Honestly I would have NEVER had my wisdom teeth extracted especially after two of my friends informed me of their subsequent extreme pain for 4 days which apparently is quite common. Side note: they had their extractions w/ different dentists. If I had known this guy was a miracle worker I would've done this procedure a lot sooner. FYI, I don't have a high threshold for pain and to my pleasant surprise I had absolutely ZERO pain. The next day I had slight discomfort and a little swelling but absolutely no pain and that's what I was dreading every morning when I woke up. I cannot thank Dr Hosseini and his incredible staff for a wonderful experience for something that is commonly associated with pure pain. I'm still in shock that I had zero pain but this dentist has a loyal patient in me for life.

This certainly raises concerns about office policies and how to best serve the medical needs of patients and not hard selling items that may or not be necessary. What's most disturbing is none of the recommendations came from a certified doctor, but rather a dental assistant or the receptionist. Never going back!

I knew I HAD to get my joints moving again and to regain the sense of calm and rhythm that yoga can bring to one's life. I needed the nurturing of my yogi-sisters again. I started by attending some of the on-line/remote classes in the privacy of my own home. This was an excellent place to begin as I am very self conscience of the weight I've gained and my lack of flexibility. No one to see me struggle, no one to see my pudgy gut. There are many styles of yoga offered at ShineOn and I have chosen to attend those classes that are "Low & Slow" (my term) so that I don't strain this old body of mine. I am partial to the Restorative/Yin class offered on-line on Monday mornings and the Yin/Restorative flow on Thursdays, both lead by Cynthia. Both of those classes are ideal for anyone who wants to stretch those muscles and get those joints fluid, so I encourage anyone who is a little out of shape to start there. As I get stronger and more confident again, I'll start attending the 'flow' classes regularly too. Ashtanga, VInyasa and Kundalini classes are offered as well - and even some classes in Spanish! But meanwhile I'll cautiously build my practice with the gentle and nurturing "Low & Slow" classes at ShineOn. And as a result, I'll be better at practicing patience with myself too as I transition.

I have seen a couple hygienist and they have both done a great job. I had a new crown put in here and it fits great. At my old dentist, they would have to make adjustments. The dentist did it right the first time here. I have been taken on time each time I have an appointment. Depending on the time of day, parking can be a little tricky. They take many brands of insurance.
