For our two Cairyn terrier mix pups, we started with Beaus this spring after an unsuccessful search for kind, competent, and dog loving groomer(s). These people fit the bill in a big way. Our two babies come out with their pretty bows on, looking really fine. The cuts were just right and one dog, Starbucks, was so impressed with herself, that it's funny how she perched like a sphinx on the back seat!. They have been patient with our crazy schedules, often getting mixed up, and a couple of big illnesses this past May. They also do just about any reasonable request, such as medical soap shampoos (Starbucks has bad skin allergies, we bring the soap, of course). They are always on time with pickups and they do extremely well with handling us, the always worried and ever- calling parents! In short, if you want your dog to have grooming done by someone who actually likes your pup, and gives it hugs and is kind too--this is the place to get wet! read more

I have taken my baby to Beaus twice now and both times I have had an amazing experience! My fur baby is very good at letting me know quickly if a place is "off". Something I noticed when I went in both times to Beaus was the lack of nervous barking babies! If you are an owner you might relate to this, I could see the pups, and they were working on plenty; so this tells me SO much about what's going on in the facility. **EDIT - if I could give ZERO i would. I was asked to call the salon or they would be responding on yelp. I told them I wasn't changing my review and that it was not a good idea to continue the conversation because I didn't feel it could be solved and I didn't want to be disrespectful. They then posted about me in a local downtown group blasting me as a bad customer saying I posted bad reviews and was a good liar. They also were on facebook saying that taking my dog to another groomer would be traumatizing because they would have to get to know new people while in the same post saying it was new people working and thats why they didn't know who he was? Also said it was him that was going to suffer. So now they are calling me dramatic while blasting me in a local Facebook group and question my pet parenting when I have had my dog for 12 years and always do what's best by him. Get outta here. It's borderline comical. I have been going Beaus since 2017. The last year two out of his four groomings were sub par - once I dropped off at 11 and was not told they were short staffed and he was there past close and when I picked him up he was still wet with no nail or paw pad trim. It happened a second time that his paws were forgotten. I don't mind price increases but the price went from $55 to $75 and twice the service was not worth the cost. I understand everyone has bad days and everyone there is friendly so I took him again today. I was called to pick him up and got there in about 15 minutes. Paid for my service and was handed the wrong report card for a dog not even close to my dogs name. I said that wasn't my dog and handed it back and grabbed his. The staff then went to the back to get him and came back saying SHE DIDNT KNOW WHERE HE WAS. Another girl went to look and also didn't know where he was. I kept it together but I was close to losing it and my heart was pounding. I was so scared they lost my dog. They finally found him and I think from their conversations there was a mix up with him and the dog they gave me a report card for. The lack of professionalism when they didn't know where he was - all discussing it in front of me so casually. One of the staff said they need to start labeling the kennels and clearly they do. I was panicked that my dog was lost and everyone was so causal about it and it made me so upset. He does look great this groom - nothing was omitted. But I have lost all sense of comfort leaving my dog there if they don't know who he is or where he is. I had already paid $75 with a $15 tip and wanted some sort of refund but I left without saying a thing because I would have lost my temper. There is NO WAY this acceptable. How well as he actually tended to if no one there knew who he was? Or where he was? Never again. And I will never make a recommendation for this groomer. read more

These guys are just the best. You can tell every one of them really love the dogs they work with, and they care for each one in the way they need. Our doggo has anxiety and gets really worried about leaving Mom & Dad, but they work with him so well here. Now, he loves going for a spa day! I would say his breed doesn't need a trim so we're only going for a bath, but his coat is so soft and he actually smells GREAT when he comes home! This was one of the absolute worst grooming experiences we have EVER had. To start, we made our appointment for the next day at 8 am, and when we went in she said our appointment was next month. She seemed inconvenienced to get our boy in when they had asked us to come in the next morning. when I called they quoted us $80 for a full groom (they were offering 20% off services in October). When we picked him up, he was very uneven, spots had been missed, and she didn't even TOUCH the inside of his ears. At the checkout I confirmed that the quote was $80, she replied yes then proceeded to try to charge me $145!! When I brought this to the manager her response was less than kind. She angrily told me that a quote is an estimate and it's not what you'll pay. I told her that yes, it's a quote, but you shouldn't be charged almost TWICE the amount you're quoted? The customer service was awful, professionalism is lacked and the quality of work even worse. To add fuel to the fire, she knicked my baby in over 5 places on his body. She knicked him so badly on his tail that he couldn't sit for a week. I will NEVER be bringing my baby back here, and I highly recommend that you don't either. Extremely disappointing. Also thought I'd add that we are returning customers and have been going here for years. I've never had an issue, but this was completely unacceptable. We had never been charged more than $100 for a full groom. For the prices to increase by 50% and for the business to not notify customers is outrageous and scamful. Don't quote someone half price to get them to come to your business AND to do a terrible job at that. It's disgusting. read more

6/17/22 I LOVED how my K-9 was groomed and unless I was deployed he would be there once a month. Then I started to notice that every time I pulled up to the business he would start to tremble uncontrollably. Now I don't know why he would do this as he is 5 years old and has been groomed since he was a baby - but what I DO know is that if I am the first customer of the day - I should be the first to pick up my boy. He is only 13 pounds, and so sweet! This time he was there 4 hours and I watched as others that had come in after me picked up their K-9s before me! Beware! Don't bring a puppy or young dog here. My partner and I brought my 5 month old dog here. He is extremely well behaved. They claimed he was too hyper so they couldn't groom him (even though they were able to trim his face somewhat). They tried to charge us for $90 for a full service grooming. They told us to bring him back a month later bc they claimed he would be less hyper then. They just want to double charge you in a short amount of time. They also "clipped" his nails but didn't shave them so it made them more sharp. We went to King Pup Grooming and they expressed how calm & great our dog was. No issues. Highly recommend! read more

I have taken him to this business. since he was born, and the service has been wishy washy, from The beginning, one day they left my labradoodle with such a bad hair cut that he looked that those Peruvian dogs that didn't have any hair on them. I let that one go. Although I knew I had to do something about it and never come Back. But I gave the benefit of the doubt. Today the owner was very rude. When I asked for a specific hair cut. One they had made before. She told me " We are not miracle workers" Although I understand that sometimes she can't control how her workers do their job, you never tell that to your customers. I don't recommend this place to anyone! Their customer service sucks! And their work is not consistent. I really hope that no other dog goes thru what my dog had to endure while he was there. I also want to point out that my furry friend also got very nervous every time I took him there. I am just happy I made the decision to write this review. And to never come Back. The owner & management are rude!! I have tried Beau's a couple of times, the first time was terrifying because the owner was so rude. I called after I left the first time and was going to talk to the owner about the rude employee that I dealt with and found out that the rude employee was actually the owner. So, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I tried them again and the same lady, the owner, was rude to me. I asked my spouse to deal with her to see if she was going to be rude to her as well and guess what, she was! There is a positive side. Once you are done dealing with the owner if you get to talk to the people who actually groom your animal they are great! I kind of felt sorry for them having to deal with that all day. Overall the experience is a real beating. I am going to go to Pets Mart or one of the many other dog groomers around Denton and avoid the BEATING from now on. read more

My very friendly, loving dog went in to get a hair cut and a wash and when My wife went to pick him up(both eyes were bloodshot red) I called them when I got home from lunch after my wife picked them up and asked what they did to my dog. They asked me to bring him up there so they can take a look at him, like they were a vet and could do something. I took my dog to the local vet near my house and I was told he was probably strangled. My dog is always on a leash and very use to being in a kennel. On top of everything, he loves water. No reason why he would ever fight to get away or anything. These people will torture your dogs. Took my dog here for the first time and when I came in the door the staff did not say anything to me or my dog. They grabbed my dog's leash out of my hand and took him back without saying a word. People on the phone said things that were not true such as what shots dogs needed and schedule . Staff is not on the same page and rude to one another in front of customers.
