The Samadhi tank was different than all of the other float tanks I have tried but I was very impressed by the temperature and air quality of this tank. I LOVE Drift Float Spa, and return as often as I can. I suffer from chronic migraines, so for me 'floating' is a very peaceful, relaxing experience. I have also gotten massages here, and I can personally recommend Stephanie Ramirez as a friendly, professional, and skilled massage therapist (who also happens to be the Spa proprietor). I also suffer from Fibromyalgia, and she always know just how to treat my body, so I leave feeling relief!! There are several things I like about DFS.....aside from it's close proximity to where I live. The staff there is second-to-none!! They are friendly, helpful, and never make you feel rushed. The atmosphere there is serene and calming from the moment you walk through the front door. The showers, as well as the float tubs themselves, are immaculately cleaned!! You can just tell by looking around that they care about their business...small personal touches everywhere....it's really nice!! There is a separate 'vanity room' with great lighting, and everything you might need, if you are returning to work, or going out somewhere directly from your float or massage. If you're a first timer, trying to decide IF you should try it........YOU SHOULD - EVERYBODY SHOULD TRY FLOATING AT LEAST ONCE!! If you've floated before, try Drift to compare to where you're currently going. I'd be hard pressed to find any place better!! I want to first say the lady who worked there was great. She was helpful and extremely friendly. I saw a Groupon online and figured I would give this a try. This was my first float and I was not impressed. The building was a bit old, very cold, and could use a good cleaning. You were instructed to shower before and after your float, but the facilities were extremely small and uncomfortable; I am not even a large person. Once I got into the float tank, the smell was overwhelming and unpleasant. The tank resembled an Ice Chest you would buy ice from at a gas station. It was very dark and so uncomfortable that I didn't last more than 25 minutes of the overall 60 minute session. I would not recommend this location for anyone who is claustrophobic. I have seen other float spas where the room is not dark and it's much larger. Overall, the staff was courteous, but the experience was far from relaxing. read more

I absolutely love this place! While visiting Wentzville for business I had a massive overdose of anxiety and ran to the nearest spa. They were able to fit me in right away. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. They sympathized with my situation and understood my needs right away. They recommended the float therapy rather than the traditional massage which I am accustom to. It was an OUTER BODY EXPERIENCE! I must admit I was skeptical going in, but once in the tank I was in heaven. All of my cares and concerns just "drifted" away. Appropriately named, this spa gets all of my business should I return to Wentzville, which I hope will be soon.
