I will fully admit I understand that this is a beauty store and that they specialize in mostly beauty care not makeup. however a friend and I went into the store today looking for a particular makeup item we fully understood that they may not have the item andumb as this was currently our third or fourth makeup store of the day. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We went in looked around for a little bit before an associate came up and asked us if we needed any help we asked for our particular makeup item and she went to go ask What I am assuming was a supervisor or even a manager of the store if they remotely sold said product. Again what I am assuming was some type of manager or supervisor was currently helping another customer and her small child. After being asked the question by the other associate she loudly blurred sound for everyone in the store to hear "oh God no" in a rather condescending and rude tone like she was appalled at the mere suggestion that they would carry a product like that. Now quite frankly I don't inherently care that she swore by taking the Lord's name in vain but the fact that she did so in front of a small child in my opinion is kind of rude and the fact that she swore in front of what was going to be several paying customers not just my friend and me, Leaves a fairly bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if she thought my friend and I looked poor, if it was that she didn't like how we were dressed, thought we looked LGBTQAI+, If we looked like the type of customer she didn't want to service or what but the fact of the matter is she made us feel very unwelcome and like we were beneath her between her tone and what she said. We were looking for a product that was similar to something a different makeup brand cells for $45 because unfortunately the only place that sells that particular make up brand in store is nearly a 1/2 hour drive And it would have been closed by the time we arrived. We were already out in that location. So we'd already planned on spending in my opinion of fair penny on makeup. Her clerk was at least polite and helpful but after how rude she was I don't plan on coming back and plan on making it crystal clear to everyone I know how rude and horrid that woman was. read more

LISA does NOT know what ombré is (the bottom of my hair is not all pink, it's still blonde in large chunks) AND she made an " executive " decision as she called it whilst making my hair silver on top instead of blonde i wanted. She then wasn't able to wash all the silver out. I now have blonde / silver spots on top, with partial pink on bottom. PLUS I got charged DOUBLE for my hair length when I had asked her to cut it, which she obviously didn't feel like doing. Not worth several hundred. DO NOT GO TO LISA. I will NEVER go back to this location again, it is a rip off. read more

I made an appointment to get a perm, my appt was at 1245 and I will be honest I was 5 minutes late because had to turn around and go back to get a mask because they require you wear one. I get there and Brenda (i think that was her name) looks at my hair and says that it's too long and she can't do it because she didn't have enough time. She said that they didn't know how long my hair was when in fact I told them on the phone days before that my hair is down to about the bottom of my bra strap. I made appointment a few weeks prior to my daughter's homecoming for a updo. They canceled the appointment three days prior to her dance. Her appointment time was for 3 PM and the only time they could fix her hair that day was 8 AM. There's no way her hair would look nice by 7 PM that night. she was so disappointed. read more

I currently am getting so many compliments on the silverish- blonde I have from my last appointment with her. I actually always get so many compliments after an appt with her. I am a huge fan of Beauty Brands. I love that they can give you the salon feel without the salon prices. I've been here for products, waxing, color, and cut. Most recently I went in to get my hair colored and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. My stylist, Cyndi, was very open to my ideas and helped me decide exactly what I wanted. I went with a Violet/Red and it turned out SO good. I love that in the light you can really see the different dimensions of the colors. I change my hair up a lot so it is nice to know I can go to beauty brands and still get great service without having to pay outrageous prices. I also love that they have such extensive product selection. Most salons only carry one brand or line, if you are there you can explore different products from hair to makeup and styling tools. I would recommend this place for sure. And I know I'll be back again soon! read more

I came in for a blow out - the stylist LISA washed my hair, blow dried my hair, did not round brush so she had to curl it... when checking out tells me I have a specialty style... and a length charge! None of this is true and clearly she doesn't know what a blow out is. I will NEVER return to this location. I recently moved and have been a loyal customer - but never again!!!!! read more

She is very helpful in offering suggestions with the care and styling of my hair as well as listens to what I like. She keeps me up to date on products that would be beneficial to me. I should have known when I got an appointment the same day that it would be with a new stylist. Sweet girl but it took her soooooo long to put in my foils that by the time she got to the all over color, they had developed and she had to take them out and spray them with water and wipe the color off with a towel. Needless to say, after a 4 hour stint in the chair I couldn't even see the high/low lights and she agreed. Offered for me to come back and she would re-do them but I wasn't going to go through another 2 hours of awkward talk while she put the color in.....and risk it being green the second time around. Nice hair cut but never again for color---$$ for nothing. read more

So this is my first review and I wish I could have made my first review a positive one. Which maybe I should have posted my first review with my first appointment here because the esthetician was so nice and did an amazing job, probably the best brow wax I ever had. Unfortunately the second visit didn't got well at all. I actually never go to my visit. Today, 11/4, I was scheduled to have a 4:00 facial. Around 3:15 I received a phone call that I missed from beauty brands but no message was left. I arrive right at 4 for my appointment and am told that it will be closer to 4:30 which I was a smidge annoyed with but thought ok a little time to relax and shop around, so I did. Well 4:30 rolls around and I still have not started my appointment. So I go sit down. At about 4:45 my esthetician peaks her head around the corner and asked if I'm her facial I said yes and she said ok and then continues to cut her current clients hair. If my appointment needed to be pushed back they should have left a message when they called so I didn't sit around wasting my time or just canceled the appointment. Unfortunately because of the lack of customer service I walked out. I have never ever done that. I work in the customer service industry and usually can give everyone the benefit of the doubt but after being almost an hour late...the customer service no longer exists. So sad and frustrating. Looks like I should have just scheduled an appointment with my first esthetician. read more

I am writing the customer service for beauty brands too so this is not just a random rant. Today was one of the worst customer experiences ever. Being a brand new mom of a 10week old I was really looking forward to doing some minor things to make me feel a little more back to normal and pretty again ... not just a tired out mommy look. So I scheduled for my haircut and eyelashes to be put on through the online service which is a bonus bc it's easy. However the outcome was not good. The appointment was for 1:15pm and I wasn't sat down to meet with my stylist until 1:40pm. I had timed it around my 10week olds nap and thank God he cooperated. That was my first impression of the salon as I had never been there and I find it extremely rude and unprofessional to run that late. I made the commitment to be on time for my appointment and I get things happen but really 25min?? So then while I'm getting my hair done another woman comes and asked do I have my eyelashes; ummmm what? No where on the appointment website was it said I provide my own eyelashes. Additionally I have never ever had to provide my own eyelashes for this service anywhere else I have been to prior. So she advises me to go to sally beauty supply bc beauty brands doesn't even have them. I'm frustrated but I hate causing a scene and I really just wanted to feel pretty going out after just having a baby so I did what she said and went and got my own supplies for them to use. At this point everything is extremely behind but I'm trying to hang in so come back with lashes and another woman comes out to put them on for me. What happens next? She doesn't know what she is doing apparently and could not perform the task and tried to blame it on it just isn't sticking to your eyelashes. Ummm what?? That's why I came here to beauty brands bc they stated they provided this service. So in the end i left frustrated and have now spent extra $ on lashes Which I cannot use bc she tried to do them but couldn't so they are essentially used. She even said maybe you can take them back; ummm what?? No one is going to take eyelashes back once it has been removed from packaging and put to someone's eye!!! I just left and am now left frustrated and with no eyelashes and no time to make another appointment somewhere else. It was a nightmare experience where I just wanted to again feel confident and back to "me" for the event tonight after just having a baby. Now I'm debating even going and staying home sounds so much better. read more
