I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated at Michelle Nails by Danny, the owner\…read more About two weeks ago, my family and I were leaving for vacation, and I wanted a chrome color to match my vacation outfits\. Michelle Nails didn't have the chrome color I wanted, so I still went to Danny for my regular fill, but without a design\. After that, I went to another local nail salon that had the exact chrome color I was looking for\. As a customer, I believe I have the right to choose where I receive different services\. At my most recent appointment with Danny, the first thing he asked me was, "Why didn't you go to whoever did your chrome?" I was caught completely off guard\. I respectfully explained that I went elsewhere because he didn't have the color I wanted, and that I should be able to choose where I spend my money\. From that moment on, his attitude toward me changed\. I've been a loyal client for years\. I regularly pay between $150 and $180, plus a tip, for every appointment\. I also bring my own nail designs, many of which I've later seen recreated on other clients\. Despite how uncomfortable I felt during this appointment, I still paid the full $180 and left a tip because, as always, he does beautiful work\. After I paid, he told me that I could no longer come back and that this would be my last service with him\. He said I should go back to the salon that did my chrome\. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and honestly discriminated against because I chose to get one part of my nail service somewhere else when he couldn't provide what I wanted\. No customer should be made to feel punished for spending their own money where they choose\. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Michelle Nails or Danny? I'd love to hear your thoughts\. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of where they choose to receive other services\. Update: went to go get a refund and was argued with for 15 minutes and told I wouldn't get a refund. The entire experience was horrible. This is the worst nail salon around. DO NOT GO HERE. Will be reporting them to the BBB. In the end they would only give me half a refund. Horrible service. Horrible store. The worst.
