First, I was lied to by the NEW management more than a handful of times about scheduling with my stylist I've been going to for a year. They told me she wasn't available for weeks (literally has never happened ever), and I could try a new technician, i just needed a quick one week fill - and it had been my experience before that all the employees were amazing. The girl who did my fill totally wrecked my eyelashes. They were glued together and there was hardly any skill involved. It broke my natural lashes and took about 2 months to finally get back to healthy and normal. And every time I tried to book with Mia after that, I was pushed off over and over to go to a new stylist. Finally I got out of them today that she doesn't work there anymore. There are officially NO original stylists left at this salon. NONE of them are trained in the credible Longmi technique. If you'd like a reputable technician please send me a message and I can help you. (Also note if you didn't see my last review, I've been getting eyelash extensions for 10 years.) One last note - management tried to charge me for a 3 week fill, when it had only been about 12 days since my last appointment. I had to sort of argue with them to note the days and finally they agreed that it was "an oversight". Obviously this shop is now struggling with money - but that was inevitable with the change in management and the fact that all of the trained technicians were forced to quit. I never like to see a business fail but they are running their old reputation in to the ground - and we pay good money and expect quality results EVERY time.

I called her with less than two weeks to go until my wedding and though she had another one that day, she still squeezed me in Saturday early afternoon. I've never liked the results when someone else has done my makeup, but she's phenomenal. Her techniques were sooo precise and detailed. She spent time on me, but I still came out looking like myself.... only better. What's as important, if not moreso, than her skill is how soothing and mellow she was. I had some serious nerves/stomach issues that day, but she just talked to me like we were old friends. When she wasn't talking, she was doting on me, ordering me club soda and coming up with other solutions. She had such a calming effect and was one of the highlights of the day, truly. I paid about $175, which may seem like a lot but I talked to makeup artists who started at $300. Lenore was worth it. Call her.

The penalty for not showing up should just be forfeiture of your coupon ..... could not make an appointment with providing them a CC to "reserve the $185". I also have to agree to other conditions that were not listed on the original deal. NO THANKS ...... not an honest vendor if they are trying this hard to double bill you.

Now there's an issues, being uneven and looking horrible. I figured I would call her to fix it thinking it shouldn't be that hard for her to correct her mistakes. I asked Au'jhante to come into her shop to show her the results and see what she could do, she agreed to fix and honor it. Au'jhante tells me she's unable to do it at the moment when asked when she's available. Au'jhante told me she could do it the following month. I told her to let me know when. She tells me she's going to resend me her link to reschedule. I waited and nothing. Now she won't even respond to me. There wouldn't have been an issue if she was a stand up person and kept her word. It's sad when you tell someone you would fix the mistake you made and she blows you off really says a lot about a person character. If I knew she was that type of character I would have not let her touch nothing and do nothing on me she's bad business. If I could give her 0 's I would. Since this is the only way I'm able to post my reviews is the only reason why she gets a star.

That night we had a family gathering and I received at least 4 compliments. The service was 40min long and it felt like a cool breeze misting my face. I wear contacts and I feel comfortable wearing them while having them applied but this was the first time my eyes didn't get red. To me that meant that she used a top quality glue. Having extensions has been great for the summer - no mascara to run if I'm in the pool or get sweaty outside. Shaina takes her time and really makes my lashes look great.
