I came here after becoming FED UP with another highly rated dentist in Plantation, FL. Please feel free to message me for her name/practice so you too can avoid her and I'm happy to tell you the reasons why. Anyway, back to Beaufils... I was so nervous that I needed to find a new dentist after going to the bad one. I scoured Yelp and Google, I saw that Beaufils had great reviews. I even messaged one of my fellow Yelp Elite members to confirm that she was still happy going to this practice before I made the appointment. Part of the problem with the previous dentist was that she was looking for problems and things she could charge me for, I'm happy to report I did not experience that here. I initially came in for a cleaning and x-rays. I had previously had a crown done with the bad dentist 9 months prior to coming to Beaufils. I found out that the bad one hadn't sealed the base of the crown properly and food was getting into that area, which would cause more serious decay. Beaufils ended up replacing that crown for me. Have I mentioned I have extremely bad dental anxiety? I'm level 7 out of 10 on the scale of how anxious the dentist makes me when I need to have dental work done (cavities, crowns). Everyone that worked here was so pleasant, professional and soothing. It was a very positive experience from the front desk staff to the hygienist to the dentist. I ended up moving to North Carolina (yay!) a few months after I was established as a patient at Beaufils, but all of the interactions I had here were very positive. I have since seen a new dentist in NC and was happy to hear that the crown (take 2) had been done properly at Beaufils. read more

I went to this office a few times. The dentist was very nice. The dental assistant was rude. I simply asked if she could change the channel on the TV while they were working on my tooth. She got attitude and refused. The front lobby had peaceful scenes playing when I had come in. If you are paying for the service, I think you should be comfortable or shut the TV off. read more

I think I found my forever dental office and I have Husband to thank for it. He was the first in our family to go to Beaufils Dental and recommended the office to me. The office itself is thoroughly modern and beautifully decorated. As a new patient you will be interviewed for a medical/dental history. After you cleaning, x-ray, and exam you will be provided with a written evaluation of the health of your mouth and teeth. The staff at the office is super welcoming and friendly. I have always been taken on time. Every cleaning I have had has been very thorough. The best part about Beaufils Dental? Dr. Beaufils here myself. What comes to mind when I think of Dr. Beaufils is "a true gentleman". This dentist has such a kind and lovely manner. He also gives the most complete exam I have ever had by a dentist....every time I see him. What I really like is that he has not ordered any unnecessary procedures. This is a very HONEST dental office. The staff are all so professional and kind even during these different times (Covid!). They had all safety measures in place. This is an exceptional dental practice. The staff that runs the operation is very friendly and helpful. Every hygienist I have been with has been fantastic. Today I saw Anthony, the first male hygienist I've ever had work on my teeth (new to south Florida & new to the practice). I typically experience some sort of pain with hygienist that tend to be a little rougher but Anthony was as close to perfect as possible...no pain probably because he took his time to be more precise. The dentist always tries to make sure that I'm comfortable. He really goes out of his way to establish a plan and most of the time he isn't trying to get me to spend money like I have a hole in my pocket. He tells me what I need and what can wait. It's not often that I've experienced this and it's quite refreshing. The office uses the best equipment that you can buy as far as I can tell. They use 3D technology, they use massaging patient chairs (yes,my back feels better then my teeth when I leave). They just seem to go the extra mile and that's why I'm glad to be a patient. read more

I would highly recommend staying away from this office. They have the nastiest staff in the front office. I have been going there for years. I have never missed an appointment. I made an appointment and showed up on time. They told me they cancelled my appointment because I didn't re-confirm my original confirmation. Supposedly it is their new protocol. No one told me. Office manager told me too bad - it is Lloyd who made this protocol. They actually told me if I didn't show up they would charge me $50. Now I show up and they turn me away. I asked for my no show fee. They laughed and said I could come back next week. Stay far far away. I will be taking my entire family elsewhere. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Beaufils for over a decade now. Before Dr. Beaufils, trips to the dentist were filled with anxiety and dread. After having numerous procedures performed by Dr. Beaufils such as: cavity fillings, root canals, bridges, and crowns, trips to the dentist are no longer filled with anxiety, and have been replaced with a sense of calm and confidence, knowing the health of my teeth are in such good hands. So much so, I make trips from Michigan to see him. Dr. Beaufils does everything possible to make sure each procedure is as painless as possible, always asking about your comfort level during the procedure. In addition, to his skills as a dentist, Dr. Beaufils has great bed side manner and is always easy to talk to, and ask questions. Each and every time, I step back into the office its almost like getting together with a friend. The hygienist are always professional and courteous. The front desk is just as charming, and a pleasure to talk to. In addition, Dr. Beaufils' office has state of the art equipment such as CT scanning machines that produce diagnostic information in house very quickly. I moved to Cooper City, Fl about a year and a half ago and wanted a dentist near my house. My old one was ok but wasn't worth the drive. I came across Dr. Beaufils because of the 5* rating, and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did!! This is by far the best Dr's office I've ever been to. The entire staff is wonderful and polite. The Dr himself is a kind, gentle man who will give you his full blown attention. He will not try to rush you through so he could leave at a decent time. I love it here!!!! Dr. Beaufils loves what he does and it shows. I just went in for my cleaning and Mariana was amazing. She was gentle and took her time to make sure that my cleaning was thorough. She changed her gloves frequently and kept making sure that I was comfortable and okay. I came to Beaufils after an extent research on an excellent dentist and that's exactly what I got. From the moment I walked in to leaving the team members as Dr. Beaufils calls them were very welcoming and helpful. They explained everything in detail and most importantly with a smile. My visit today was to hopefully get my right wisdom tooth extracted. After a consultation Dr.Beaufils said it will be best if I go to an oral surgeon. Which he quickly referred me to a few and asked which one was most convenient to me. Once I decided they sent all the paper work to the oral surgeon for their consultation. While I was waiting for the doctor I mentioned to the assistant that I had not been able to get a cleaning this year and they were actually able to fit me in for a cleaning. Dr.Beaufils went ahead and gave me some good numbing needle for my toothache and Brittany the hygienist was amazing and quick! Visiting the dentist has always brought a bit of dread because it's never fun getting your teeth worked on. And I've had my share of dental work. Based on extensive research and the positive reviews all over the internet, I decided to give Dr. Beaufils a try. Honestly, I wish I'd found them sooner! Everyone in the office goes out of their way to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. It's very clear that Dr. Beaufils genuinely cares about his patients. During my initial consult, he palpated my jaw and neck to check for signs of infection. No dentist has ever done that to me before. When I had to get a minor procedure done, he gave me a shot of anesthetic and went very slowly to minimize injection site pain. I could hardly feel it, compared to many previous procedures I've had elsewhere. To me, that's just a small example of his kindness and consideration for his patients. Made an appointment to see Dr Beaufils based on all the 5 star reviews here on Yelp but it didn't go as well as I expected. I booked my wife and I in for an x-ray, exam, and cleaning package. When I booked the appointment a few weeks ago, no one told me that we wouldn't be actually seeing Dr Beaufils for the exam & consultation. We instead were instead seen by another doctor, Dr Lopez, who was not very impressive. She poked my wife's teeth extremely hard during her exam, even after she told her it was too hard. My wife also noticed once she got home that one of her front teeth is freshly chipped! Both our hygienists were very nice and gentle. Wish we could have said the same about Dr Lopez. read more

After an awful experience with another dentist trying to charge me for fillings and a root canal I didn't need I'm very grateful I found Dr. Beaufils and his excellent staff. He is honest and doesn't try and make you pay for something you don't need. Cristina and the entire staff are really nice and genuinely care about your health. They really went above and beyond to help diagnose and treat a small fracture in a tooth caused by a previous dentist filling that was so bad I couldn't chew on one side and too small to see on an x-ray. Dr. Beaufils, is amazing! My husband has been going to him and then i decided to steal him from my husband. My husband had nothing but wonderful things to say and i can see why. He is very calm and nature and makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable! I have never had that experience at a dentist office (aside from here). He is very meticulous and has a great personality! His assistant eases the pain by distracting you! The staff is amazing seriously! They are curious, helpful, friendly and make you feel as if you are apart of their family! Dr. Beaufils and his staff not only did a fantastic job on my root canal...but the overall office experience was outstanding. From the second I walked in the door, until I left my appointment, I never felt ignored, abandoned, confuses or frustrated as I have previously experienced in other medical offices. They obviously understand the importance proper scheduling as patience including myself were not left to rot in the waiting room like many offices. Dr. Beaufils was very patient with me for my first ever root canal, which I was very nervous about,...he and his lovely assistant work kid gloves with me during the entire process. His assistant actually stroked my forehead during the Novocaine injection(s) to relax my nerves...who else does that? :~) The entire process was painless and fast. I left the office feeling Confident and Comfortable about my procedure and the work that was performed. Lastly, IMPORTANT**** I walked in Dr. Beaufils office with an estimate (Dental Plan) for my procedure from another Dentist that I visited earlier that day,...I had a suspicion that the prices were highly inflated...and they were! Dr. Beaufils quoted a price of 1/2... 50% lower than my original estimate. At the end of the day, I received better service for a lower price. I rarely write reviews for anything,...however, my experience with this office was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share my opinions with everyone as it is well deserved. The best experience I've ever had at the dentist. The front desk attendant Vivian was extremely nice! She was very pleasant and was able to work with me on scheduling my next visit. The hygienist Sulay (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was amazing. I felt very comfortable having her work on my mouth. She was very delicate while working on me. The dentist Dr Beaufils was very personable, I felt he really cares about his patients. His examination was very thorough. He not only cares about the health of your teeth but also preventing other health issues that may be caused by miss care of dental hygiene. This was the best experience hands-down. Like most of the people, I dislike going to the dentist and I avoid it by all means. I found Beaufils dental two weeks ago when my wisdom teeth was hurting really bad. All the process was a breeze, they make some space in their tight agenda on the same day and led me through the entire process of the extraction, what should I do before and post the extraction. Two days after, Dr. Beaufils extracted my teeth, quick and painlessly. To complete the great experience, all the staff from this dental practice is awesome, they are patient, they show empathy with you and try to avoid any discomfort the dental procedures may generate. EXACTLY what anyone would hope for at the dentist. I am not sure where to begin. I love so many of the details they put into making this place grand. Above and beyond the care is to say the least. From the way they greet you on the phone, to knowing who you are as soon as you approach the desk. This place knows how to make every visit personal to you. My first day I knew this place was different. The vibe and culture of the office is wholistic. Meaning they care about your overall health, your oral hygiene and your experience at the office. My first visit the Dr sat and discussed my options very patiently, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I had left my previous dentist to come to this one (refereed by a friend) to get a second opinion on the options I had to correct my teeth. They were willing to work with me and to address my needs and concerns. I could go on and on about how they handled my unique situation and provided me with patient centered care. The finance department is amazing and gentle. Always there to provide you with options and polite follow up calls.
