was sore the next day because she literally danced all night long! Jonathan played such a huge role in making our reception so much fun and memorable. Without batting an eye, Sheldon quickly added my last minute song choice and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. He seamlessly MC'd and kept the music bumping throughout the night so there was still a crowd at the very end. Friends told us they thought the DJ was amazing and that they had never seen guests enter the dance floor so quickly and pack the area. I received a packet from this one guy with all kinds of crazy rainbow colors and smiley faces and frankly, his voice on the phone scared the crap out of me. We wanted a low-key DJ, not a show-boat. Tom was perfect. He was referred to me by a friend and we communicated briefly by phone & mostly by email. He seemed very professional and his website looked pretty detailed. When we finally met just before the wedding, I'll admit that I was afraid he might be a little too low-key. He is very calm and maybe a little mellow. Not what I had in mind for a DJ. But, we liked him all the same and all that really mattered was that he showed up and played good music. He totally delivered! He wore a nice suit and looked great. Call me shallow but that's important - his head in the background of quite a few of the photos. He was professional and knew what to play to make everyone happy. He also played all of the songs we asked him to, which is not always a given. The reception was non-stop dancing all night. We had a blast. Oh, one other thing. Tom is not cheap but he's not overpriced either. I talked to some people who wanted crazy amounts of money to DJ. Tom was totally reasonable. Another "highly recommend".

The 3-piece horn section was amazing, the 2 singers were fantastic, and they kept the place rocking until the very last song. Our kids took over 1/2 the dance floor while the "old folks" commandeered the other half and it stayed packed all night, song-after-song. There was never that moment where everyone loses steam and sits down. As the night went on, even the single guys felt compelled to come out and join the fun.
