Unfortunately I didn't plan well and let that deal expire, so I went back and used that $50 credit for a facial anyway. Hannah and I had exchanged a few texts about 7 months before, when I was asking if I could use the discounted Bloomspot deal because it had just expired. She had politely told me no (as I expected.. hey it was worth a try!). Surprisingly, when I finally came in that day, she still remembered our conversation over text! I also like that even though I was about 5-10 minutes early, she was just ready, waiting and smiling at the front desk when I came in. Very professional, very prompt, very friendly. She's also flexible with the way she does her facial. I said that I like getting an explanation of what she was doing and she immediately started doing that. Understandably, some people like to just relax. The room was super relaxing: dimmed lights, a heated blanket, ocean sounds playing, and just a great vibe. Also ready on the table along the wall was a small plate of almonds with this great crispy, sweet coating and a few glasses of water with lemons. Hannah did several washes, a blackhead extraction, and some massaging: on the face, neck, shoulders, arm, hands, and feet. It was incredibly relaxing, and as someone who's normally very frugal and only spends money on what's "necessary", I found myself thinking this might just be worth all the money I was spending. Maybe I could justify doing this a few times a year. After the facial was over, she said I could stay in the room and just relax for as long as I needed. I did so - I was in such a great state that I think I ended up falling asleep for a bit. When I came out she was ready to receive my payment. She did talk about a few products, some that she carries, but never pushed for it. In general she was really knowledgeable and gave good tips. She also recommended I get one of those face brushes, which is always a product I've been a little dubious of (although it was a good sign to me that she doesn't sell any and mentioned I could get them for the best deal on Amazon), bit I asked my dermatologist afterwards and she did say that she thought that was a good product as well. Hannah, I wish I had more expendable income to spend on things like facials! I work for a nonprofit and have to be careful how I spend my hard-earned paychecks. I hope I can come back more often.
