Very unprofessional and super slow with getting our photos back. We booked them for both engagement and wedding package and that was a mistake. After our engagement shoot it took him 1 month to give our photos back. His editing is very basic, he just did lots of sepia and black and white filters. He asked for 60 photos to design our album and I sent those back to him. It took him another 2 months to give us a proof of the album. Now let me tell you, the proof of our album looked nothing like their samples in their studio. It was a terrible design, it looked super lazy and very little effort. I had to make notes and edit each and every page of his proof. And i sent that back. We waited for a few weeks and didn't hear back and we had enough. Not only was his time management terrible and incredibly slow, his work sucked!! Totally felt catfished. We decided to let them go as our photographers for the wedding and he said we had to pay a $500 fee for cancelling. Keep in mind we gave them a $1000 deposit already. No where in their contract does it state there is a fee and he said doesn't matter there is a cancellation fee. He held our album and large canvas print hostage. (Not sure if he even got those done because he works so slow) We didn't feel this was legal, so we spoke with our lawyer and he agreed they legally couldn't charge us a fee. When we mentioned we spoke with our lawyer he immediately told us he doesn't feel comfortable working with us anymore and ghosted us since. So we paid him $1000 for a photo shoot with no product except the digital photos that had terrible/basic editing. We ended up doing another photo shoot with another photographer for only 1 hr and we loved every single photo we got from her!! This guy spent like 5 hrs with us and we barely got like 5 photos we like. You definitely get what you pay for, so be careful booking him if you want to cherish your special day. read more

The worst service I have received in at least the last 3-4 years in any place. I think this story can summarize how terrible it was. I work in the service industry, I never, EVER disrespect anyone. I did not raise my voice and I remained patient and I believe patience is what can kill horrible service people. 1. Our photos are shot but they do not inform anyone that the photos are available 2. I come back and ask for the photo. There are 2 piles of 30-50 photos in each. 3.She gives me 1 of the piles and instructs me to GO ACROSS THE HALL. There is a 2nd pile FYI. 4. I go across the hall and my photo is not in there so I ask for the 2nd pile and she says NO. 5. I ask to have a reprint and she says IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. I look on her screen and I see my digital photo! I ask her to print it and she finally concedes. 6.She tells me I have to wait... as she does absolutely nothing. Checks her phone. I still remain calm. 7. By this time my family has taken 2 rounds of shots and I realize it wasn't worth it to make a point so I tell her to have a nice night. I would recommend them for all your engagement and wedding photos. Stop by and check out their work. They are super warm and sincere. Compare to everywhere around Westminster: the customer service, quality in the photos, and their style speaks for itself. They don't just shoot local areas like the beach (typical bleh). We took our engagement/wedding photos at San Juan Capistrano and it was beautiful. My sister had her photoshoot in San Diego where the historic classical buildings were. Also, the owner Kathy, also has a team that does hair and makeup. Her prices were very reasonable and she wanted to start early on my wedding day to ensure nobody is rushed. Her team drove all the way to corona at 5am to do a party of 10 before my tea ceremony. Omg they were so efficient! And the BEST PART, she offered free touchup at their studio before my reception. So everybody was fresh by nighttime!!!! Who does that!?!? I'm so happy with the results of my photos, video, makeup and hair. Total package this place is!!! read more

In a nutshell, if you care about high quality photography/videography, professional and detailed décor arrangements, or enthusiastic and caring wedding consultant, Beautiful Wedding is the place to go. Now to go in details, Kathy is absolutely wonderful at what she does. She's caring and enthusiastic in listening to your ideas and what you need and want. She took off a lot of stress for me, especially with the flowers décor. Everyone loved my makeup and hair and the important thing was Kathy and her staff listened to what I preferred and liked when it came to certain hair style or shade of eye shadow or lipstick. I was very pleased with my makeup and hair. Our wedding color was tiffany blue, white and silver and Kathy and her staff took in everything and made the ceremony and reception lit up elegantly with exactly those three colors. I also told them that I wanted the main flower color to be coral and indeed, the whole reception décor as well as our bouquets were beautifully designed with peach/coral roses mixed in with other pastel colors. Kathy and I brainstormed on several different kinds of centerpieces and in the end, she made this simple but amazing centerpiece with calla lilies and orchids inside the vase that topped with crystals (that was my wedding theme: lots of crystals) and lit candles. I couldn't be more satisfied. All I did was told them what I wanted and they made every little thing happen gorgeously. The best keepsake from our wedding was our stunning and romantic wedding pictures. Phuong put in so much effort in every picture and scene that was set up so the pictures can look as natural as possible. I am very into the natural, candid type of pictures and everyone who looked at our pictures has commented that our pictures look so dreamy and romantic. I must have looked at our wedding photo albums 100 times and still very impressed with every shot taking by Phuong. He constantly research on the most recent techniques and ideas so he can apply them to make customers, like my husband and I, speechless with his work. First off, let me start by saying that I am a serious bargain shopper. I'll search for the finest quality for the best price. My fiance and I were on a very tight budget for our wedding. I scoured the internet for bargains for a photographer, florist, baker and chair covers, etc. Most good photographers were charging $2500 to $4200. Bakers were charging $2.50 to $6 a slice, and chair covers w/ sash had service, tax and delivery charges. It was by chance that I happened upon Kathy and Beautiful Wedding Photo. I had saved a "Thank you" photo from my cousin's wedding and noticed the fine quality. Being Asian, I HAD to have "Thank you" photos taken at my wedding and most American photographers didn't incorporate that into their package. I called Beautiful Wedding Photo and s/w Kathy. She is the owner amd wife of one of the photographers. I was immediately impressed upon entering their studio. They had tons of wedding and engagement albums for you to view as well as large engagement and wedding photos that are framed. I also couldn't say enough about Kathy. She is friendly, patient, kind and willing to bargain. I got my photography, w/ CD, "thank you" photos and album for well under $2K. This includes the photographer for the entire event. Chair covers w/ sash is $2.50/ chair (incl tax, no service or delivery charge). Cake feeding 120 ppl for $200 ($150 + $50 delivery for 28 RT miles). Flowers for under $1,000 (we had 10 total in wedding party. Plus 2 mothers and 13 family boutonniere. They also do make-up, hair and dress rentals. Kathy knew I was on a tight budget and was kind enough to lower some prices for me and threw in a free grooms boutonniere. Shopping for wedding service and items can be stressful, intimidating and pushy (when dealing w/ VN people). Kathy made the whole experience SO MUCH EASIER. I would highly recommend her and Beautiful Wedding Photo all day long. read more

You get what you pay for. I really regret not spending more on photography when it came to my wedding. I was too hung over the idea of getting all the digital prints (which they give you). They did a good job with the "Thank you" photos and their prices are very good, but the wedding day pictures are uninspired. It's really my fault though, I should have known better. Thank goodness my brother's friends are all amateur photographers who took lots of pictures during the wedding so I have lots to choose from. If you don't care too much about the photography of your wedding day and want to save some money, they are ok. I must say Kathy was very nice and easy to work with. We booked Beautiful wedding for our welcome/thank-you photo session with our guests and their service was superb! The photographer took his job seriously and gave pointers where to stand etc., making the experience more personal. We got married back in 2007 and looking back I still believe that their service is exceptional. I had 3 make up artist and it boils down that Kathy is the best. Kathy did my pre wedding photo shoot make up and she really knows how to do bridal make up that brings out your beauty. I have never felt so pretty in my life. I felt prettier at the photo shoot than on my wedding day. I regret I didn't have her do my make up on the day of. The staff there are great too. I love love love the service here, especially the owner Thy! She is the sweetest person!! So i came in to talk about the wedding photography, twice, spending quite a few hours there. :(. I love the style and all the photo angles in the sample albums. The deal is pretty good too, compared to all the place i shopped around, Beautiful wedding offers the best for your bucks, im serious! When i talked to Thy, she explained to me about what i should do and what was the best for the budget. SHe threw in some extras stuffs for me since she knew i was saving for my wedding!!
