So, I've been here a couple times. This is a one-off, but it's also the last time. I'll tell you, everybody is really nice, the salon is very clean, open, and air. I do recommend... some of them. First, I came in with a not impossible disney design (poison apple). But I scrapped it in favor of red and gold. Now, I wanted a red. But not this red. In fact, I didn't get to choose any of my colors. The gold nails were supposed to have a pillow design. First, and I thought they would know this, to do a pillow design, you use a nail file to press down into the acrylic paste while it's still soft to create a diamond pattern. She used the clear gel and dropped it into diamond shapes on my nails. While they DO look like diamond shapes, they are also different sizes. Secondly, the gold color. SHE chose a glitter gold to put on the nails, and it completely took away from the diamond pattern. It should've been a matte gold. Again, I wasn't even asked. Then I wanted red stones in the diamond shapes (like the sample picture). I told her red stones. Well, I'm not paying attention and she's already put white stones on one hand and is getting ready to start the other. She said she forgot the red stones. My gold pillow nails that I was very excited for, don't look ANYTHING like I asked for. It felt like she rushed through it because it was the end of the day. read more

This was my first visit here and I'll definitely be coming back! I got a French tip gel pedicure, and Mina provided such a great overall experience. She was incredibly patient while I decided between different nail styles -- no attitude and no rushing, which I really appreciated. I'm usually uncomfortable during nail appointments because some nail techs can be a bit rough, so I have a hard time fully relaxing. That wasn't the case here at all. Mina was gentle and attentive the entire time. It's also common for me to be asked to constantly move my feet in and out of the drying machine, but this was the first place I didn't have to do that, which made the experience feel seamless. My skin is heat-sensitive, so I especially appreciated that she didn't just place a hot towel directly onto my legs right away and tapped it a few times before setting it down. The salon itself is aesthetically beautiful, the check-in process was professional, and they offer complimentary beverages. The entire staff seemed very polite and welcoming. Not gonna lie, coming into this place I had a high expectation based on all of the good reviews this place has. I had spent $70 just for a gel manicure...in my opinion is was too expensive. In the photo attached is what I had asked for. Not even 2 days later they had all chipped off. Which doesn't make sense because My mother had also gotten a gel manicure and hers is perfectly fine. Maybe it was because my service felt very rushed and not taken care of that well? Which I would say isn't fair when I had spent a total of $280 for 2 mani & pedis. Nancy was professional and explained that I can get gel x which helps me grow out my natural nails. She was able to answer all my questions about the difference between acrylics and gel. I decided to get square shape on her suggestion, but realized after I left that I can't do much with this shape. I use my hands a lot so took some getting used to. I DONT recommend square nails! I also got a pedicure. I had not been here before so I was able to get a 10% discount as a first time customer. I also paid in cash so was able to get an additional 5% savings. Total with discounts was $88 not including tip. This isn't a "usual" shop. It's glitz and glamor and lots of ambience and extras. I really wanted to love this salon since I recently moved nearby and was hoping to find a new regular nail technician. Before booking, I specifically called and asked if they had someone experienced with acrylic toes because I do not have toenails on my two big toes and wanted someone knowledgeable and comfortable working with that situation. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was just placed with whoever was available, which already felt disappointing after I had specifically called ahead. What upset me most was the lack of professionalism and customer service. I politely mentioned that I wasn't happy with the shape of one of the nails and simply asked if it could be reshaped. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the technician became upset and walked away, leaving me unfinished. I actually had to ask if someone else was going to complete the service. As a licensed cosmetologist for almost 20 years, I understand that not every client will love everything immediately, and adjustments are a normal part of customer service. That interaction was honestly shocking to me. The salon promotes customer satisfaction heavily throughout the salon and on their TVs with Yelp reviews, but unfortunately that was not the experience I received. I chose Gel X stiletto, for the 1st time, LOVED then. I found a design on Pinterest and my nail tech duplicated it. I was done in about 45mins or so, i thought that was quick for the beautiful design. I happen to be in town, my sin was getting his hair done in the same shipping center. I've gone through a few of their techs, but the ones who stood out the most for me are Lyn and Hannah. Lyn is incredible with pedicures. My feet and legs always feel refreshed and amazing after she's done. What I really appreciate is that she never tries to oversell the packages--they have plenty to choose from, but Lyn takes the time to guide you on what's actually right for you. Then there's Hannah--her work on nails is just spectacular. Whether you're going for long and artistic or short and minimalist, she absolutely nails it (pun intended!).
