Every 2 weeks is recommended, sounds like a lot but for the price it's pretty manageable. I always leave satisfied. If they can't shape them it to your liking, they'll let you know beforehand. For ex, I have rather straight eyebrows so unfortunately I'll never have the arch. Definitely not the spot to go for lash extensions... I should have known better, but I had just moved to the 'hood and was looking for a new spot. This is right off the subway, and the prices were amazing. I gave them two tries. The length and fullness were amazing, but they did not last. Unfortunately, the second time I was out of the country and literally, the lashes were just falling off my eyelid. Plus, one eye was worse than the other, so they looked super uneven and strange. (I've had lash extensions for a while now, so I know how to care for them properly... they were just done very poorly.) Also, my eyelids were itchy for over a week. The red flag should have been the signs on the wall that said it isn't their responsibility if you're allergic to the glue. I have never seen that anywhere else that does lashes! And the lashes themselves were thick and kind of plastic-y. Very cheap. It's like they know that and are just trying to cover their booties with the signs. My first visit, there wasn't even any music playing... so I was just laying there in silence. Awkward. Equally unimpressive was the fact that the woman kept pressuring me into getting my brows waxed, even after I told her no. At one point, she had the thread in her mouth, ready to go! And she was going to put that on my face? No. I had to forcefully tell her I don't like threading to get her to back off. Last but not least, I made the appointment and showed her what I had left of my last extensions. She gave me the price for a refill, and that was fair. But when I came in a few days later, she charged me for a full set. It wasn't worth arguing because I know I wasn't coming back, but the fact that they weren't ethical in addition to being shoddy was irritating. read more

I've been coming here for about 6 months and every time I come, I'm greeted with warm smiles and have less than 5 minute waiting time without making an appointment (on weekdays before 6pm). I went here to get my lashes extension. Priaya is the one who did my lashes. Things you should know -she's going to ask you to hold a small fan -you're going to get teary eyes while she's putting the extensions because of the air of the fan. -she's going to lift up your eyes to see if the extension is touching your eye ball. Keeps the fullness and shapes nicely with a little trim at the end. I've gotten a few of the acne facials here and they are oh so relaxing! I did the $25 set and I will say that the length was nice but the setting of them were done so terribly that they itched my eyelids. They were scraping close to my eye that I ended up losing about 40 eyelashes per eye.. when the lashes fell out. I've had them done professionally before but never lost so many lashes. This shouldn't have happened and I'm hoping they grow back quickly. As for hygiene I give it 2 stars. Please note that the lady did not wear gloves and I had to remind her to use hand sanitizer. Came here for my very first set of lashes. I purchased a package through groupon and used a 20% off coupon. I absolutely loved how it came out. Putting them on was easy for me - I even took a little nap in the process. I got these done before my vacation - I went snorkeling, and was in the water every day (I was careful about not rubbing my eyes) my set still looks pretty good. I have really short lashes - with these I dont have to add my mascara or any other eye makeup for that matter, I can't even feel that they are on, and they give my face an extra umph. The lady takes her time because, unfortunately, she doesn't know what she's doing. :/ I could tell she kept trying to pull my eyebrow hairs and wasn't getting them. For $5 eyebrow threading, I've been to a good number of places that are faster, more efficient, and better at shaping brows. My brows are uneven and also with no shape, but she helped to clean up the more obvious areas. They have a card where if you go 9 times your 10th eyebrow threading is free. Looks like a lot of specials going on with a recent opening, but I wouldn't go back. read more
