Tristin has been with me through years of big hair changes. She took me from blonde to brunette during pregnancy, and then directly to platinum card blonde, and she is truly the BLONDE QUEEN. I have spent my whole life chasing the perfect icy blonde and never achieved it until her. No unwanted warmth, no weird patches, just flawless, consistent color for 5.5 years straight. I wear extensions too, which adds another layer of skill, and she handles color matching and blending perfectly every time. I just started transitioning back to brunette and even that first in-between appointment looked incredible, which says everything. I've spent months growing out my layers, researching hair style images, and looking forward to this appointment to rock a new style. But instead, I left my appointment with face framing layers that were too short and not blended well into the ends. I believe my stylist tried to fix this by thinning the ends which ended up making me look like I have a bob with a long tail. Very upsetting, I've lost the thickness and shape at the ends of my hair which I cared for. I do want to say that when I called, Giovanni's was very responsive in refunding me. But I would much rather have received a hair cut I can be confident in.

I've been to about 4 other hairstylists/salons prior to this one. Some I've spent years going to and for one reason or another (Examples: cut my hair shorter than I asked, felt like they hated their job, price was insanely high) I left them. Thank goodness for Kinzie! I came in with lighter colored hair and wanted to go back to darker/closer to roots. I informed Kinzie that I suffer from eczema and dry scalp (have some scabbing on my scalp) and Kinzie treated me with the most non judgmental approach I've ever experienced. My previous stylist and her assistant gave off a "ick" or "rather be working with someone else vibe". Not Kinzie! Brent was our stylist, and he was extremely calm, kind, and pleasant to work with. He cut and styled both my hair and my then six-year-old daughter's. He made her first haircut a genuinely happy and fun experience. She asked for bangs and a bob, and it turned out to be the cutest hairstyle I've ever seen on her (see photo). Even now, long after it's grown out, she still asks to get the same haircut again. It was a great experience overall. The price was higher than a typical children's haircut, but it was well worth it for such a positive, comfortable experience--especially for a first haircut. The aesthetician Leah working here destroyed my face…read more Fibroblast gone wrong... I got Fibroblast done here and unfortunately, the results were horrible. I now have more damage to my skin than when I started. Leah sprayed over wrinkles and it ended up making them deeper and more visible, the burn marks were to deep and left holes in my face with black spot scares deep in my skin, not to mention it caused lots of hyper pigmentation all over my face and around my eyes I now look like I have freckles everywhere, which I did not have before. I posted the photos on a FB group of how the treatment was done the day after and I had over 150 comments saying this treatment was done VERY WRONG. I showed this to Leah and she assured me that she did it correctly and was properly trained, but I'm having a hard time believing the girl that trained her had any clue what she was doing because my skin is now permanently damaged. Leah offered to try and help correct it with a jet plasma pen but many people said I need to wait eight weeks before I do that treatment or it's going to cause more damage which Leah did not know either. I asked to wait the 8 weeks and now she doesn't want to give me the treatment she offered me. Leah gave some a professional grade chemical peel to do at home but I found out the chemicals in this product could also cause more damage so I never was use to use that. I'm now going to have to get thousands of dollars of treatment and waste more of my time trying to correct my skin. I explained this to Leah and asked for a refund or if she had any insurance that could help with the next treatments I'm going to need to get and she refused.
