Client follow up from Andrea's (owner) reply: I have phone records of Andrea's calls, texts and conversations. I was very professional and respectful to Ms. Andrea and Ms. Brenda. The facts Beauty and Bliss breached their contract by NOT completing the 6 hair styles (originally contracted for hair) and should refund the $50 deposit for bridal hair. Sarah with Crazy Town (Niles, MI) went above and beyond to make sure all 6 ladies felt beautiful with excellent hair service. Beauty and Bliss contacted my daughter two days before the wedding to notify us that their hair stylist had Covid BUT Ms. Andrea did NOT have another hair stylist available. The drama started with Andrea (owner) wanting me to reach out to all of our vendors to help her with the "time mistake" a week before the wedding. I offered to cancel my hair time spot in order to help Beauty and Bliss with their "time issue", but Andrea would NOT release me from the contract. Andrea told me that I would have to pay $65 because I was part of the original quote/contract. Andrea stated: "I would hate for you to pay for your hair twice." Andrea asked our venue (the Barn), to open their doors at 6:45am to set-up and start make-up at 7:00am. The Barn owner, Kori, at first agreed to the new time but realized her cleaning crew wouldn't be done by 6:45am. Please keep in mind photos started at 1:00pm and 6 ladies needed hair service. Kori shared Beauty and Bliss had demanded an earlier start time with another wedding party and wanted Ms. Brenda's phone number. After Kori's call, Andrea told my daughter that I was not allowed to contact her or Brenda because I did not sign the contract, which I did NOT contact Ms. Andrea or Ms Brenda going forward. My daughter and I have been bullied, harassed, and lied to by Ms. Andrea. This women only cares about 5- stars, not her brides or excellent customer service. However, Brenda (make-up artist) was very professional during this entire ordeal. read more

Love love loveeed working with Andrea and Lisa! They are both very nice and funny, yet professional. It was such a breeze working with them because they were able to provide both hair and makeup on location for me and my bridesmaids, which no salons in the area were able to do. They were also much more affordable compared to salon prices. We all received lots of compliments on our hair and makeup, they completely exceeded my expectations! I felt so beautiful on my special day thanks to them! I briefly explained the look I had in mind for both my hair and makeup and they nailed it! My makeup lasted all night, even after my husband shoved a massive piece of cake in my face, going in my eye and up my nose... all of my eye makeup was still intact after he wiped all of the frosting off of my face. I had my hair done in a volumised, curly, up-do and had no issues with that either. I danced nearly the whole night and my hair didn't move, or feel like it was about to fall down; yet it still looked natural and soft, not stiff! We even had to change the head count for both hair and makeup last minute, due to some confusion on who wanted what done, and they were happy to accommodate us and squeeze as many of us in as possible in the time frame that we had. I highly recommend Andrea and Lisa to any bride who would like a stress free morning on the day of their wedding. They were very affordable, hassle free, and amazing at what they do!! read more

Words cannot convey just how spectacular a job Beauty and Bliss did in providing the most beautiful hair and makeup for myself, my sister (matron of honor), my sister-in-law, my niece (flower girl), and my mother in law. The updos were simply stunning and held their form all day. They were detailed, clean, and elegant, and we could not have been more impressed. The curls and down styles were beautiful and perfectly complemented each individual. B&B went above and beyond to make sure each of us was happy with our style, and to ensure our flower girl's crown could be woven in with her hair style. Andrea and Brittany did an incredible job! Additionally, our makeup was simply stunning. It was natural, but popped and turned out beautifully in the photos. Christina did each girl's makeup perfectly and made each of us feel so comfortable and so flawless in the process. I have never felt more beautiful and still fully myself. I couldn't imagine a more beautiful look for my wedding day and I cannot thank Beauty and Bliss enough! The team was fun, kind, and prompt. They brought such a bright energy to the home where we got ready and really livened the morning! Andrea, Brittany, and Christina are a fun, dynamic, extremely team. Their work blew me away...and I can't thank them enough for giving my sister, sister-in-law, niece, mother-in-law and me the most beautiful hair and makeup we could ask for. I used Beauty and Bliss for my wedding 6 years ago, for both hair and makeup. The makeup artist has changed since then, but Andrea is still there. I wish I could post a photo here of my finished look, because it was gorgeous. I like edgy styles, and Andrea did an elaborate faux hawk/ side braid that was WAY more pretty than it sounds in text! When she was done, the look needed a little something, and she found the perfect hair accessory for me. When I used Beauty and Bliss, the company was relatively small. It was only Andrea and one makeup artist. Since that time, I've watched the business grow, and watched Andrea expand her team and her reach, both through word of mouth and social media. Not to mention the business being highlighted on the cover of a local wedding magazine. Andrea is one of the most caring and sincere people I've ever met. She is the type of person who learns your name one time, and never forgets it. Andrea lives to serve others, and enjoys doing so. I have referred multiple people to Andrea, not just for wedding services, but for hair cutting services (and trust me, it's hard to squeeze into her schedule because her services are used and loved by so many!) I am so thankful I chose B&B for hair and makeup at my wedding! We had a huge group (about 15 people, including a grandmother and a flower girl) and they managed to get all the services done efficiently and beautifully. Not to mention they had such a fun energy the morning of the wedding, even at 5am! I originally had a family member who was going to do my hair, but after a couple trials I knew I needed to switch gears (about a month before the wedding), and Andrea added my hair to the wedding-day services as well as a touch-up before the reception and a hair trial the week of the wedding with my new stylist. I was so anxious about the pivot, but they handled it with grace and encouragement. Emily, my hair stylist, was fantastic and so talented!! The hair style I requested, which had been difficult for several other stylists to do, she pretty much nailed on the first try. Beauty and Bliss were beyond phenomenal!! I couldn't have asked for a better hairstylist and makeup artist for my wedding day! Andrea is beyond amazing and created my dream wedding hair! I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! She is so talented and strives for perfection! It was everything I had imagined and much much more! Amber was the makeup stylist for my bridal party and I and each and every girl looked absolutely beautiful! It was so natural and lasted the whole day and even the next! Andrea and Brittany did an incredible job on my and my bridesmaids hair! We all looked stunning and I've never seen anyone nail the hair in the pictures we chose like they did! Brenda did an incredible job on my make up! I took pictures to try to recreate her work but I'm not sure I'll be able to match that talent. My sister in law also had some fragrance allergies so Brenda used my sister in laws make up and did an absolutely incredible job!! She can seriously work around any curve ball. These ladies did an absolutely incredible job and I can't recommend them enough. I've never looked so good and got so many compliments on my hair and make up! The Beauty & Bliss team handled hair and makeup for my wedding and we couldn't be happier with the way everyone looked. My hair was just as I envisioned it and the makeup made me look flawless without being overdone. Brenda worked with me to find products for super sensitive skin, making it possible for me to wear makeup on my wedding day! Communication was excellent. Andrea and Lisa were so professional and accommodating for our wedding hair and makeup. As the bride, I met with Andrea and Lisa for a trail run and it was nice not only getting to know them, but really helped them understand what I was looking for on my wedding day. The day of the wedding Andrea opened up her home to all the girls and really made us feel comfortable. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup!! One of my guest said "whoever did your hair is incredible because it's the best wedding hair I have ever seen!" Can't beat that! Lisa only uses professional makeup and the airbrushing was awesome! Lisa and Andrea, and the two assistants they brought, were absolutely wonderful! The trial was so helpful in pinpointing exactly what I wanted and they were able to take my the idea of how I wanted my hair and makeup and turned it into reality. Andrea and Amber were absolutely amazing! I wanted to make sure my flower comb stayed in my hair during any necessary twerking for my best friends wedding. Andrea did not disappoint! That flower crown did not move at all the entire day and night, and the curls were just as beautiful at 10pm when I got them done at 9am! As Andrea put it, that thing was locked and loaded. Due to the early timing of the ceremony and our hair appointment set up by the bride, we had to leave our hotel by 7:30am with makeup on. Lisa was able to come right to our hotel room at 6am!!
