Just my luck--I cracked a tooth right before the Christmas holiday. My periodontist recommended I see Dr. Birns. I left an after-hours voicemail fully expecting to hear back after the new year, but to my surprise, Dr. Birns called me 2 days later on a Sunday afternoon. She had just returned from vacation, was checking messages, and managed to fit me in that following Monday. I couldn't believe my luck and jumped on the appointment immediately. Her office staff was wonderful, and Dr. Birns is absolutely superb. She smoothed the tooth, placed a temporary crown, and sent me on my way. A little over a week later, I returned for my permanent crown, and everything was perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Birns--she's funny, knowledgeable, and truly caring. I sincerely hope she has no plans of retiring anytime soon because she's officially my dentist going forward. read more

It was my first visit, they told me they couldn't do a cleaning on first visit, but they would do x-rays and a consult. They did my x-rays and barely said five words to me before kicking me out of the room and charging me a copay. When I asked about what they saw on my x-rays, she tells me oh, I'm going to look now and I'll tell you when you schedule a cleaning... Like you guys charged me for a consult and x-rays and I most certainly didn't get the consult at all. Do not come here. They still use fluoride mouthwash for God's sake. Very outdated office. I so wanted to love this dentist - in network and $2000 coverage to use- first off parking is minimal - office is in odd location behind a barbershop across from strip mall/bar- when you park the marijuana smell may knock you out- I special appointment at least week or two before I got there -called several times to confirm along with directions how to get to the place- spoke to the young lady the day before and I believe that morning on my way in- very very small office with a lot of clutter does not look like a medical professional whatsoever-could pass for a massage office or reiki healer at best- checked in they gave me the paperwork to fill out I'm halfway through the dentist comes out calls me up to the front and said they can't see me then I'd have to wait an hour-meanwhile I had called and verified the time at least 2x - when I asked which of the girls took the phone call none of them would confess they said they'd never spoke to me-I knew which one it was cuz I could recognize your voice but I really didn't want to get her in trouble so I gave him the clipboard back and walked out of the office-she had already told me the same story as the original poster on this Yelp she could do a consult an x-ray maybe a cleaning-well I'm sure in her day she was a phenomenal dentist I hate to say it but maybe time to hang up the towel slow, unprofessional situation- just not up to par with what's really going on in 2022 with state of the art dental office - for another day was very disappointing after I driven 15 to 20 minutes each way to get to her and wasted my time and gas-after her office assistance are clueless and Cooper City makes no sense at all save your time and energy and find somewhere else to go- read more

I had an appointment with the office for a teeth cleaning at 8:00 AM. I arrived and was silently greeted with a thermometer. I mentioned that I had just been checked for the Covid 19 and was negative. A women asked me why I had been tested and I said in an abundance of caution I had the test because I had either a head cold or sinus problems, and I did not want to come for a dental procedure without checking. She informed me that I would have to reschedule because of Board of Heath regulations. I just left. I am not infectious and showed the receptionist the test results. It made no difference to this lady, I will reschedule elsewhere. read more

After a terrible experience with a certain dentist who will go nameless and a bait and switch experience with this other horrible person, I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful Doctor Robin Birns. She was kind, pleasant, patient as were the office staff. My whole family goes to Drs Robin and Bradley because they are reasonable, gentle, careful and kind. From cleanings to yucky root canals I've endured it all with their help . I'm reminded to return as needed and referred as needed to other professionals for such procedures as implants and braces. read more

Went to this dentist office because it was highly recommended to me, what a mistake. I am an experienced dental patient because I have gum disease and therefore I have to get deep cleaning/scaling at least twice a year, thus my experience with these dental procedures. Well, this place pretended to perform the deep cleaning but the procedure was botched badly. First off, the so call doctor performed the procedure there was no hygienist in sight, from my experience, and in previous dental offices, they initially apply the drill like instrument to remove the top layer of rust and deposit off the teeth then they use the manual dental tools to get deep under the gum line and remove the so called pockets of calcified dirt, then they rinse thoroughly with water and a medicated rinse to prevent swelling and infection and to finish off the deep scaling they apply a fluoride type treatment to the teeth, each quadrant as they called them takes approximately 25-35 minutes to deep clean/scale. These jokers at this place took around 30 minutes to do both, no regular rinse, they charged me extra for the medicated rinse y did not apply any fluoride whatsoever to finish the job, PLEASE STAY AWAY from this place, find yourself a REAL dentist and you will be ok . I feel like I was robbed by an old lady with a medical uniform who had no idea what she was doing, she must had seeing it done by someone else and pretended to imitate what she had seen done, BAD experience. read more

I am a nurse and an infection control fanatic. So is Dr Birns! Love this office. From Susan, greeting you with compassion and competence at the front desk, to everyone in the back soothing this dentophobe patient, to the "family" treatment given by Dr Bradley and Dr. Robin - they are the best! STAY AWAY!!!! .... Everything about this place is wrong, when I first made the appointment I stated my insurance and they replied with they excepted it. The day I go for my visit I had to wait behind this guy who was going out with the rude secretary. She did not even care to speak with me when I walked in after filling out all the paper work and from what I can hear here I can sense a problem. keep in mind this place was on my insurance company's provider list. watching the whole time it seemed as tho the interns they had did more work than anyone. It sounded like the secretary did not want to do her job that day telling me she spoke with someone at my insurances place and I had medicaid which is not true at all... then only offering me discount on services and that my Medicaid was not excepted yet I clearly have insurance. Such a scam this place is they lure people in and do not give them what they initially promised. As soon as I left the office I called my insurance company and asked them about this place and if they where on their provider list and if I had insurance and not Medicaid and I was correct. She stated that she could call thru to the office if I wanted so she could help figure everything out. She quickly spoke back to me and said they denied everything and that they would not answer her questions. And it was best if I just looked into another provider Please fire your secretary who does nothing for you. read more
