I scheduled my car for a mobile oil change and no one showed up. When I called to ask where the technician was they told me they tried to call me the day before to let me know. (which they did not) He then says you're going to have to bring it in and I'll give you a coupon. Mind you, this is the second time this has happened. Had the distinct displeasure of talking to Svc Mgr, Angel. If only her demeanor was as Heavenly as her name. One of the top 3 nastiest people I've ever dealt with. I'm in my mid-60s. I had a few items to check. I sent a letter in advance by email to Angel to make my needs clear. It seems that really made her angry. One item is, I'm getting 9.14 MPG below Ford's advertised fuel economy rating. I sent her all the data from my last 11 tankfuls. I was advised by Katelyn to do that. 1st thing Angel said was, she was looking at the stats on 'Ford Pass', and my car was reporting over 51,000 miles. She accused me of not getting service for over 25,000 miles. She said an air filter wouldn't last that long. That was what was causing my poor mileage. I told her that was incorrect. I had only put about 5,000 miles on the car since the service at her place. I told her that the car only had a little over 31,000 miles on it. Angel blamed the mistake on her computer. It sounded to me like she was looking at the wrong account. She probably had more than one tab open. She made several other accusations. Conditions that cause poor mileage were actually all listed by me, in my letter to her. I don't know why she felt the need to tell me what I had already written to her. At one point, she stated that she had been in the business for 25 years. She was really talking down to me. Something you never do in the service industry. I said something like, "Just so you know, I was ASE certified in about 1980." She said, "I don't see how that's 'revelant'". Of course, she meant "relevant". People tend to make mistakes like that when heightened. I answered, "Isn't it just as relevant as you bringing up your 25 years?" She questioned if my new tires were adequate for my model. I told her since the tires have been on the car, the mileage actually improved by 5 MPG. She just kept digging the hole she made for herself. She pointed out in my letter, that I didn't appreciate an almost $600 estimate, as the items I needed looked at were pretty insignificant. Except for the mileage. I needed the windshield wipers set back to the factory position. They are resting up on the windshield. They should be tucked in. Another item is, I've no idea how much life was left on my brake pads. I just wanted a brake inspection. Basically, I purchased the extended warranty from a nice gentleman in the BT sales dept. They charged me plenty for a pre-coverage inspection. The warranty was about $3,111. I paid in full with my debit card. He told me that whenever I had any concerns, bring the car in or call for valet service and my deductible would be $100 per visit. I assumed that would be the case. My Ford dealer in AZ has been doing it exactly that way for several years with my other car. Angel was charging me a min of $165 for every issue that I listed. These were "1st hour charges." I shudder to think what a 2nd hour costs. I said that seemed exorbitant and not what I was told when I purchased my warranty. She assured me that they had shopped area competitors and her rates were, "definitely the cheapest." I told her that there was a shop in my neighborhood that I believe would do a brake inspection for $40. She said, "Well, why don't we cancel your appointment for tomorrow and you can go do that." The call had gotten worse with every second that ticked off. I told her, because she was an 'a$$hole', I would move my service to another dealer altogether. BT Ford is not cheaper than Germaine Ford, my new choice. I went to Midas and had my brakes inspected. It was to cost $24.99. It was done in 20 minutes and they said it would be no charge. No problems. Plenty of pad life remaining. Angel hung up after saying, "I recorded this call so, we'll see who the a$$hole is." (It's still her, by the way ) How bizarre. For what reason did she record the call? Did she make the call expecting confrontation? I was fine. She brought the negativity. She had a superior in the room witnessing the call on speakerphone. I will never spend another dime with BT Ford. Stay far away!!! read more

I made an appointment to have a valve recall test done. And have the oil changed and tires rotated after that. When I went to drop it off, they told me that in addition, there was another recall on the back up camera. I was assured that my truck would be done by the end of the day having dropped it off at 8 AM. The service advisor never got back with me. I had to call him on two occasions. At 2:15 in the afternoon he advised me that they needed to either keep the truck over the weekend or ask the technician to stay late to finish the job. What they did crammed in a six hour test on top of the three things that I wanted done which was two hours worth of work. In other words, they failed to get my two hours worth of work done because they were trying to get an unnecessary recall test I didn't ask for no one responsibility for the to execute the simple three things that I have done. When I tried to speak with the manager angel, she was very defensive about their position, not taking any responsibility for the failure to get the three simple task done that were two hours worth of work that I asked to have done the Truck spent seven hours with them and none of what I asked for got done. I will never go back there ever again poor service poor follow up poor execution. No one wants to take any responsibility. read more

I would strongly caution anyone against servicing their car at this dealership. I recently brought my car in for a 100,000-mile service. I was charged over $800 for spark plugs and a coolant change, plus $85 for "the works." At that time, the service advisor told me that everything else looked fine, except for optional tires and an alignment, which I declined the tires but got the alignment. I even asked directly if there were any other issues I should be aware of, and I was assured there were not. Only two days later, my car began gushing coolant on the road. I had no choice but to have it towed back to the dealership. After re-inspection, I was told the car now suddenly needed a new water pump, another set of spark plugs, and even a complete timing chain replacement. The cost of this "new" repair was quoted at nearly $5,000 -- on top of what I had just paid days before. This feels not only misleading but negligent. If they had truly inspected or test-driven my vehicle during the original service, the coolant issue would have been impossible to miss. Instead, I was sent off in a car with a major, obvious problem. To be told I now need thousands of dollars in additional repairs immediately afterward leaves me with serious doubts about their honesty, competency, and integrity. Prior to going up, I wanted to ensure that everything was up to date and repeatedly inquired about it, including the tires, which I was told were new and installed.Recently there. I was there maybe forty five minutes and then drove off to florida.Noticing that the ride was not smooth at all. Tires were nice and shiny and had some tread, so I didn't think twice when I saw the vehicle for the few minutes before driving it off. Thought maybe the balancing was off. I went to get it balanced, and I was told the tires were 4 years old and that they had less than a year's ago. Miles to go. I posted a review on Google. And I got a call from the used car manager. Asking how they could make it right? And I told them to write me a check for the tires and give me what I was told.I would get. He said he would get back to me, but never has. Buyer Beware! This dealership is just like any other dealership out there that will tell you what they think you want to hear, then either not follow up, just make excuses, or flat out lie. And since I live over an hour away, it's not exactly convenient to just "stop in" if I have a question or issue. They lied about the TMPS being replaced and recalibrated on the car. Mike the sales person said "well maybe the guys in the shop were having a bad day". Really Mike! I had to go to a professional shop to have fixed and recalibrated at my own cost. They lied about calling me to come pick up the Title (since I paid cash) and apparently, they don't have the knowledge to flip the title or "technology" to submit to the BMV E-Title system. First Conner in finance stated it would take them about 30-45 days to turn the title. Then I discovered that it was processed on July 3rd, only 9 days after purchase and I even called on July 5th and I guess only one person knows how to find a Title in this dealership because I was told that Conner had no record of if the Title was completed he would have to call me back on Monday. Then I get a call from Conner yesterday the 8th (only after I initiated a call on July 5th) that oops, He stated I guess the Title got sent Fed Ex to me and would be arriving yesterday. Thankfully, I did receive the Title. But... I deliberately requested from Conner (and he agreed) to call me when it was done so I could come and pick it up because I didn't want a Clear Original Title sent in US mail which is what Conner suggested they would do sometime in the next random 30-45 days. Holy Crap! Are you serious. I wonder if Conner or Mike would want their original title to their car sent in mail at random? Free Advice: If you are going to buy ANYTHING from this dealer you may want to take your attorney to keep them honest. What a terrible experience, I guess if you have the means to pay cash for a car, don't take their high financing, and decline their overpriced "warranty" then you may want to shop at a dealer in a larger city that behaves more professionally. read more

Horrible experience with the service department. Took my 2011 F-150 with 72k there because the Lead Frame connector known problem and the Ford extended warranty. I was told this would be covered under the warranty. Katlyn promised to call me back three times and failed each time. Then I was told it is not covered because it's expired and the part is not available. Then I asked if I can find the part will they install it. Maybe she say I need approval for that. She would never tell me what part or if they would install it. Finally I got fed up and just went to go get my truck and of course they want to charge me $180 diagnostic fee. What BS. A time before my experience wasn't great but I never hold one bad experience as the marker for every experience following... Today Ford exceeded my expectations. Love the upgraded service center. The customer service was great. I planned to drop off my car and wait but I figured it would be awhile so they took me back home. The person that took me back home was one of the managers I believe and he was so nice!! I will from now on request this in the future. I knew it would take some time for my car but not the whole day. Not necessarily mad at that but it was to be expected. If there is some way for service to work more efficiently but still maintain the same quality that would be even more fantastic. Gene gave me a call once my car was ready and also recommended future service which I appreciated. I also loved that he explained any issues without hesitation. Someone came and picked me up in a very nice Lincoln MKX. Very nice young man who is an excellent driver. Where do I even begin... Bought a 15 Ford escape with 55,000 mile last summer. The first few months were fine. But about 6 months later, while trying to drive on the highway we got stuck going 120mph+ without being able to slow down. Definitely a scary moment. Beau Townsend was able to tow the vehicle to the service department. AFTER A MONTH of them having our car they said we needed to replace the engine which you'd think with only 55,000 miles on it and their supposed 120 point inspection they would catch something, guess not. Luckily the warranty covered it and the tow. However, the first two weeks or so of them having our car we had to get a rental and thought we were covered under warranty. NOT!!! Our service guy Brian said we would get reimbursed but after 5 months still nothing. Even when I called the last time, the female receptionist for the service department told me to not hold my breath on getting reimbursed for my rental. Guess their warranty isn't as true as they say. After nearly a month and a half, we finally got our car back and it was in worse condition than before. The wheel bearing was bad, the battery was dead and the vehicle drove worse than before it broke down. Needless to say it was a death trap. So the next day after getting it back we traded it in to another dealership. Definitely would not recommend them to anyone especially their service department. You'll never get your car back, if you do it'll be in worse shape than before!!!! read more

After driving more than 30 mins to get there I was given a quote I had to accept that was double what I was ori quoted. when I asked James for explanation he was not nice about it and kept repeating an answer that had nothing to do with question I was asking. He also was rude to service tech who drove my car into garage. His attitude didn't change till a lady in higher position came out. then James whole demeanor changed to polite and helpful. The sales side: great! Fantastic. Love em. The service side: Terrible!! I have a hybrid car and apparently have been told the dealer is the only one that can work on them. They told me I had carbon build up in my fuel line and then charged me $236 to replace 4 spark plugs. They then didn't reset the reading and two days later, my engine was back on. They reset it, a week later, my LIGHT IS BACK ON! same code. So they obviously cannot do simple spark plugs correctly. They charged $500 for an air filter, spark plugs, and a "tune up." $300 of it was labor. I obviously am paying for them to continue employment of people who cannot properly work on cars. This will be the 4th time I've had to go back up there for the engine light in 2 weeks. They will not get another time out of me! read more

I am rating a two only because my car salesmen was awesome I went to finalize the sale with the finance dept and it was a horrible experience, my salesman saved me from the wrath of the man in the finance dept and had to do the job of the finance dept. Don't buy a used car here! New car experience was perfect (I've bought two there). But then purchased a used car and within a month, the PTU and Transmission failed. Beau Townsend Ford's cost of repair is a whopping $8,800. Also there was a NHTSA recall that had not been repaired when I purchased in July (the recall was issued in March 2023). No one, from sales rep to service manager to owner would answer my calls until I got the Ford/Lincoln complaint line involved (They fixed it the next day). But it had been another few weeks that the recall was fixed. Here it is October 2023 (3 months after purchase) and I'm finally getting the repair done (from someone else). It's like BT Ford was holding my car hostage. I certainly wish they would have kept it so that I can be done with it! Total rip off. I came here because I needed my aftermarket keys programmed to start my truck. I had already programmed the key fob to unlock my truck but Ford requires the use of a computer to program the key to start the engine. (I watched YouTube videos to try it myself). They told me some aftermarket keys won't program and tried to sell me a set of Ford keys at $125/each!!! So then after my keys "wouldn't program" I still was charged the $50 programming fee for nothing. Not to mention the negative grumpy old geezer that checked me in had no customer service skills what-so-ever. I'll be taking my vehicles to another dealer from now on. Gene in service was very professional. I dropped off my company vehicle to be repaired. The original price seemed kinda high after i did some research on the part. But then again these are professionals that can diagnose the problem and upon completing repair i know the issue is fixed. Unlike the average local mechanic that that fixes your vehicle and then the problem still exists. I spoke to Gene and said price was to high that its out of my budget. He offered to charge me labor only if i purchased the part on my own which i did. I saved little over $200.00 But he couldnt offer a warrantee. I accepted because i knew ford would do a great job. Car is still not operational as of February 2021. This dealership will sell customers cars that are dangerous to drive and non fixable. Please be cautious in purchasing cars from them.
