Shannon called me to ask how she could help and I explained what I was waiting on and that I was unhappy with my currently lash girl because the retention was terrible and lashes are not a cheap upkeep. A couple of weeks later, I set up my appointment with Deka. I was immediately greeted and was walked through entering my information and signing some online forms. I had my eyebrows tinted and then moved on to my eyelashes. Both looked amazing. I also received a follow up call/voicemail from Shannon to ask how my appt was. Fast forward two weeks to my fill in appt. the retention of my extensions was the best that I have ever had. And once again, the staff was so friendly and I walked out with beautiful lashes again. Often times, the lashes don't even make it home after having them put on before they start to fall all over my face like needles on a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Of course, they would love to sell me their mascara solution that is supposed to glue them on and keep them into place... But why aren't they gluing them on to begin with? I've been to other people and I know that it's not me. Other folks that put Eyelashes on seem to be able to adhere them in such a way that they stay on for so long that my eyelashes grow out and I have to have them removed because they're too long. I think that this is finally going to be the month that I canceled my subscription because this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm wasting my money. It doesn't matter which tech I see or whether I go to their "master lash artist "and pay the additional fee. I think it's simply their product products suck and are most likely made in such a way that the Eyelashes purposely fall off so you keep going back to have them put back on. Remember, every visit you feel compelled to leave a $15 tip for the tech, so if you have to go back every week because your eyelashes fell off that's $15 to the tech on every single visit in addition to what you're paying for your subscription. NOWHERE on her website does it mention this 20% policy; and she has NEVER communicated this policy to me. It's like she just dreamed it up. We started with the tint and then with my eye lashes. I had eye lashes already on. I stated that I had a an hour an a half because I had a memorial services. She stated she would do her best and if I needed to come back she gave me her number. A week later I noticed that I was missing nice chunk of lashes from my left eye. I called and returned last night. She stated that I would be charged for a refill despite the fact that she admitted that it was rare and she had never received complaints about her work and said it was because they did not book us enough time, she had to rush her work because I had to leave for the memorial service. She additionally added that my previous work was not done right and she had to remove many of them during our last appt. I didn't want to go back and forth with her because I needed my lashes done. She started to work on me and noticed that my eye was twitching and asked if the tape was bothering me, I said yes, a little. She replied "well I don't know so please tell me" that comment stayed with me. Had she explained to me the situation from the beginning, the appropriate time needed to guarantee her work so it is not rushed and I have chunks of missing lashes in less than a week; I would have absolutely said, hey, let's reschedule because that is the whole reason of purchasing a Groupon. I am depending on your professional expertise to make recommendations and explain the best course of action. So I was left paying for it twice because of the error in booking time allotted, and missing lashes because of rushed work.
