In my dream of dreams I never could have imagined a more beautiful wedding. Being from Kansas City,…read morewe have very limited options when it comes to the an all-inclusive South Asian wedding decorating. You have to hire a separate draping company, linen company, florist/design, and lighting company. Drish Couture Events introduced to me to Shaadi Creations and there was no looking back after meeting Sonal and Mayank. I had ideas and a budget and Sonal and Mayank were able to create a dream wedding within our budget! At our initial meeting, Drish and I had laid out some inspirations for the Grah Shanti and Wedding but the reception was where I was the most confused after searching through endless Pinterest boards. When I mentioned Vintage Glamour, Sonal totally got what I was going for and immediately started showing me pictures and looks of ideas that encapsulated glamorous vintage. The mandap I had a picture of was a double mandap that had to be constructed from scratch at the actual venue all the way in Kansas City. They not only recreated the look but enhanced it with pops of color, floral cuffs and amber lighting that created a soft romantic glow. From the Grah Shanti was jewel toned Sabyasachi inspired. From the Grah Shanti to the wedding to the reception, Shaadi Creations took my breath away by the beauty ambience and splendid environment they created. Each event was unique and gorgeous and beyond my greatest expectations. People have said they have never seen such a beautiful wedding in Kansas City and this is all because of their creative genius and architectural design. I cannot express to you how wonderful it was to not have a single concern about the decorations being completed on time. They went above and beyond in every aspect. I'm waiting on the professional pictures but I will post pictures friends have sent!

From the first time meeting Nisar I knew that he would be a true delight to work with. His talent and vision was spot on to what we were looking for. We went with a elegant Parisian themed wedding reception with rich, swank colors, uplighting, floor to ceiling pipe and drape, crystal candelabras, gorgeous luxurious linens and much more! Shaadi Creations nailed ever aspect of this and beyond. With being a smaller wedding event planner myself, I never not trusted Nisar and his team...when I walked in that ballroom for the first time I was absolutely speechless. When guests walked into the room they were also speechless and felt like they were just warped into Paris for the wedding of the year. Words can not thank Nisar and his team for what they have done for my husband and I. We are forever grateful for their talent and hard work. Thank you Nisar for not only providing us with your talent but for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!

My mother and step-father insisted we have a day of coordinator for our wedding. My mother found…read moreand set up a meeting with Cynthia about 2 months before our June 2010 wedding. When we met her at our house she had was very organized writing down any concerns we had about the day. I gave her a timeline that I had created for the wedding party, our caterers contact info, florist phone number, ceremony/reception information, a list of a decorations we were using and how we wanted to decorate the space. My husband and I had pretty much everything in place but as I said before my mother insisted that we get a DOC because my father-in-law was very sick and my mom wanted any stress about the wedding to be taken away. Cynthia had another wedding the day of our rehearsal so her assistant, Cameron came to help with the rehearsal. Everyone in the wedding party (i.e. bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, ring bearer, pastor, musicians, my mom & step-father, and my mother-in-law) was at the rehearsal and the run through went fine. The wedding day did not run as smoothly. I am pretty easy going and many things that bothered my step-father, mother, and husband did not hit me as hard the day of the wedding. But looking back on the day now I think it would have run smoother if we stuck with the timeline & job list my husband and I put together. 1) Cynthia didn't know who the florist was, nor when they were to arrive or where. However, I gave her the name of the florist the first time we met. 2) My step-father dropped me and my mom off at the wedding hall on time. All the guests were to have been seated for the ceremony; they were not. Probably half the guests were in the lobby and we (me, my mom, and step-father) had to walk through everyone before the wedding ceremony 3) It is difficult for my mother-in-law to walk so before the ceremony she was leaning against the wall at the back of ceremony room waiting for my husband (my father-in-law passed away 2 weeks before our wedding). He was going to walk her down the aisle to her seat at the start of the ceremony, which we went over at the rehearsal the day before with Cameron. My husband told me that Cynthia went over to his mother and rudely told her to sit down in a seat. When my mother-in-law told her who she was, Cynthia just walked away and did not apologize. 4) After the ceremony we all went outside for appetizers and to take pictures. When we came back in all the tables were to be ready and name tags in place for guests to pick up, so they would know where to sit. The name tags were not in place and there was a lot of confusion; no one knew where to go. 5) Cynthia had (I think) 2 assistants with her the day of our wedding. However, no one was outside helping us with photos, which is something we told her we would like during our first meeting with her 6) My mom got several calls from Cynthia after our first meeting. However, my mom told her not to call her and to contact us directly with any questions about the wedding. My mom has admitted that hiring Cynthia and Everlasting Elegant Weddings to help us the day of our wedding was an expensive mistake for our budget conscious wedding. My husband still wonders what Cynthia and her assistants did most of the night while at our wedding.

I can't say enough amazing things about Sylwia and her team - our day went off without a hitch and she thought of every small detail. She listened to what I wanted (even if it was slightly outrageous), and delivered in every way. She planned every detail and was able to handle a very energetic bridal party and members of the family. We had a 300 person Polish wedding, and Sylwia was so organized and efficient throughout it all. Somehow, she was everywhere all at once and juggled so many tasks. We are so happy we chose Rebel & Lace Events to coordinate our wedding. Sylwia also has decorator experience, and helped me with some centerpiece details at my venue. It all looked so beautiful. I really can't imagine the day without Sylwia and her team!

From the FIRST meeting with Arin, I knew this was going to be a special…read moreexperience- she had pre-reserved our dream venue (The Field Museum!) just in case we wanted to get married in November... which we did! Arin is so full of ideas, kindness, and energy- she took my vision of color and RAN WITH IT... leading all of our vendors to create the absolute night of my dreams. Arin is incredibly responsive (nights, weekends, ALWAYS), organized, and creative. She wished me luck and sent me coffee before my dress shopping, asked for updates during my bachelorette, and even texted mere DAYS after giving birth to wish me well on wedding day. Arin shines so bright - and is a safe space in what can be a crazy/confusing industry. I am so thankful to Arin for the happiest night of my life- looking back, there isn't ONE THING I would change. It was perfect.

If I could give BCB 10 stars, I would. They are amazing!…read more We recently worked with BCB to plan and execute my son's Bar Mitzvah (they do more than just weddings!). We had the privilege of working with Susan and Johnna. Susan is a visionary who can help you dream big and tap into your imagination, and Johnna makes all your dreams realities. Our event was held at 1970 N Lincoln (formerly Stanleys), which has been closed for almost a decade. Susan and Johnna were magicians and made the venue come to life, ensuring we had the epic dance party we envisioned. No detail was left unattended, from the creative catering to the security to the coat check to the lighting, the DJ, the party's flow, and then some. After the event, there was an issue with our bus company in which one bus never arrived. BCB was able to get a last-minute bus to come, all without letting me know, so that I could enjoy the party and not stress. I cannot recommend them enough. I only wish I had another party to throw so I could work with them again. If you're looking for an incredibly creative, thoughtful, detail-oriented, fun-loving, caring team to throw your next big event, look no further than Big City Bride. They are THE BEST!

The company itself and the manager, Frank, are a different story. We found ConceptOne Photography at a bridal expo that we attended sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2021. Our wedding was October 2022. So we were looking for vendors with plenty of time to make things as less stressful as possible. Out of all the photographers and studios we spoke to, we really liked ConceptOne. It was within budget and offered different services depending on the package you chose. We chose a package that included the engagement shoot and Photo Booth. We also paid for video service that was supposed to have a YouTube link with our wedding video to share with friends and family. We never got that link. We only received our video on a USB drive and it was only after so many emails and calls requesting our video. Our wedding was on October 1st of 2022. We got our wedding albums in the mail, June 8th 2023. Eight whole months after our wedding. Back in March 2023, we were told via email by Sara from ConceptOne, that it would take 4-6 weeks for us to receive our albums in the mail. Eight months is way past the 4-6 weeks that we were told. When I asked for updates, I wouldn't get responses for days and the last email I sent requesting an update went completely unanswered. There were countless phone calls from me and my husband to Frank, the manager. We had left voicemails, and it got to the point where Frank wasn't calling me back, but only calling my husband back. We felt that Frank was giving us the run-around and avoiding us. This is supposed to be a 4-5 star company. If you're so overwhelmed with clients, stop overlapping clients or hire more people. That's not an excuse for you to ignore clients. Frank never ignored our calls when we still had a balance owed, but the second services were paid off, radio silence. It almost made us feel like we got scammed which is not a feeling we want to associate with our wedding day.
